Just caught up on Vanguard G and god these two are precious, protect them.
Why Mamoru Anjou is my favourite Cardfight!! Vanguard G character
When people judge Kagero support purely based on how it works in Overlord builds
I’m trying to prove a point. If you are a person that identifies as she/her and plays Cardfight Vanguard please reblog this.
The point I’m trying to prove is that *girls play this game.
Thanks.
But random but do you think that the Nightmare Doll deck is any good considering todays meta and do you think that Carnivourus Megatrick, Prana could help them depending on her skill?
Nightmare Doll is still plenty capable in the current meta, though it has a harder time due to harder hitting and faster decks. The deck requires set up which creates more risk as opposing decks gain pace. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was direct support between the 2 upcoming sets. Though the only info we have on Prana is that it is a G-Unit, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was worth including in a Nightmare Doll build due to being generic.
Hope that helps!
@cardfighterculture is in a real bad place right now and I'm worried. I've been concerned for a long time, I just haven't been able to do much to help. It's not my place to go into detail, just be considerate over Wes if you can. He always does what he can to help, I just think stress will come from it right now though. Hopefully time will help, will keep doing what I can. Any friends of his helping out would be so great too.
It’s 4am but CFA was updated with Blademaster support so HERE I AM
May I take this moment in time to make you appreciate... DRAGONS

MY BLADEMASTER BABIES ARE FINALLY HERE
I’m not sure if it's reassuring or a little embarrassing that my combo idea was included in the R&D notes…
CFV-G Tutorials - Quick COtD Combo - Double Ultimate Break
During your main phase, Ultimate Break with:
Blazing Lion, Platina Ezel [ACT](VC) Limit Break 5 (This ability is active if you have five or more damage):[Counter Blast (3)] Choose up to five of your «Gold Paladin» rear-guards, and those units get [Power]+5000 until end of turn.
Normal call into:
Wind Flame Lion, Wonder Ezel [AUTO]:When this unit is placed on (RC), if you have a grade 3 vanguard with "Ezel" in its card name at [Stand], search your deck for up to one card with "Ezel" in its card name, ride it as [Stand], shuffle your deck, and that unit gets [Power]+5000 until end of turn.
Chain skill into:
Raven Haired Ezel [AUTO] Limit Break 5 (This ability is active if you have five or more damage):When this unit is placed on (VC) with a grade 3 or greater unit with "Ezel" in its card name that was rode, until end of turn, this unit gets [Power]+10000, and your opponent cannot call cards other than grade 1 from hand to (GC).
Result causes a high power board with guard restriction added, forcing multiple Grade 1 guards on all columns or G-guardian plays. Note that Ezel support works with Wind Flame, causing potential for earlier activation in units such as Scarlet Lion Cub, Caria. This can help generate a fuller field easier/faster, it’s also good to note that Sacred Twin White Lion can push the player to 5 damage for the turn if needed.
200! Ohmygoshhhhh
Why Mamoru Anjou is my favourite Cardfight!! Vanguard G character
CFV-G Tutorials - Quick COtD Combo
During your opponent attack, G guardian into:
Death Star Vader, Demon Maxwell [AUTO]:[Choose one of your units in your back row, and lock it] When this unit is placed on (GC), you may pay the cost. If you do, this unit gets [Shield]+5000 until end of that battle.
Chain skill into:
Sacrifice Messiah [AUTO](RC) Generation Break 1:[Lock this unit] When another rear-guard is locked, if you have a grade 3 or greater vanguard with "Messiah" in its card name, you may pay the cost. If you do, Counter Charge (1), choose up to one of your other units, and it gets [Power]+3000 until end of turn.
Choose VC Alter Ego Messiah as power target, creating a 14k VG body. This process increases the guard value of the G guardian play by 5k as well as creating a higher magic number to hit, adding an extra 5k shield value vs typical attack values. RC columns would require to hit 14k to be viable and 19k for a 1k guard prompt. Few individual RG units can hit 14k alone (without triggers) and a 12k attacker with 7k boost column is required to reach 19k (without triggers). This value also creates a 2 pass situation against a 26k G-Unit and a no pass vs 21k Legion unit. Further copies of Sacrifice can be chained also, creating an even higher VG number.
I see this a whole lot in “nerd culture”, where being knowledgeable about a medium is seen as a priority to a person over actual support of the same medium and it’s existing/potential fan base. As a female I feel I get this even more but that’s not what I want to write about.
Knowing a lot about something like a TCG can be a real gift to the community. Helping new players and finding new ways to have fun is so great for a healthy game environment. Yet it seems to turn into a competition of arrogance almost universally. People put eachother down over small details and even subjective matters. “Wow this is really good!” “If you weren’t so new you’d understand it’s not” calling people out like that helps nobody, it drives away players and associates the game with negativity.
People want to enjoy something, let them and offer then understanding in what may help them to enjoy it even further. Don’t try to put them down just because you’re under the impression it will make you look more knowledgeable. Honestly it comes across as arrogance or even plain bullying, making you seem more negative and in turn the medium more negative.
I’m not trying to call anybody out. I do see this happen within this community a whole lot as all. Let people be excited about things they like, it doesn’t hold any importance to you.
