"Wait. Biscuits and gravy…?" Mizuki tilted his head slightly, looking a little confused. That was a weird combination. Of course, he was thinking of cookies and treats. What kind of food did they actually eat over in America?

"Uhm, I don’t exactly know what’s American and what isn’t… I’ve never been outside Midorijima or anything." He looked back over the menu again, trying to be somewhat helpful. After a moment, he looked back up at Mink with a blush. Mink was pushing his bangs out of his face. "Ah… uh, not really. Do you?" He smiled nervously, reminded a little of Koujaku. Koujaku always bothered him about his hair, but he was the only one. Until now, apparently.

Mink smiled at him. "Yeah.. They're really good." He put the menu down and looked Mizuki over. He didn't know how to even describe what he wanted. "They probably don't have it..." He looked down feeling a bit disappointed. Of course hey wouldn't have it. This wasn't home, as much as it looked the same. Mink swallowed and leaned back in his seat. "America isn't.. every place in America is different. Where I was from.. it was nice. There were forests everywhere." He smiled at Mizuki and looked back at the menu. "I'll have coffee and whatever you order. I don't care. You're hair is fine." This was stupid. Why was he here on this date?
