M!A Power: Courage Manipulation
“Come on, don’t be a party pooper. I’m sorry I haven’t been spending time with you. Now will you please come play in the sand with me?” Pearl asked, that thick accent clinging to her words. She’d been bad about spending time with her siblings, and she was trying to start finding a balance between her family and her boyfriend.
It was a rare time that Pearl wasn’t actually wearing makeup, but she felt . . .tired. She didn’t feel like herself, but she figured she’d just been wearing herself out with school, Hunter, and being his TA. Slowing it down was all she needed to do. Dropping her book off the table, she cursed and picked it up, looking around before settling on the person nearest her. “You wouldn’t be up for an adventure, would you?” she asked, not even noticing the courage she was subconsciously pushing towards them. Pearl just wanted out of the castle, and making a new friend to shock and open up to new things was just what she needed to do.
The two of them would deal if people bothered them about what happened. It wasn’t like they made a habit of having loud interactions in his office. His apartment was another thing but he tried to keep them quiet in there…even though he tended to fail miserably. This time he hadn’t even tried. He was too focused on the woman he loved under him.
Hunter had learned how she liked fire due to the fireplaces within the castle and his place. He also may have asked for her help burning some old papers and the excitement she displayed showed him how much she liked fire.Pearl’s plan for the rest of the night was perfect and she had planned it just for them, catering to him and what he liked which she also happened to like as well. This was one of the reasons he loves her.
He was an ex-cop.Of course he was overprotective. “Ya always have the best ideas, querida.” He smirked, enjoying her hands in his back pockets. She knew him very well and knew what he liked.S’mores were good but she was better.
Hunter was comfortable with his head on her chest, feeling her fingers in his hair.Feeling her hand on his back, touching his scars, reminded him of what he needed to tell her. He knew he had to do it tonight. They had admitted their feelings and it was time. Pearl’s soft words solidified his thoughts. He kissed her chest and took a deep breath. “I do love ya too,My pequino fuego.” He murmured.

It was easy enough to avoid. Okay, that was being stupidly optimistic, but they could indeed deal if it came to that. At least he wasn’t the only one on campus that failed miserably to keep the volume down in staff housing. From what she’d heard, there were plenty of guilty parties. There was nothing wrong with her love of fire. It wasn’t like she was hurting anyone, she knew how to keep it contained.
Of course she’d had his desires, what he enjoyed in mind. Pearl liked treating her man. And it worked out extra well because they had similar interests. So treating him to delightful evenings turned into her treating herself as well. It was a wonderful pairing indeed.
Good thing she loved how protective Hunter was then. He was a sweetheart, as scary looking as he could be to those around him. But she knew him, the real him underneath it all. “I know I do,” she purred teasingly as she stole another kiss. At least she knew how to keep him happy. After the night of deceased relatives returning and even getting a visit from his mother, Pearl didn’t question whether or not she made him happy. She’d gotten more proof than she knew what to do with. Plus, she was the one he’d gone to. What more did she need?
Smiling to herself, she enjoyed the easy silence between them, the comforting touches, the sweet embrace. It was the perfect way to end their day. Especially with all the drama around Dr. Tomago’s powers going haywire. Smiling at his words, Pearl kissed the top of his head before running her fingers down along the top scar on his back. The texture, the different sensations she got running her fingers over his marred back, it was normal to her, comforting in that she knew it was him, that he was with her and her protective badass would keep her safe and happy. But she knew that the story behind them wouldn’t be good when he finally shared it.
The sudden trip into his past pulled her from her thoughts, her focus entirely on Hunter and hanging on every word passing those sweet lips. Pearl knew what happened to his parents, so she understood what he meant, nodding in agreement. No words came out, she didn’t want to interrupt the train of thought. It was his time to share, and she needed to sit back and listen as he shared the most heartbreaking pieces of his past. And it did brake her heart, made her wish she could shield him from all of it. When Hunter shifted, she raised her arms and let him get comfortable before wrapping them around him once more. She could understand why he did it, why he let his guard down, why he’d gone ahead. And she didn’t blame him at all. In the same position, she would have done the same thing. How could she not? The nuzzling of that coarse hair on his face against her flesh made Pearl shiver as she pet his hair, gently twirling umber locks around her fingers.
Licking her lips, she closed her eyes, knowing what was coming. He’d gotten to the point that she knew brought him to what he now bore on his skin, what he’d always wear as a reminder. A silent tear escaped as she listened to him list off every injury he’d had, as he told her what the aftermath was. Taking in a shaky breath, she ran her hand over his cheek, gently grazing the skin with her nails before leading him up so she could kiss him tenderly. “Of course I still love you,” she whispered, that thick accent growing ever thicker as more silent tears fell. “I’m sorry for what happened to you, what you went through, but all that Hell has made you so strong. I was not trying to be patient, querido, I knew you needed to tell me in your own time. I’m glad you were ready to share, but I wish you didn’t think that it’d make me feel differently about you.” Pearl was well acquainted with his scars, she knew something horrific had happened to cause them. “Never doubt this,” she murmured against his lips, taking one of Hunter’s hands and pressing it to her chest. “Will you be able to sleep or do you want to drink coffee and lay out under the stars?” Nuzzling her nose along his, Pearl didn’t have any accusation in her voice, any annoyance. It never bothered her to stay up on night where he had nightmares, where sleep eluded him. She was grateful that he turned to her in those times. So if he wanted to stay up after revisiting such painful memories, Pearl wouldn’t mind. It would just be another night of them together, sharing parts of themselves that they hadn’t let anyone see in so long.
