Saw this picture:
And was overwhelmed by the powerful memory of the smell of a McDonald's cheeseburger and a strong desire to purchase and eat one. Thing is, I don't like McDonald's cheeseburgers. I don't really like any McDonald's food. I do not enjoy its taste or texture, I do not enjoy its effect on my health or my bank account or my hunger (not remotely filling), and I know all that and yet the desire persists so powerfully.
Anyway this is probably what it feels like to be corrupted by the amulet.
So it turns out I was afflicted with and ancient curse named "hunger",
You know how in slapstick cartoons, a hungry character would look speculatively at landscape features or their companions, and picture them as a dancing drumstick or a burger with eyes? You fully had that experience with those poor little stools
the “fuck canon everything is made up do whatever you want forever” approach to fandom can be fun in small doses but i find that subscribing a little too hard to that attitude can lead to this belief that serious engagement with and analysis of a text is an act of no fun self-flagellation when that couldn’t be further from the truth. analysis is literally fun

My dad is watching this historical drama and he’s like “there’s too much kissing. I thought there would be more politics” and I said “well for every person like you there’s someone else watching a political drama saying ‘there’s too much politics I thought there would be more kissing’” and for some reason that made him laugh so hard he almost crashed the car
I made slightly accurate wolf images based on that one post about loners making quotes with wolves and lions when they're the most famous pack animals ever
Feel free to use, they kinda look crap but it's okay I saw an actual lone wolf quote in COMIC SANS while trying to find pics for this
They're understanding everything
"They were a good person with good intentions and strong convictions and belief in doing the right thing. And because of that they deeply hurt people including people they were trying to protect" - is fantastic characterisation that too many people reduce to only one half of the equation
"They were a good person and people still died because they didn't put trust in anyone else" ← is so fucking good but people don't fucking appreciate it
"They were a good person and they failed. Over and over again. They failed." ← DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND HOW DELICIOUS THAT IS!?!?
I am on my hands and knees begging people to allow characters to be complex and flawed and not reduced down to "The Good Guy" and "The Bad Guy"
