(( Hi everyone; just wanted to let you know that I'm going to be resigning as Soundwave. Thanks for all the fun! See ya later Prime-verse, it's been real~ ))
Hey Soundwave! Are you and Starscream bros again?
Hello, Soundwave! I was wondering if you could explain to me how you communicate with mechs from alternate dimensions. Do you physically travel there, just send comms, or do they come to you? I'm hoping to compile a list and compare the different manners in which people succeed in stable inter-dimensional travel. Could you help me?
… -It’s a very detailed and highly encrypted process to which he goes about watching communicating with other mechs in alternate dimensions. However, comms are most reliant but some– one mech in particular– have a habit of coming to him.
He points to the screen, indicating that digital communication is the most efficient way to establish a connection (of sorts). And as for travel… that all depends on the uncontrollable tears associated with their universe. The screen digitizes into a complex array of graphs and charts in regards to the portals occurring within their time. He gave the human help; now whether the other can read Cybertronianand understand it is not Soundwave’s problem.-

Help I’m so bored omg
-As soon as Hardshell takes the cube from Laserbeak, the small flier circles around the pair before reattaching to Soundwave’s chassis. He watches Hardshell test the cube before giving it to the hatchling. And then said hatchling squeaks with joy as soon as his little mouth tries to chug down the energon. Soundwave’s helm tilts in silent observation before Zori’s little feet on his pede start to clatter.
A wordless asking through their bond for Soundwave to allow him to eat his own energon cube as well. Catching Hardshell’s movement, Soundwave is about to turn around as well and head into his room to give into Zori’s insistent demand for food when the Insecticon leader’s words halt him.
Visored gaze turns back to the duo as he begins to filter through possible names for the newest member of the Hive. He gets to the last few thousands before selecting one that seems to fit.
The digitized wording appears across his screen-like facial mask: -
…F-O-R-A-G-E-R…
Hardshell stared in curiosity, watching as Soundwave silently displayed a name choice on his screen. He tilted his head and nodded slowly, liking how much the Insecticon. "It is a very good name," he murmured and stared at Soundwave.
"There should not be much more disturbance, but if another one happens to sneak in, inform the closest Hivemate you can find," he explained while balancing the hatchling’s cube. "But…as a failsafe, keep a small amount of energon outside your door instead. That might help deter any others from trying to get in."
Hardshell made a single bow and turned to walk away from the silent mech. The youngling gave off a loud burp and giggled, much to Hardshell’s amusement and climbed up his shoulder to stare back at Soundwave. The smaller Insecticon began to wave and made soft coos as the two departed from sight.
-Getting the confirmation of the hatchling's name, Soundwave inwardly is pleased. And when Hardshell goes on to explain the possibilities of something like this ocuring again, the Decepticon spy gives a small understanding nod.
He will note Hardshell's advisement and securely place a small cube of energon strategically outside in order to prevent another coming into his room. Zori did seem very intent on keeping what's his, his.
Watching Hardshell walk away, Soundwave's main focal point turns to the hatchling who's now staring back at him. At the small wave, he raises his right arm a bit and his mask digitizes an image for the small Insecticon to see.-
-Soundwave does have a soft spot for these kinds of mecha– and he has an even bigger soft spot for his own. Zori's insistent tugging around his leg with his tail gets him moving again. The little micron's yearning for energon obvious and Soundwave won't deny him. Back inside the room they go and the door shuts securely behind him.-

There is one thing that tugs at my heartstrings a lot and that’s giant transforming robots being homesick babies ;n;
Hardshell tilted his head and watched as another Cybertronian creature hovered out of Soundwave’s room. It flew up to him, holding a small cube of Energon. He glanced to Soundwave for a moment before hesitantly taking the cube. "…Thank you. It is not needed, but…appreciated nonetheless," he meekly says and steadies the cube for the young Insecticon to drink from. He paused and gave the Energon a small taste beforehand to be sure it would be alright for the hatchling.
Many factors of energon, such as the consistency and how thick it was after being processed, needed to be taken into account. Insecticon young have very sensitive guts.
The youngling, on the other hand, squeaked in happiness and tried to greedily drink the energon down, but Hardshell kept his grip steady. He smiled and slowly began to turn away, but paused to give Soundwave one last glance. "In my Hive’s custom, the first Hivemate to care for a hatchling can name it…And, it seems silly, but I would not mind if you wanted to give this one a name?" he asked, feeling slightly unsure. He didn’t know if Soundwave would bother or be interested enough, but it didn’t hurt to offer, right?

He watches Hardshell test the cube before giving it to the hatchling. And then said hatchling squeaks with joy as soon as his little mouth tries to chug down the energon. -Receiving a confirmation ping from the group of drones he called for, Soundwave patiently awaits their arrival at the site. It doesn’t take the assembled group long to arrive; the roar of engine overhead signaling them being here.-
-Watching the troops land in their formation, Soundwave again transmits the data and information for them to begin digging up and collecting the energy. That being done, the Decepticon Comms. Officer moves out of the way to allow the drones to begin– hoping that Skywarp will get the hint to move away as well. Taking his standing to a spot where he can overlook what’s going on.-
He watches the group fly overhead and as Soundwave moves, he moves also, out of the way and stands next to Soundwave to observe them. Balo watching them trots after the two Decepticons and looks up, rubbing against Skywarp’s leg.
Soon they will get the desired energy, wouldn’t this just be lovely. Megatron should be very pleased with the two. Maybe… well, is in hope that Megatron will like him for finding such a great energy spike but of course Soundwave would get some credit as well.
He keeps his arms at his side and continues to watch the drones work and begin drilling into the cliffs roof and down towards the desired source.
-It doesn't take the drones long to hit the patch of energy Balo had pinpointed earlier. Their excited chatter at finding the source and looking up the two higher ranking Decepticons before the rougher drilling and harvesting begins. Soundwave just stares down at them, giving them silent indication to continue onwards.
Unlike other Decepticons under Megatron's ruling, Soundwave doesn't seek praise. He does his job and that's it. Standing there stoically he just waits for the excavation to be completed– large chunks of energy embedded into the rock being carved out and syphoned from the Earth in a timely manner.-