Sighing to herself, Pearl twirled her fingers in his hair again and met his azure gaze. “You shared, it’s my turn,” she whispered, stealing another kiss before settling on the makeshift bed, dark eyes going to the tent, not sure she could look at him with the shame she felt for her own past.
“I did the one thing you’re never supposed to do. I stayed with a man that hit me. And it ended up not just being me that was affected by it. I didn’t know and it wasn’t until I ended up in the hospital that I found out I lost. . .” Shaking her head, Pearl couldn’t finish the sentence. “I just got so angry after that. It was enough to make me leave him but I was kicked out of school for fighting, for kicking these girls’ asses that were talking about things they didn’t understand. I didn’t even believe it when I got the invitation, that I was getting a second chance.” A sob and chuckled mixed together as she hugged Hunter tight. “Promise you still love me, Cazador?” she breathed against his skin as she hid her face against him.
“As I predicted my dad freaked out over my new tattoo, I for one thought he’d like it,I didn’t know he hated snakes so much”Sally sighed a little as she looked down at the snake tattoo that wrapped around her wrist and onto her hand. “I don’t think I will be able to do anything without him freaking out”
“Of course he did. That’s what dads do. Even my uncle sometimes forgets he’s not my actual dad,” she replied, referring to the ASL professor. Pearl pulled her sweatshirt off and lifted the side of her shirt enough to show off the bird on her rib cage. “I’d show you my lightning bolt, but I don’t feel like taking off my pants. And I have a rose on my foot.” The newest addition that happened one drunken night with her and Hunter wasn’t going to be shown off. She’d wound up with a crossbow on her ass and he had a dalmatian on his. Yeah, that wouldn’t be shared. Ever. Well, not sober. “He’s going to freak out no matter what you do. Why not come have some fun?” Hunter was busy, Mel had gone off with Houck again, and she could definitely use another partner in crime for her various adventures. “I promise it won’t be illegal. At first,” she teased.
Hunter would definitely need her courage. However, she never had to fear her running way from her or avoiding her. The latter wouldn’t be possible since it required hiring subs and all of that but she never had to worry about him avoiding her. He’d never do that. Even if he wasn’t ready to face something with her he’d never avoid her.
The fact that she laughed harder made him smile. He loved making her laugh. He winked at her and couldn’t help when he stole a glance at the title of the song. He glanced a her in playful fear before breaking out in a smile. “I still love you, querida.” He answered, leaning over to kiss her cheek.
Hunter playfully held his arm and pouted at her, pretending she really hurt him even though it didn’t hurt that bad. It probably would be concerning for other people but they weren’t dangerously setting fires. They were safely setting them.Hunter was sure she could handle roughing it. She went into the woods almost as much as he did so he knew she was familiar with being out and about in the wild. It was still a very romantic little get away with the little bit of roughing it in a way.
Hunter could almost feel that she rolled her eyes at him which made him smirk. He worried about her and he was sure she worried about him to some degree.Hunter grinned at the glow of the fire and held his cigarette away from her as he wrapped his arm around her.”Just like you.” He chuckled, kissing her head. He was sure he smelled like smoke but he knew she didn’t mind it. Just didn’t like the smoke first hand. “Oh?” Hunter smirked and shivered from her kiss.”The fun way or by cuddlin you?” He asked her, enjoying her hands slipping into his back pockets. Hunter finished his smoke and tossed the butt into the fire before slipping his hands into her back pockets in return.
She loved him too much to just let him run away. Sure, it was a terrifying thing, seeing her aunt and uncle after them hearing fun, but it hadn’t happened, or she was sure one of them would’ve been pounding on the door. Though everyone else that was on the floor with his office definitely heard them. Then again, she might need some more courage to deal with it all herself.
It wasn’t the way she was safely setting up the fire that was worrisome, it was that they were little pyros that needed watching. Okay, not really. Well, Pearl really was a pyro, but she had all the supervision she needed. As for roughing it, Pearl managed. Hell, she was getting good at doing it. But for her little get away with Hunter, she didn’t want to rough it. Not completely. She wanted to enjoy the woods and curl up in her lover’s arms. That was the way to spend the rest of the night.
While she’d never complain about him caring, she did get amused at how overprotective he could be. “Both. How about the fun way and then cuddling?” she purred, wiggling her brows as she squeezed her hands in his pockets. They might not get to s’mores but there were other days. She was really more interested in the man pressed against her than sugary treats. And rightfully so.
Curled up under the blankets she’d brought, she ran her fingers through Hunter’s hair, smiling at the way he laid with his head on her chest. Her other hand moved to brush the scars littering his back, her lower lip pulled between her teeth. They said it, they admitted how they felt, but there were still things that they didn’t know about one another, things that needed to be shared. Dark secrets sometimes needed to be brought into the light. But she wouldn’t ask, she never asked. Pearl knew that when Hunter was ready, he’d tell her all about it. And she’d share what little pain she had. Her life had been a good one, great childhood, but she’d made mistakes, plenty of them. Part of her bravery, she was never afraid to take chances she should have passed on. “I do love you, Cazador,” she murmured, the hand in his hair stilling as she reached as low as she could on his scarred back before running her fingers back up the textured skin.
Hunter was sure they could both live with the weird looks from people but there was no chance that he would live of her aunt or uncle ever heard anything. He’d have to drop dead on the spot if he came face to face with either one of them. Hunter wasn’t normally afraid of anything but her family hating him scared him.
