Drag Queen Mike Wheeler?

Okay bear with me but lately I’ve been thinking so much about Mike accidentally discovering drag and falling in love with it lowkey? Like he would be the one.

Like maybe he found himself at some gay bar in his mid 20s and met a person in drag and asked loads of questions like ‘what is drag?” And “how did you get started with drag?”

And the more the drag queen answers Mike questions the more Mike started comparing it to D&D. Because really— you’re just creating a character sheet with all the traits and backgrounds and strengths.

And it’s been so long since Mike revisit his old character, that he gets so excited at the idea of resurrecting it.

So, Mike asks if drag queens can be knights, and the drag queen goes “I mean yeah I guess,,, someone would be into it?”

And Mike would later learn that drag isn’t just lip singing and performing— that he could do literarily anything! And he consider how cool would it be to just create and read out loud a oneshot but in full drag?

I can just imagine Mike basing his drag persona on his dnd character because he’s such a nerd and love how he can express his interests in other medias in front of a audience like the little secret theater kid he is.

Anyways, I thought it was a fun idea and I just binge watch dnd drag queens so who knows.

What I feel people frequently forget about autistic special interests is that they aren't always information based. They may simply be visual or mental

Someone may have a special interest in a show, but instead of that meaning that they will talk about that show often, it may mean they watch that show extremely frequently.

Special interests are ways of regulating, not simply encyclopedias we have in our heads. Sometimes it's watching something frequently. Maybe only listening to one genre of music, maybe it's a collection, maybe it's an action. I'm tired of it only being seen as autistic people's personal encyclopedias

For two years I have been writing a late-in-life-out-gay man/drag queen Ron Weasley fanfic (yes, you did read that right) and it’s honestly became such a hobby for me where I just keep adding to it. I’ll read a text message from my friend or watch a movie and be like ‘woah that will go great in my drag queen ron fic’. It had taken such a mind of its own that I doubt it will ever see the light of day
