These lot are my friends but they treat me like Im their family. Youth club has done some great things and tried to help me loads and loads but going there and meeting these amazing people they’ve become my family, and even though they’re friends they treated me better than my own family treated me. Im forever grateful for each and everyone in these pictures and a few more that weren’t there. They’re my everything🤞🏽 my world🌍I love them more than anything and anyone in the world, obvs no matter how shit things are and can get my parents are the same❤️🌍

April is sexual assault awareness month. It’s not right, it’s far from right it’s wrong. Nobody should have to go through anything like this. Unfortunately I am a victim. Thankfully I wasn’t raped but I was touched inappropriately on my way to meet someone. I’m glad it didn’t go any further than that but it left me very scared and not able to trust anyone except people I was close with and trust already. Some people who read my story and are reading this now might be thinking, get over yourself it’s been worse for others who it has gone further for but it’s still a part of it and it could have gone further if I hadn’t managed to get away. Now I never go anywhere by myself especially in Bolton town I always meet someone or have someone with me. To some people it might not be a huge deal but to me it is. It’s been a month since it happened and it’s still somethings that’s bothering me majorly and something I can’t stop thinking about. It’s a difficult thing to go through. If you’ve been through something like I have and you feel like I do as if it’s not a bigger issue well it is and even thought reporting it and talking about it will keep reminding you what you went through the police will do everything they can to help you I promise. Please don’t keep quiet like I almost did. ~ Deets x

Scared

Being alone scares me. Being around people sometimes scares me. I scare myself. I feel alone although I’m not alone, I feel worthless even though people care. I feel stupid, oh wait I am. I cry everyday or at least every night. I want to talk to people I’m friends with but I don’t want to bother them. I can’t message anyone without thinking

“Do they wanna talk to me?”

“Am I bothering them?”

“Have I upset them?”

“Have I hurt them?”

“Have I done something wrong?”

my minds a mess and I can’t fix it. It’s like a never ending jigsaw. I feel sometimes I’m going I be alone forever like nobody deserves me. I wish I was some good to people.

Sometimes even though you have a family, you accept others as family. I love my mum and dad but recently things haven’t been the same, they’ve been pretty shit between us. And I’ve made some amazing friends at the youth club I go to and although I’ve only known them for 5 months they’re my family they’re like my brothers and sisters and I love them so much. They’ve helped me so much and I can’t thank them enough they’ve been there for me in my worst times as I’m getting worse and worse and they’re helping me get through the life I want to end.

I’m not great at English and all that but I was very proud when I wrote my first blog. It’s about my NCS experience and NCS was a 4 week course that I would live all over again if I could. It changed my life and I really would recommend you doing it if you have the opportunity. - Deets