In the end Hunter managed to kiss and hold Pearl until his limbs had decided to work again. It was like Pearl had managed to hit reboot on his brain when they had their amorous activities. He left the papers behind to do them when they got back since this little trip would be just the two of them. After grabbing any necessary items he hopped into her jeep only to hold on for his life as she drove across campus and into the woods. “My crazy girl, huh?” He had teased with a smirk.
When the jeep finally stopped Hunter gave an over dramatic sigh of relief with a small, amused smile. He followed her out of the car and walked around to help her unload. “Of course, baby.” He answered, kissing her cheek. Hunter loved fires…as serial killer like as that sounded. He made sure to bring clothes to keep himself warm and they had a couple of blankets at least. However he was unsure what else she had with her.
Hunter eyed the supplies before grabbing the tent to set it up. He called for her to be careful when she went to go look for wood. Hunter had the tent up in no time. He placed a cigarette between his lips, lighting up before setting up the rest of the supplies as one normally would. He got the inside of the tent set up and made sure the food was alright. Hunter took the cigarette from between his lips and let the smoke flow out from his nose before speaking to Pearl. “How’s the fire,Mi pequino fuego?” He asked her with a smile.
It would amuse her to see him try and drop dead if her aunt and uncle heard. Pearl just might have to give him a bit more courage in those situations, hoping to keep him from running away or avoiding her. Though she wasn’t sure the latter was actually possible. Though maybe it was, if he was away from her for enough time. But that would involve having to bring in a sub and so much more. Would he go through all that? It was a strange thought that was unlike Pearl to have.
The way he hung onto her Jeep when she drove like a madwoman made Pearl laugh harder. “You know it, baby.” She moved a hand to actually start playing the song with the same title, enjoying scaring him. “Still love me, querido?” she murmured as she turned the music up some, humming along with it.
That over dramatic sigh earned him a playful hit to the arm. Considering she was a pyromaniac, they were a perfect pair and had lots of fun with fire. Maybe that was something that they should be concerned over, but she couldn’t bring herself to actually give a shit about it. Nothing too over the top, she didn’t want him to think she couldn’t rough it. But they were supposed to be having a romantic getaway so roughing it wasn’t the goal. Though she was sure she’d already proved her ability to do with little in the wild.
Rolling her eyes at the caution, she grinned, glad her man worried over her so much. At his words, she grinned and lit it up, standing back and going over to her man. “Fiery, Cazador,” she replied,” wrapping her arms around his waist and pressing her face to his neck. “I think you need to warm me up some more,” Pearl whispered as she kissed Hunter’s jaw, her hands pressing against his back before sliding down to slip into his back pockets.
It was dangerous but also satisfying. At least both of them enjoyed that they had this power to bring the other buckling. So many things they had forgotten while lost in the dance together. Nothing else mattered to the except their flesh and the gasps and screams of pleasure they pulled from one another. It was one physical form of their love. One they had partaken in many other times but the feelings never dulled. Hunter enjoyed their similar tastes. It made it easy for him to know what to do to her to elicit a certain reaction from her. Hunter also felt that comfort of knowing her body so well.
Nothing mattered in that moment besides her. Hunter would deal with any complaints from his coworkers about the noise they were creating or the teasing from a certain professor he come to know well. Only Pearl mattered. Her screams and gasps were music to his ears and such sweet music he loved to make with her. Hunter knew her and loved it. Giving her commands like that and knowing she would do as he says. The scream she let out made him groan loudly since he could feel her coming undone he knew the sound of her scream was because of that. He vaguely wondered if she would have a voice after this. It wasn’t long until he was coming undone after her, cursing loudly under his breath. Her nails tearing into his flesh only made him push deeper and harder into her. Her name fell from his lips in soft moans as he slowed his hips down until he was still above her, trying to catch his breath and regain control of his mind. Hunter let go of her neck and gently placed kisses on his while his hand moved from between them to rest on the blanket under them, barely able to hold himself up.
And Pearl would make apologies. . .maybe. Maybe not. It might be fun to get the funny and even embarrassed looks. At least her aunt and uncle weren’t on that floor. Especially if her uncle had his hearing aids in. That would be. . .difficult to explain.
Hunter’s groans made her shiver, enjoying the sounds that he gave her, that were her doing. It was an unsure thing, whether she would be left with the ability to speak when they were finished, but it would be worth it, that was something she was sure of and thought every time. The warmth of his release following hers left Pearl moaning and writhing even more beneath Hunter. But as she stilled, she clutched to her lover, peppering his chest and neck with kisses. Words were beyond her, but some actions were still doable.
Once they were dressed and packed up, the stack of ungraded papers was left with the doused candles littering his office. Pearl pointed out that he might need them again, even if it did make his office look like a knockoff of Dr. Knight’s. Packing up her Jeep, she was very naughty and drove it across campus and into the woods, laughing the whole way. While she didn’t do it often, it was her first time to drive Hunter into those woods in particular. Pearl thought it was better to stay close to campus, just in case.
Finding a place to stop off, Pearl parked her jeep and kissed Hunter’s cheek before getting out to start unloading. “You want to do the tent while I start a fire?” What was more romantic than a little fire, emphasis on little and controlled. It was chilly and she had supplies for s’mores. Pearl set all the supplies out, letting him arrange it however he wanted while she ventured a little further into the woods, returning to start their little fire.
