J Kwala is one of the premier rappers currently bubbling out of Indiana. His most recent release, Ward IV consists of 18 tracks with various producers, most notably Classy Beats with his signature futuristic and atmospheric keys and production. Tracks such as "How I Feel", & "On Me" highlights J Kwala's versatility & lyrical wit in flawlessly illustrating his location in juxtaposition to his life and surroundings. In the fiery posse track, "Hit the AVE", J Kwala enlists the features of the M.O.B.B. in which Kwala, Flyyguy Jewlz, and Cloud Life deliver energetic verses with exemplary lyrical skill, and gloss. Ward IV depicts a gritty reality of the world of Gangsters, hustlers, hoes, and the spectrum of characters that materialize in between. In all, despite incarceration, naysayers, and trappings in the street landscape J Kwala delivers music resounding with motivation for the streets.
