The tension in the elevator is so thick you can feel it weighing down on your shoulders. You adjust your grip on your bag, the palms of your hands feeling too warm. Your gaze fixes on the numbers slowly dropping lower—floor twenty-one… twenty… nineteen.
Long way to go.
You aren't paying attention to the conversation that the CEO in front of you is having with his son, until a question suddenly lands addressed to you.
"I seem to recall seeing you before. What department do you work in, Miss L/n?"
"Cosmetology," a voice quickly supplies before you can answer yourself. Youngjae saving you like usual.
Your cheeks burn in nervousness and embarrassment. You can only nod your head slightly and pray that Mr. Choi will stop staring at you. What CEO cares enough to make small talk with one of their employees in the elevator, anyway?
You've never encountered him until today. You've only heard stories of how intimidating he is; how your coworkers have had to tiptoe around him, careful to not say the wrong word. You just don't want to lose your job, especially when you're well aware there is extra on the line for you. If Mr. Choi were to find out exactly who you are, and what you're doing with his son, he might fire you on the spot. You try not to overthink.
After getting his answer, the man shifts the conversation to shareholders and company sales, and you breathe a sigh of relief. In front of you, the CEO's son shifts one step back. The elevator displays the current floor number: sixteen. A chime signals the doors opening and a few more employees step in, pushing you further to the corner. You're happy to be out of view, and hopefully, out of the mind of your boss.
"Stop being nervous. He won't bite you."
The whisper grazes your ear, barely audible. Thankfully, no one else in the elevator seems to be paying attention to your little corner. Youngjae's body is almost pressed against yours, but it is easily played off as cramming for space. His thumb tracing your knuckles would be much harder to excuse.
Perhaps the gesture should make you nervous; close contact with the CEO's son in the elevator. But it only calms your nerves instead. You nod slightly at what he said, letting the former anxiety wash away.
From floors fourteen to eight, most of the people in the elevator get off—including the CEO and his secretary who had a meeting to attend to with a new business partner. The elevator is left empty apart from you and Youngjae, waiting to reach floor five.
"That was the most stressful three minutes of my life," you say seriously, sighing heavily. Youngjae squeezes your shoulder and gives a gentle smile.
"He doesn't remember you, I promise."
You give a wary glance to your boyfriend as the elevator doors open once again and you both step out. The floor is quiet. It's still early in the day, and all the shoots are scheduled for the afternoon. Youngjae follows your lead through the corridors until you reach an empty styling room. There must be at least twenty vanities, each set up with their own makeup stations. Racks of clothes are lined up at the back. In a few hours, the room will be filled with models getting looks done in preparation for the new line launch.
Youngjae shuts the door behind you both. Alone in the big room, you can finally let down your act. You both move towards each other in sync, as if you are two magnets clicking together—a rubber-band finally snapping. Youngjae's hands hold your waist, guiding your steps until you feel the your back hit the wall.
You look up at him; hair neatly styled to frame his face, lips glossy, skin glowing. Not one detail is out of place. Right now, he certainly exudes his reputation. The CEO's son, first in line to inherit the company once his father retires. Although your job is to make models look picture perfect—hair styled, glam on point, skin flawless—right now, you can only think of how badly you want to mess it all up.
Youngjae doesn't protest. In fact, he's more eager than you are. He lets your hands wander through his hair, mussing it completely. He lets your lips find his, smudging the colour that was previously applied. And when you kiss too softly for his liking, he deepens it, encouraging you more with a squeeze to your waist.
"You look so good today," you breathe out softly, voice rasping. Youngjae kisses you once more, fleeting at the corner of your lips. Then he straightens with a smile, eyes never leaving yours.
"You think so?"
You grip his jacket in your hands, barely holding back from pulling him back to you. But you know you're running short on time. You can't guarantee you won't get carried away with another kiss, so you slowly let go and smooth out of the fabric.
"Your hair is so messy. People will notice. Come here."
You pull Youngjae towards one of the vanities, sitting him down in front of it. Pulling out a comb and hairspray from the drawer, you get to work. You're used to working on Youngjae, even though he's never been an official client. You know how to clean up your own work, hiding the perfect mess you just created. You brush out his hair, clean up his smudged lips, and straighten out his clothes until he looks exactly as he did when he entered the room.
And so the delicate secret continues. As long as you cover up your tracks, no one will know. To the rest of the world, he is Choi Youngjae, a young successor with a reputation and company behind his name. He has a legacy to continue. But in front of you, he is just yours; a secret you keep close to your heart, concealing from everyone.
┈ All they want is to be close. Quiet, cuddling… no rush. A moment just for yourselves.