It didn’t matter what anyone else thought. They were doing their own thing and only their opinions mattered on the subject. Hopefully her family would feel they were good together too. It was early to think about children. She was still young and had plenty of time. So did he,really. The two of them was all they needed for right now. Maybe one day they’d get to add to the two of them. That was another thought for another day.
Hunter loved the power they held over one another. It was amusing and it delighted him seeing her under his influence. He was forgetting where they even were and what had happened before they got to where they are. Nothing else seemed to matter in that moment besides the pleasure he was giving and receiving. Moans and her name fell from his lips, pleased that she scratched, bit and pulled on his hair just as he reassured her she could do.It delighted him that she no longer worried about him not liking these things. At the end he got to enjoy her tending to the scratches and bites in a loving way just as he did when he marked her up.
They drowned in one another it seemed. Just surrounded and overcome with one another that even he hadn’t realized he had no form of protection on. Pearl’s louder screams were music to his ears along with her pleas for more. Hunter could feel himself closer to that release and he could tell she was nearing it as well. Those whimpers and growls told him so. Hunter moved a hand between them to rub at the small bundle of nerves while his other hand moved to hold her neck. He whispered against her lips how he wanted her to come undone for him before kissing her deeply and biting on her plump lower lip.
That power was dangerous, that sway, that ability to bring the other buckling under their control. But at the same time, she enjoyed it just as much as Hunter did, which seemed to be the source of the danger. So much they forgot, lost notice of, didn’t care about. The entire world, universe, had narrowed down to two forms of flesh joined and writhing in a dance of love and passion. Time had given her acceptance that their tastes were similar enough to no longer worry over such things. Pearl knew his body as he knew hers, and there was some sort of comfort she was able to take from that.
Drowned, lost themselves, gave themselves over to the other. Protection, their surroundings, any one passing by that might hear them, none of it seemed to matter in that moment. Nothing existed beyond the strong arms encircling, the fit body pressing hers to the blanket beneath them, that endowment plunging deep inside her until she couldn’t do anything but scream and gasp, trying to draw breath for the next cry. Those words, his actions, he knew her. Hunter knew how to bring her release like none other and after a few more thrusts, she gave into that command. A scream louder than any before it was pulled from her throat, scraping against the sides until she was sure that she’d be hoarse and it didn’t matter. All that pleasure was overwhelming and she needed to let it out before it completely devoured her. So she did, in ear-splitting screams, nails tearing at flesh, and the way her body pulsed and writhed around his.
It was cheesy to say for them that they were one another’s soul mates but he couldn’t help but think it. They were made for one another somehow. They just worked so well together. Eventually they would butt heads but otherwise they worked well.Hunter knew his parents would love her. As for him most likely being the one involved with her parenting he hoped he was. He was sure Pearl would be an amazing mother and he’d hope he’d be amazing in return.
Pearl could have Hunter on his knees at her feet if she wanted to just using those works. The things she did to him was amazing. She was very good at begging in Spanish and he loved it. The hard tug to his hair pulled a low moan from him. She knew it was his weakness. Hunter also loved that he could kiss her and pleasure her at the same time. He loved the similarities in heights and that was one reason why.Hunter shivered at the pleasured scream she let out. He loved that he could make her head spin and just send her into a frenzy of sorts. She definitely knew how to do the same to him. He looked down at her as he thrusted into her, loving the expression on her face, her cries of pleasure and how her body moved under him. He cursed and moaned as she scratched at his arms but the tug to his hair made him moan her name loudly.
Hunter hadn’t thought of it either. He had been so focused on her and the love they were feeling for one another. He stole her thought and reason but she did it to him in return since he hadn’t realized it either.Hunter took his chance and peppered her neck with kisses, enjoying how their bodies danced together but soon he was picking up the pace in their dance.
So what if it was cheesy? It was fucking true. They could feel it, see it, knew it. And Pearl didn’t give a shit what anyone else thought about it. Really, it was no one’s business but theirs. Pearl had little doubt about Hunter’s abilities as a father so that wasn’t something she was worried, not that she was thinking about children. It was far too early to even try to plan or imagine that. Just the two of them, that was what it needed to be.
Those were definitely words she’d be using again then, if they were that powerful. And she was glad that he could make her beg like that, make her needy and mindless. Those thrusts stole more and more of her away until she wasn’t sure where he ended and she began, what the difference was, what existed beyond the world-shattering pleasure that he was giving her. Knowing his body, knowing his kinks and desires, Pearl didn’t worry about reining in her scratching, biting, and hair-pulling. Countless times he’d told her not to apologize had finally made her stop, instead kissing and laving the marks later with her tongue.
What was one time to have forgotten? They got far too caught up in one another and she just didn’t remember what else she’d needed to do. That quicker pace had louder screams and pleas echoing through his office as Pearl seemed to dance along that edge, his generous girth stimulating her in just that way she needed to shove her ever closer to that universe-ending release. But it was just out of grip, her frustrations coming out in whimpers and growls as her body tightened around him, like the pleasure coiling beneath her navel, drawing nearer and nearer to her completion. But it felt as if it’d never come and as if it was merely a breath away.
It was amazing how well they worked together. Hunter didn’t believe in soul mates really but with Pearl he was starting to question it’s existence since he had some pretty concrete proof in his eyes. Hunter was scared but also ready to share these things with her. The fact that patience was one of her virtues was something he loved. He had learned to be patient but even he had his limit. Hunter would be the first to agree she’d be an amazing mom. Even her talking about her family he could see it.
