Don't you love it when you stumble into places that are so exquisite they simply take your breath away? After traveling the twisty road to Hana, we found this magical place to swim, relax and take in the great mystery of life. Discoveries like this are exactly why I love travel.

The first time I remember seeing these magnificent flowers was in Bali, a long time ago, probably in 1993. Frangipani or plumeria- they bloom in so many color, pink, yellow, white and their fragrance is intoxicatingly sweet. Seeing them in Hawaii always puts a smile on my face and reminds me of the magical life I lead and the incredible places I've visited and called home. Bali will always hold a sacred place in my heart from the years I was there and lived with my ex's family. I am filled with gratitude for my life of sweet adventure.

Feeling so much gratitude this morning for my life as I walk to the ferry to head into Seattle. The damp, misty air holds the distinct scent of low tide. I breathe in that salty, familiar, ancient smell and feel both renewed and deeply connected to this sacred earth and all life.

I'm obsessed this spring with flowers. For over 25 years I lived in warm, tropical places and last year moved to Washington with traditional 4 seasons. Experiencing fall, winter and now spring with so much drama and obvious change makes me feel more connected to my own natural rhythms and flow. I saw over the winter ❄️ how I went within, life slowed down, I was contemplative and now as the spring flowers 🌺 burst forth I feel new life, ideas, creativity buzzing all around! Wonder what summer will bring!?!

Sunshine on a Sunday. It's key to a rich, full life to take time to play, to relax, to be restored by the healing powers of nature. It's so easy to keep "doing " but what your mind and ❤️ need is to let go, relax and allow the creativity and flow to rise up and awaken within. Don't be afraid to say yes to doing nothing! It's in the non-doing that creation is often born. Enjoy today and every day!