┈ Note ! ꞌꞋ ࣪ Hi, this is my first time writing something for TWS, and it's just that since I met them I'm a little obsessed. And it just came to my mind how they would be like when they are feeling clingy. And being very honest with you, like Shinyu biased, Dohoon's, Kyungmin and Hanjin have me completely blushing and kicking my feet.
I also want to clarify that English is not my first language, so there will probably be several typos or it will look very formal; an apology for that. Without further ado I hope you like it and have a nice night/day.

Shinyuㅤ ❛❛ ──── ㅤShin Junghwan !
Days off were rare.
More rare than Shinyu would like to admit.
There was always something: practices, meetings, recordings, schedules full of things to do.
But not today.
Today, by some perfect alignment of the stars, the group had the day off, and they were making the best possible use of it: doing absolutely nothing.
Just the seven of you, spread out in the living room, enjoying a quiet moment while deciding what to have for breakfast.
He was leaning back on one end of the couch, his phone in hand, flipping through the menu with the others. He was barely paying attention to the discussion of what to order. It was a din of mingled voices and banter thrown into the air. You were at the other end, lounging against the armrest, with a sleepy expression that made him smile without realizing it. The dim light of the room highlighted the contours of your face, and Shinyu found his gaze straying to you more times than necessary.
It wasn't unusual. It happened to him all the time.
The conversation flowed smoothly, until Jihoon asked you to help Shinyu confirm the final order.
Shinyu barely registered the request.
His attention was on you, on the way you gently sat up to reach over and take his phone. It was a simple, everyday movement even, but for him it was enough. As if his body acted before his mind, in a single, fluid motion he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you to him effortlessly, sinking you against his chest naturally.
The contact was warm. Your body fit over his as if you had always belonged there. There was no resistance on your part, only a small initial startle before you gradually settled against him. Shinyu felt an almost instinctive satisfaction run through his body as you rested your head on his chest, letting yourself fall completely on top of him.
Yes. That was better.
He loved this. He loved you.
-Mmm… it's good like this, isn't it? -you murmured, still checking the phone.
-Mhmm… -Shinyu barely answered, his voice distracted, too focused on you to pay attention to anything else.
You confirmed the order, and the others, satisfied, scattered around the room, each minding their own business while waiting for the food. But Shinyu had not the slightest intention of moving. Not when he had you like this, perfectly wedged against him.
He could feel the rhythm of your breathing becoming slower, more relaxed. The heat of your body against his was addictive.
With a relaxed motion, he reached out to take control when Dohoon challenged him to a game of Mario Kart. Perfect. He could play without thinking too much. He moved just enough to grab the controller, but not enough to alter the position you were in. If anything, his grip on your waist became tighter, making sure you didn't move too much. Kyungmin and Jihoon joined in right away, but even as the competition began and laughter filled the room, his mind wasn't quite on the game.
Sure, his reflexes were still good, his fingers pressed the buttons as nimbly as ever, but a large part of him was distracted.
How could he not be?
He had you lying completely on top of him, breathing softly against his chest, not complaining about his grip or the way he was holding you close. Without realizing it, his hand moved, his fingers tracing small circles on the fabric of your shirt. He wasn't sure if he was doing it to reassure you or himself. Maybe both.
And then you did.
Without warning, you moved just a little, seeking more comfort, fitting better against him. It was a small gesture, almost imperceptible, but Shinyu felt it as a direct blow to the heart. A shiver ran down his back as you made yourself even smaller in his embrace, as if you were exactly where you wanted to be.
Oh.
Oh.
Shinyu barely blinked, barely reacted. His character on the screen crashed into a wall and Dohoon let out a victorious laugh, but he didn't even flinch. He just looked down, watching you with a tenderness he had no right to display so openly. His attention was on the way his own heart began to beat a little faster.
It couldn't have been more obvious. He was completely lost for you.
He let out a slow sigh, one that was lost amidst the sound of the game and the voices in the room, but which inside him echoed like a silent surrender. Because deep down, there was no point in fooling himself anymore.
It was ridiculous how much he liked this. How much he liked you.
The game went on, the others laughed and complained about unfair plays, but to him, it was all background noise. He didn't need to say it out loud, but if it were up to Shinyu, the whole world could stop in that instant, and he wouldn't mind at all.
He just needed this moment. Just the simple fact of feeling you so close was enough.
Dohoonㅤ ❛❛ ──── ㅤKim Dohoon !
Mornings always had a different rhythm for Dohoon.