Hunter smirked at the feeling of her body writhing under him.He groaned at the sting of her nails and his member throbbed at her hips moving harder against him.He cursed under his breath knowing she could hear him with how close they were. Hunter groaned at how her body reacted to his actions. It was something he loved about their times together. How they just worked well with one another. The begging in Spanish was killing him but her whimpered words made his length throb and him growl. He squeezed her thigh in approval of her words, definitely asking her to use it again later.
Hunter lifted his head and kissed her back in the same manner. He moaned as he felt and tasted her drawing blood from his lips.He moved his hand from her thigh and shoved his boxers off. His skin tingled at her touch and what she was doing to him. Mind blowing was definitely the best way to describe their time together. She was like nobody he’d ever had and he never wanted anyone else. The begging finally got to him so he lined himself up and pushed into her, moaning at the feeling of being inside her.He almost pulled all the way out of her before slamming back into her again, picking up a rough pace.
And it meant that they did belong together, that they were meant to find and enjoy being with one another. Soul mates were just a crock of shit, that was what Pearl had always believed. But as she looked into Hunter’s beautiful eyes, she knew the truth. He was hers, she was his, and even if they didn’t exist for everyone, soul mates existed for them. The patience was at odds with being hot headed, but it amused her at times. At least he thought she’d be a good mom, which was important given that he was most likely to be the one involved with her parenting.
Of course she could hear him, feel him, and she needed him. The way he squeezed her thigh made Pearl groan and whimper. If he wanted her to use it again, she didn’t mind, she’d use it as much as he wanted. Begging in Spanish to him was something she was good at after all. Mirroring his moan, she wrapped her arms around him, tugging harder at his hair. And being able to kiss him while he shoved his endowment into her was one wonderful thing about their heights being similar. Her scream of pleasured pain was muffled against his lips as she writhed against him, pushing her hips up harder against his. That pace had her head spinning as she struggled to breathe, to keep up with it. Only Hunter could throw her into so much pleasure so quickly. Pulling back from the kiss, she cried out, her body shaking as she practically danced and thrashed beneath him, hips twirling as one hand moved to decorate his arm with scratches, her other hand pulling more harshly at his hair.
It didn’t even occur to her, to grab her bag, to be careful. Pearl was just wanting to be with him. Sure, it was stupid, but that was what he did to her, stole all thought and reason from Pearl. Gasping, she let her head fall back as she released his hair, body thrumming with ecstasy, moving in time with Hunter’s.
“It’s a prize I love givin ya.” He purred back. Hunter liked that she didn’t strive to gain anyone’s approval. He had learned to be the same way but for awhile,as a child,he always wanted someone to be impressed with him because of all that happened. Pearl was the only one allowed to make him smile and blush like that. The only one allowed and the only one to accomplish such a thing. Hunter knew he probably hurt the girl’s feelings that or just bruised their egos if they only aimed to bed him but he didn’t care. Mostly because he knew that they knew he had Pearl. Ever since the shirt incident at least.
It was great that they supported one another and comforted one another like that. Which was why he hoped he didn’t upset her too much with the details of why he was broken the way he was. Pearl had been ridiculously patient with him when it came to his past. It amazed him how patient she was and how she never pressed him to know. It was better that way. This weekend would be best,he decided.Just the two of them to take that all in and enjoy one another. Hunter growled at the sight of her licking her lips. Another part of her body he loves and he couldn’t handle it sometimes when she licked or bit her lips.Hunter smirked and began marking up her neck, pressing his hips against her’s in return. The murmured words made him feel warm inside but her nails brought back the lust in him. He moaned as her skilled hips moved against his and it wasn’t long that he was moving with her.Hunter moved his mouth down to her exposed breasts, kissing the delicate skin before taking her nipple into his mouth and sucking gently.Meanwhile his hand moved from her hair to drag his nails along her thigh.
Not every relationship was like that, sadly. But it was good that they were. No, he wouldn’t upset her, he couldn’t upset her. It was his truth, his past, and it was a long time coming. And it was something she knew Hunter needed to share at some point. Patience was strangely one of her virtues, even if she she was a short-tempered hot head. When it came to the important shit, she was patient. There was no other way to be. And it made her think that she’d be a good mom because of it.
Feeling his mouth on her neck, she moaned, her body arching and writhing beneath his as she dragged her nails lower on his back. Rolling her hips harder against his, Pearl gasped, needing that aching arousal to just get satisfied, as only he could. Wrapping one leg tighter around him, she unwound the other from his waist and pressed her foot to the floor of his office. Hunter’s mouth on her breast had Pearl crying out, writhing even more as she rocked her hips up. Begging him in Spanish, she reached down to push the black material covering her core aside. “Por favor, Papí,” she whimpered, body shivering as that need left her dripping and whimpering beneath him.
Her other hand rose to tug harshly at his hair so she could pull his head from her neck, guiding it so she could kiss him harshly, roughly, certain she’d managed to draw blood with her teeth against his lips. Every inch of her was alive as it was every time she spent the night with Hunter, well. . .when they had their amorous activities. It was always mind blowing, destroying everything that she’d thought was pleasure before she met him. There was nothing like what he could do to her, pull from her, cause within her. “Please, please, please,” she repeated and begged, over and over and over.
