How to NOT make fanfic authors post: "Um uhh, why no update??" "When's the update it's been forever???" etc. It makes them uncomfortable and pressured and the very thing they used to enjoy starts to become a chore for them.

How to ACTUALLY make fanfic authors post: Show them lots of love and appreciation and tell them how amazing their work is. It makes them happy and encourages them to update.

True to the results of my last poll, I am working on the last chapter of Earth Syndrome!

Over the last week, I have written and rewritten and rewritten again and I am now laying myself bare to BEG for ideas on how to finish this thing. Yes, it's still just part 1/3, but it's been years in the making and I'd love for it to "end" on a note that makes you guys want to follow it until the actual end. Do I go the road trip route, do I do angsty inner monologues, do I use a different pov entirely? What would make you the happiest?!
