It was beyond foolish to even feel this way, after all…what kind of idiot would continue to keep coming back to someone who wouldn’t even give her the time of day; and, deep down…she knew that in the end all she was doing was desperately hoping that by some miracle her actions would cause him to change - but, nothing like that would ever happen. “And, I’m really - really sorry…cause we’re all the worst friends. I’m sorry that we all forget that you have feelings too - It’s not fair, so I get if you hate us - me; b-but I don’t want you to.”  

“That’s a first.” Looking away from her now as he listened to her ramble on. He hadn’t ever heard them call themselves bad friends who deserve to be hated. When did his feelings even matter to them? If they mattered, they’d leave him alone. But they didn’t, so, there it was.