“Me.” Hunter answered honestly,”Only you get that prize.” Hunter knew she loved being at the top of his class purely because it’s her favorite subject, not because she wanted to impress him.She did that without trying. Hunter would wonder what those reasons were. He knew he entertained her in class by scaring the others to get rid of the unfit ones. Hunter loved making her blush and grin like that. Just like he was sure she enjoyed seeing him blush and grin when he’d find a note from her somewhere or a little gift from her. Of course, she didn’t always get to see if he happened to find it when he wasn’t with her but even then he always thanked her. The notes and gifts always made him feel loved. It also amused him when she’d leave notes on the gifts other girls gave him which he tended to toss said gifts out since he didn’t trust the girls. Hunter trusted Pearl more than anyone.
If she ever had a nightmare he did the same for her. Hunter knew, especially with their professed love, that he had to tell her what had happened to him. Why he left being a detective behind. Tonight wasn’t the night. Tonight they were taking in this special moment and he didn’t want to bring the mood down. They loved one another so much that it didn’t matter if they lost sleep; they just needed the person they loved to be okay. Hunter was thankful for the help. He loved the jeans on her but loved them off of her more. He pulled the rest of the jeans off and tossed them aside. While she got her bra off he quickly undid his belt and pants, pushing them off of himself and kicking them to the side. Hunter paid her request, leaning in and kissing her lovingly. He moved a hand into her hair and getting a tight grip on it.Hunter would give her everything she wanted since he wanted it too. “I love you too.” Hunter chuckled back, the same goofy grin on his own lips. He wasn’t sure he’d ever be able to stop saying it. Hunter leaned in and pressed loving kisses to her neck before biting down on one spot before running his tongue over the bite mark.
“That is my favorite prize,” she purred. And it was the only prize she ever wanted. No, she didn’t actually strive to impress him, not really. That wasn’t a way to live after all, trying to gain the approval of others. Even the man she loved like she’d loved no other before. Of course she loved doing the same to him, it was only fair that she pull the same reactions from him that he did from her. And she loved that he threw the other gifts away, that he didn’t trust them, that he only trusted her. It made her happy. Outside her family, Hunter was definitely the only one she trusted as well.
Occasionally, she did have nightmares and Pearl loved when Hunter was there for her. It was sweet and it showed that they were good for one another, that they did love one another totally and completely. Not yet it wasn’t, for the moment, it was about them, their love. But later, she would never be upset with him for sharing. But she’d been patient, she hadn’t pressed, Pearl had been waiting to let him come to her, to tell her everything. And she knew it’d happen in his own time. Looking at his body, Pearl groaned, licking her thick lips as she took in his form. Returning his kiss, she wrapped herself around him, just wanting to stay with him in that moment forever. “Show me,” she breathed, a moan escaping as she tilted his head to offer up more of her smooth neck. Whimpering, she arched her back to press her hips more against his, wrapping herself around Hunter. Murmuring sweet nothings in Spanish, she gently dragged her nails down his back as she ground her hips against his, only the thin black cloth covering her core decorated her curved body.
Their makeup would definitely be something. He might really have to be sorry for his neighbors then with how loud they’d be and the items they might knock over. Hunter had worried about the two of them being hot heads. He’s seen her angry before and she was definitely a force to be reckoned with. One thing she never had to worry about was him hurting her. His words might hurt her but in any fight words hurt. If he knew what her other exes did she was right. He’d most likely hurt them very badly or kill them. Hunter never tolerates a man touching a woman like that especially his Pearl. He figured they would still be together but he’d know he can’t talk her out of staying local for him. Once she made up her mind that seemed to be it.
Hunter smiled at her. “You’re at the top ‘a my class, baby.High scores again.” He told her but didn’t tell her the little sticky note he stuck to the inside of her paper.Just a little note that told her how proud he was of her. Hunter had heard the whispers but him and Pearl knew the truth. She had been impressing him since day one. Both with her resolve and her knowledge.
Hunter may have seen her many times but she stole his thoughts away every time.He couldn’t get enough of seeing her exposed body.He had become so open to her in many ways. The biggest being during his nightmares. He loved that she kissed and loved his scars but the thing that really made his chest warm with love for her was when she held him through nightmares and stayed up with him even though she had classes the next morning. Not to mention the ordeal with his parents. Hunter breath a happy sigh of relief when she replied without hesitation. It was a first time experience for the both of them and he was over the moon happy that it was her.Hunter gave no reply as he kissed her back. She knew he’d prove it. He moaned into her mouth at the tug to his hair and knowing it was safe to he moved forward until she was on her back on the blanket. Hunter nipped at her lower lip before sucking on it gently.Meanwhile his hands worked on getting her sinful jeans off.
“I’m really glad to hear that. What’s my prize?” she joked. Honestly, she loved being the top of his class, getting to be the best in one of her favorite subjects. No, her favorite subject. And he was her favorite professor ever, for more reasons than one. Finding that sticky note would make her blush and grin like an idiot. Hell, she’d taken to hiding notes and gifts for him in his pockets, bag, desk, chair. It was fun. Hell, sometimes she left notes on his computer. Anything to let him know he was loved and adored. Sometimes, she found treats from other girls and left notes on it telling him that the Barbie skank brigade was trying to steal him.
