I love this trophy so much

ok don't fucking speak to me about "lucky wins." for the first time in 9 years charles has a SINGLE win as a result of good fortune. but just so we're clear the only reason he was even in a position to benefit from a safety car was because of weeks and weeks of hard work on his part while the entire world called him mentally weak and talentless and a number 2 driver who should move over for his teammate. he might have gotten "lucky" with the win today, but he would have been on that podium regardless and that was ENTIRELY due to him.

more often than not he gets totally screwed over by the timing of safety cars/VSCs. he's lost races from the lead bc of ferrari strategy errors (including literally at silverstone!!). he's podiumed and won through sheer skill and willpower, keeping much better cars behind him. he's proven everything he has to. it's about time he got "lucky" like so many other drivers have countless times.
