Yeah I do get art block normally. Life gets busy and my free time with art and other hobbies gets distant… But I always crave to create something everyday

Getting inspired and looking at others art motivates me to draw. Sometimes I look back at my old pieces and it makes me want to draw something similar like that again. Being excited about creative concepts pushes me to draw too, it’s mostly inspiration

your art is stunning, it's so refreshing to see more traditional art around as a mainly traditional artist myself. I love how full your pages are and the colors and shading just AUGH!! it's all gorgeous, what mediums do you typically use?

Mostly all mediums - I treat watercolors like gouache and just thicken the paint up. I use alcohol &acrylic markers, colored pencils, ink, and lots of layering mixed with various supplies. Then I go over my pieces digitally and make small adjustments

I’ve noticed a pattern in my art. I would do one colored portrait, one sketch portrait, and draw something that symbolizes the character to cover more space. It’s intuitive for me to fill a lot in my spreads bc I like how it looks. I also use sticky notes to add texture &to make it feel collagey :]