They had that in common, the desire, the need, the love for one another and every inch of the other’s form. Her own nightmares didn’t seem to touch his. Pearl didn’t care how late it was, how early she had to be up. All that mattered was that the man she loved was okay. She’d stay up however long he needed to make sure that he was alright. When he laid her back, she smirked, returning the kiss as she helped him get her jeans off. Considering she had to hop and dance to get into them, he would need the help to get them off. When they were down to her knees, she arched her back to get her bra off, figuring he could finish the rest of her clothes on his own. Licking her lips, she reached for him, wanting him to kiss her, to touch her, to love her. All of her, just hold her close. Whatever he wanted or needed, she was happy to give him, and she knew he’d be the same. “I love you,” she breathed, a goofy smile on her lips as she looked at Hunter. It was amazing to be able to say it, to not have that fear any longer over it.
It was inevitable that they would fight but it was best they did. It’d show they were in a healthy relationship. Hunter could only imagine how they’d both be in a fight since it seemed they both had quite hot heads. Pearl herself hot headed and hard headed. Hunter could be very hot headed.Even now he knew they would get through whatever they fought about. They would figure it all out. There was many possibilities in their future. Together and separately. Sometimes he tried not to think about when Pearl would eventually leave if they were still together by that time which he hoped they would be. However,he wants the best for her.
“Ya know I did yours first, querida.” Hunter told her with a smirk. Pearl was his favorite for more than one reason. The first being how good she was in his class. She was at the top of the class. Hunter opened his arms.”Hit me with yer best shot.” He told her with a playful smile. He knew she wouldn’t do it. “I don’t always do it on purpose.”
Hunter’s smirk grew as she pushed him back slightly. He pushed the food to the side for now. “Everythin.” He growled softly, kissing her back. They wanted one another and it was very clear so this was going to happen. With them it was always a matter of when they would fall into that position.Hunter grinned as she removed her shirt and he groaned happily. “Even in candlelight ya still look sexy ‘n beautiful.” He murmured and pulled his own shirt off, tossing it where she tossed her own shirt. Hunter looked a Pearl and licked his lips. He leaned in and kissing her deeply and lovingly, cupping her face in his hands.Hunter gently pulled away but kept close so his lips brushed against her’s.”I love ya,Pearl.” He practically whispered, slightly afraid she would get up and run for it.
Even when they fought, they’d have the best makeup ever. It’d be worth it. And it’d help deal with whatever aggression they’d been harboring. She was definitely a hot head. Really, she never thought she’d be able to be with another like her. Pearl had feared being with another hot head, afraid of what they might be like together, what might happen. She’d had some bad experiences with other hot heads in the past. And it’d. . .well, she knew Hunter would hurt them or kill them if he found out the truth about her exes. If they were still together, which she hoped and figured they would be, then she might not leave, she might have to stay local to be near him.
“I know. I just like hearing you say it, mi amor.” Of course she was in the best, it was something she’d been learning on her own, for fun, before she even got into Castlewood. So she had a leg up on some of her classmates. Much as they wanted to say she was sleeping her way to better grades, her and Hunter knew the truth. Her grades were just that fucking good.
Laughing, she nodded, happy to show him all of it. Not that he hadn’t already seen it all many times over. Watching his upper body be exposed, she smirked, always feeling like it was the first time she’d seen his gorgeous body. Countless nights she’d kissed and loved on his scars, held him through nightmares, and stayed up with him when sleep eluded him. So hearing him say that he loved her, there was no way she wasn’t going to say it back. There was no hesitation as she replied, “I love you, too, Hunter.” How could she say anything else? It was the truth, and it was something she was experiencing for the first time, was happy to experience with him for the first time. “Now prove it, Cazador,” she murmured, kissing him deeply as she tugged at his hair, pressing her body close to hiss.
It was almost impossible for the two to behave themselves around one another. It was taboo but it wasn’t like they were doing something illegal. What mattered is that they loved each other, treated each other right and didn’t hurt anyone else with what they were doing. They have a healthy relationship. Hunter had thought he had to plan when to say how he felt about her but at the moment it felt right to tell her tonight.
“Until I ask them to hand in another copy.” Hunter laughed, pointing at her.”You’re lucky yours is already done, missy.” He told her. He smiled at her and shrugged. “So long as it’s just a pen and paper ‘n not somethin like a shoe then I don’t mind.” He told her. Hunter smiled at her answer. He definitely liked the sound of what she had planned for him. He did have time to do it another day. Tell the students they’d be getting their papers back a day later than usual. Hunter smirked at the glare she sent at him. “Do I?” He teased, watching her. The purr of her voice sent a pleasant shiver down his spine. He licked his lips and watched her set the bottle to the side.
Hunter happily kissed her,of course. This time he wanted more. He couldn’t help the moan that passed his lips when she licked and nipped at his neck. Yes,this was the evil woman he loves.Pearl could blame him all she wanted. “Show me more.” He purred before smirking and sucking one of his fingers again.
That wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. They loved each other, wanted to be together, it was good that they were so attracted to one another. Pearl knew they’d fight, at some point, but she also had faith that they wanted each other enough to work through it. It was healthy, and it’d be healthier with a few arguments under their belts. Pearl wasn’t looking ahead, she was looking towards what might be or what could happen. She was enjoying her here and now with Hunter and working through her degree, working to better herself. What she ended up doing with it, she’d figure it out.
“Just pass them. Make it easier on all of us,” she joked as she wiggled her nose. “I bet you did mine first. I’m your favorite student ever after all.” Rolling her eyes, she playfully reached for a shoe. “I can make it a shoe if you really, really want.” Of course, she was just teasing. Pearl never wanted to hurt Hunter. “You do. That’s why I’m sure you’re doing it on purpose, you bastard.”
