funnily enough her role in the story is/was supposed to be deeply important but i never did get around to elaborate on it. in the og version, louis 14 gave charles the scythe she wields in this art and bound to it was the dwaallicht remnant louise de kérouaille, indicated by the fleur de lys on it! bc she was bound so closely to charles she's actually one of the few characters who knew who murdered her b4 it was revealed, and also one of the few who knew charles was actually a woman b4 she died. thus technically yes they were lesbian together

kinda unrelated but I can't believe how victims of dog attacks are expected to immediately forgive the dog bc of its 'bad' owner (when half the time that's not even the case, a dog might have just snapped) and then we're all meant to act shocked when said victims develop a phobia of dogs. hell I've never been attacked by a dog but the way some owners are so careless abt their mongrels makes me so paranoid. the other day a little dog ran up to me and barked and barked and barked and the owner came up and pulled her away without even apologizing and all I could think abt afterwards was what would have happened if the dog was bigger
