kids is staying with his (grandmother?) in the woods and she warns him not to look a fox in the eyes bc they're tricksy and will swap places with you. obviously that's the first thing the little boy does and gets body snatched by a fox who uhhhh proceeds to pig out with his new little boy human hands and the boy has to trick the fox into looking him in the eyes again to switch back...

thats all i got, it's an older book i wanna say from the 60's?? 70's?? kinda the same jist of "Little Rascal"

Update on My Stories (from my Ao3)

Hello everyone,

So I'm going to jump right to it.

I just learned my beta reader, and longtime internet friend that became a real-life friend, admitted to using AI to beta read/spellcheck/grammar check for my fanfiction Wanting Means Losing. Even their suggested changes and edits were made up by fucking AI.

Did I lose a friend of 7 years? Yes.

Did I cry over losing a friend and a lot of hard work? Yes.

This was not the only fanfiction I asked them to beta read. If you follow my Tumblr, you all know I've had one Naruto and three Elden Ring stories I've been working on for a couple years now. So I just…I don't know I'm at a loss. My emotions are still very high and I'm still very mad but honestly? Downright devasted that my works were used to feed that Thing. I'm absolutely spent. We were friends for so so long I feel so betrayed and I can't stop crying

Because of this, I will be scrapping this story and rewriting the whole thing. I'm going to try to keep most of the plots I kept in my written story binder, which like, thank GOD I still have that binder and all of my original ideas/random thoughts for this story and the others.

Hopefully I'll be able to start the rewrite soon. Before I do anything rash I'm going to keep this story up and just change the chapters when I rewrite them instead of tossing the whole thing.
