You really weren´t expecting a beach trip at this hour, but it’s hard to say no to Xiaojun when he’s already at your front door.

 You sit in the sand between his legs, body pressed against his chest as his head comes to rest on your shoulder. His hoodie that you borrowed creates the perfect barrier from the slight breeze. The two of you talk quietly, and oftentimes your voices get washed out by the sound of the water crashing onto the shore. 

Eventually you both run out of things to talk about and fall into a comfortable silence. You don’t really mind, though. There’s nowhere you’d rather be than here, at your happy place with the boy that makes you the happiest.