-Taking the offered chunk of raw energy from Skywarp’s grasp, Soundwave examines it further before looking up at the jet. Most of the drones are drinking… There is energy here; energy to which the Autobots might catch wind of and come to claim for themselves.
Should Megatron hear this and know that most of his drones are drinking, Soundwave is fairly certain that their Warlord will not be pleased. He coud summon them but that route would lead to a possible failure. Intoxicated mechs should not be operating machinery. It’d just be more work for him in the end… Still, that is their problem and Soundwave is aware of a cluster that are still readily available that will suffice.
He nods at the question and transmits his summoning to those that can begin the operation here.-
Skywarp watches Soundwave examine the raw energy. Shrugging his shoulders, “Happened to see them drinking with the other mechs when I walked by." Thundercracker and himself were still recovering and had yet to do anything besides relax and wait for themselves to heal.
And he was pretty sure that Soundwave would know that Megatron would be very displeased… Plus, if the Autobots ever came, the newly recruited Predacons would be a likely help if scaring them off.
Oh, okay. There were some sober drones around…excellent. Looking towards the sky, waiting for the mechs to come by and begin their work in recovering that raw energy.
-Receiving a confirmation ping from the group of drones he called for, Soundwave patiently awaits their arrival at the site. It doesn't take the assembled group long to arrive; the roar of engine overhead signaling them being here.-
-Watching the troops land in their formation, Soundwave again transmits the data and information for them to begin digging up and collecting the energy. That being done, the Decepticon Comms. Officer moves out of the way to allow the drones to begin– hoping that Skywarp will get the hint to move away as well. Taking his standing to a spot where he can overlook what's going on.-
-As Hardshell moves closer, Soundwave is forced to look up at the much larger mech. Whether it is meant to be intimidating or not, Soundwave doesn’t care much; he’s more concerned with what’s going on in his room. In a room which Hardshell seems interested in as well. Thankfully, Soundwave doesn’t have to wait long before the Insecticon is informing him of just what he’s doing: or rather, just what he is searching for.
A youngling, is it? That catches Soundwave’s attention and his covered gaze drops back down to his door. It makes sense that the hatchlings would be hungry and in search of food– Soundwave, for Laserbeak and Zori– does have a small assortment of treats and engergon for them stowed away in his quarters. Perhaps the hatchling sensed it.
Since remaining here doesn’t solve anything, the Decepticon spy moves around the larger mech towards his door. Datacable sliding out to latch onto the keypad and input the digital code to open the door. As soon as the metal opens, Zori comes running out. Skittering underneath Soundwave’s legs carrying a small cube in his claw-like tail.-
Hardshell is relieved after Soundwave moves to open his door. He nearly steps forward, but pauses after a strange…creature steps out? In its tail it carried a cube, with the Insecticon youngling in tow. It waddles after the small creature, gazing at the cube with a hungry expression.
The Insecticon smirks and leans forward to scoop it in his claws. "There you are," he says, still feeling quite relieved, and checks the youngling over for damage.
Glancing to Soundwave, he nods in appreciation and extends his arms out to show the hatchling to the silent, purple mech. "And this is the troublemaker. Sorry for bothering you, Soundwave. Usually these sorts of things are better organized…but with the infection…and the crash…we were frantic to build our numbers up again," he says, feeling that he owes an explanation. "Normally the eggs are laid strictly in one place, but with the ship being half buried in sand, anywhere was free game."
Hardshell frowns when the younglings begins to squirm in his arms, still watching the tiny creature hiding against Soundwave’s legs. It then begins to fuss and make soft whine, with its mouth nearly watering. "No. I know you are hungry, but you’ll get to eat when you join the others. You cannot take someone’s energon, little one," Hardshell says gently and strokes the Insecticon’s head.
-Watching Zori run around his pedes, Soundwave then looks up when Hardshell bends down to pick up the hatchling. Looking at the small Insecticon, the Communications Officer silently listens to Hardshell further explain; as to which Soundwave is grateful for the added information.
Feeling movement underneath his pedes, Soundwave looks down to see Zori's tiny feet clatter over his own as the scorpion-like mini Con practically sits atop it. The small cube in his grasp is pulled close to his claws as if trying to keep it away from the hungry Insecticon in Hardshell's hold.
That small whine coming from the hatchling earns himself Soundwave's attention once again. A hungry hatchling needs to be fed. And seeing as to how Zori is claiming this one small cube, Soundwave pings for Laserbeak to bring out another as opposed to taking it from his other mini Con. The small flier follows orders and swoops out of the room to deliver a cube for Hardshell's hatchling.-