Arching a brow, she shook her head before pushing him back some and climbing into his lap, careful of his food. “Everything?” she purred as she reached for his shirt, kissing him tenderly. They weren’t really ones for wasting time and she really didn’t care. Pearl wanted him, and it wasn’t like she hadn’t planned them getting there. Though she did leave her bag with goodies and such on the other side of the room. Right then, all she cared about was Hunter, his hands, lips, body. Hopefully she remembered before things got too far. Leaning back, she grinned and pulled her own shirt off, careful not to toss it into the flames.
Hunter had gotten used to tequila. It made him misbehave still but he could do that with Pearl. He loves Pearl too and was a bit afraid to tell her. He didn’t want to scare her off but he also knew unexpected things could happen that could change everything so waiting scared him too. It was understandable, being scared of moving forward in a relationship but it was better than staying stagnant when you knew there could be more. Hunter honestly couldn’t imagine how he’d be without Pearl at the moment. Well,he could but it wasn’t a very happy existence. “I love it.” Hunter murmured, watching her as she finished up with the candles.
Hunter laughed and looked at the stack of papers and his pen. The ones that were done were on the desk for now. “That’d be hard to explain to the other students, huh?” He said, getting comfortable on the floor. Hunter decided to eat first since he hadn’t realized how long it’s been since he ate. He smiled softly at the choice of food and began to dig in. “But if ya hadn’t dropped your stuff on my head we might not be here.” He reminded her with a smile. He loved watching her curl up on the blanket. He set his food down and took the stack, dividing it in half and handing her one half. “What else ya got planned for me tonight, huh?” Hunter asked, picking up his food again and digging in. Hunter was glad the power went out because Pearl was here now. Even if the power hadn’t gone out he still would have accepted her proposal of the camping trip. Hunter looked at Pearl and stuck his tongue out at her. He sucked some food off of his fingers before taking the tequila bottle and taking a swig.
It made her misbehave as well, which didn’t matter since they could get lost with one another, misbehave and do whatever they wanted. Yeah, their relationship was taboo, but it didn’t matter. She loved him, he loved her, and she was definitely old enough to decide what she wanted for herself. Waiting could definitely be worse, letting things pass by before ever getting to be together or move towards something that could make them happier than ever. “I was hoping you would.”
“I think they’d be happy,” she teased, sticking her tongue out at him. He had a point. “I didn’t say that I wasn’t happy about that, I just said I wouldn’t do it again.” Shrugging, she took another bite before taking the papers from him and setting them aside. “I could show you but we’ll never get around to these papers.” Then again, they could always do them another day. Returning to her food, she glared at him when he sucked his fingers. “You know how I feel about you doing that.” And it was a very good feeling. Laughing, she moved her food off the blanket with the papers and crawled closer to Hunter, kneeling in front of him. “Keep doing that and I will show you what I had planned, Cazador,” she purred, licking along her lower lip before taking the bottle from him.
Setting it aside, she shivered and leaned up, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips. “Understand? Or do I need to give you a better clue?” she purred, licking along the side of his neck before nipping at the skin. So much for behaving, but she blamed him for the bad habit of not using a napkin. It did her in.
“Not wine, but something else?” Hunter teased and once there was enough candles he chuckled when he spotted the tequila bottle sticking out from her bag. The candles definitely made this more romantic and it was enough to do their work and see one another. Hunter definitely felt seduced. “I will next time.” Hunter told her, letting her take his injured hand. He knew she wouldn’t let him go without her looking at it. He smiled at the gentle kiss. “Yes,ma’am.” He answered, laying his accent on thick for her. The nip to his finger made him shiver, prompting him to mutter ‘evil woman’ under his breath before kissing her back.
Hunter grabbed the bag with the food and retrieved the blanket. After moving a few things to make it more spacious he laid out the blanket and began pulling the food out, laying it on the blanket as he listened to her. “It definitely will with the two of us.” He answered, standing up and kicking off his shoes to be more comfortable. Hunter laughed when she mentioned that her siblings knew to find her at his place when Pearl was nowhere else. He returned her kiss and wrapped his arms around her. “I want ya all to myself too, darlin. It sounds absolutely perfect.” He smiled and kissed her lovingly. Pearl knew he loves nature just as much as she did so it was truly a perfect date. Besides, they first met in the woods.
“Yeah, something better.” She didn’t mind his teasing, she loved it actually. And she loved him, but she was a chicken on that front. But she’d deal with it, some day. Really, she wanted to let him make the first move. If anything could make her brave ass scared, it was her relationship moving forward with Hunter. Okay, it was a relationship in general. He was hot and smart and they had shit in common, so she’d wanted to get with him. And she’d never dreamed that things would go the way that they had. “Yeah, but I’m your evil woman. So you like it.” Chuckling, she licked his lower lip before finishing up.
As he set up, Pearl went to his desk to grab the stack of ungraded papers and his pen, her own not far from the bags on the ground. “Here, baby. I promise not to set any on fire.” Laughing, she set them down and kicked off her boots, taking a seat to start eating, tequila in hand. “So we’ll disappear into the woods and I promise not to drop shit on your head this time.” Winking, she curled up on the blanket and pointed to the papers. “Give me what you want me to do so we can get this done.” She had had some other thoughts in mind when she took the blanket after all. Pearl dug into her own food as she watched Hunter, a little bit glad about the power going out. It did give her an excuse to drag him off. Though she was sure her man would’ve been happy to run off with her anyways.