They were slow, sleepy, with the warmth of the sheets still clinging to his skin and the feeling of drowsiness weighing down his eyelids. Not because he was tired-though sometimes he was-but because in the mornings he wanted you close. Closer than was reasonable, closer than others would surely consider normal. And today, with a whole day off until evening, there was no reason to hold back.
He opened his eyes heavily and, before he even thought of getting out of bed, he noticed your absence. You were gone. He frowned, still drowsy, and without even thinking too much about it, he stood up. He didn't need to ask anyone where you were; his instinct led him straight to the kitchen.
And there you were.
Standing in front of the counter, opening the bags with the coffees and drinks the manager had ordered for everyone. The morning light filtered through the window, illuminating you in an almost unreal way. To Dohoon, who was not yet fully awake, the image was too pretty, too perfect.
Without much thought, he approached you silently, shuffling his feet with the laziness of someone not yet fully awake. And then, as soon as he was close enough, he wrapped his arms around your waist and dropped down against you, hiding his face in the crook of your neck.
God, it felt so good.
Your warmth, your smell, the way you fit perfectly against him as if you were a magnet he always ended up sticking to… Everything about you was addictive to him. He closed his eyes, gently inhaling the scent of your skin mixed with that of coffee, and smiled against your neck when he felt you wouldn't pull away. You didn't make the slightest effort to break free from his grip, you just went about your business, as if you were used to him clinging to you like a koala bear every morning.
And you were.
Gently, without opening his eyes, he rubbed his nose against your skin, taking deep breaths.
There was no way he could start the day without this.
He opened his eyes when he saw your hand move, bringing your latte to your lips. He watched intently, not moving an inch from his place on your neck, as you calmly took a sip. And then, without a word, you brought the straw close to his mouth in a gesture so natural that it made his heart beat faster.
Without hesitation, he caught the straw between his lips and took a sip straight from your drink, his eyes narrowing in pleasure at the sweet, warm taste of the latte. But more than the coffee itself, what he really enjoyed was the gesture itself.
The fact that you shared with him without thinking about it.
There was something intimate in the way you shared these little things. In how they didn't need words, in how you just knew what he wanted, in how he could be glued to you without seeming to make you uncomfortable.
God. How lucky he was.
He drank some more before releasing the straw and sinking back against you, this time squeezing you a little tighter, enveloping you with his body as if he wanted to become part of you.
Your soft laughter vibrated against his chest and, without warning, you caressed his face, your fingers sliding gently down his cheek, along his jaw, a light but loving touch. Dohoon closed his eyes at the sensation, letting himself be pampered, letting you do whatever you wanted with him, because he was already completely yours.
If it were up to him, he could stay like this all day.
But then, his stomach decided to betray him.
Dohoon pouted a little, stirring against you before muttering in a low, sleepy voice:
-I'm hungry…
You just smiled, amused, and barely moved to go get your phone, surely to order food for everyone. But Dohoon had no intention of letting go.
Like a koala clinging to his favorite tree, he stayed glued to you, following you wherever you went, his arms still around your waist, his body still against yours as you tried to open the ordering app.
It was ridiculous how easy it was for him to stay that way, entangled with you even when you were on the move.
-What do you want to eat? -You asked, looking at the screen of your phone.
Dohoon rested his chin on your shoulder, watching the screen lazily. But actually, he wasn't looking at the menu.
He was just looking at you.
Stunned, completely absorbed in the way your brow furrowed just barely as you chose the food, in the way your mouth curved subtly as you read the choices. You knew him well enough to know exactly what to ask him without him having to say anything, but you still asked, because you cared about his opinion.
And that, that was what finished disarming him completely.
He snuggled closer against you, closing his eyes for a moment and letting his weight rest against your body without fear that you would push him away. Because he knew you wouldn't. Because, like him, you enjoyed this too.
If the rest of the day was going to be like this, glued to you, feeling your warmth, sharing every little moment of the morning, then for Dohoon, this was already the best day off of all.
Youngjaeㅤ ❛❛ ──── ㅤChoi Youngjae !
The day had ended earlier than expected, but Youngjae was in no hurry to leave.
Not when he could seize a moment like this.
Not when you were there, so close, so… perfect for him.
The practice room was still illuminated in the soft afternoon light, and Jihoon, as always, had energy to spare to keep dancing, moving with enviable ease as he improvised steps in front of the mirror, and Youngjae… well, Youngjae was just tired. He watched out of the corner of his eye, amused by his dongsaeng's witticisms, but his mind was elsewhere.
Or, rather, on someone else.
You were there, leaning against the mirror, relaxed, not paying much attention to anything but Jihoon. Youngjae watched you silently for a few seconds, noticing the way your expression softened when you were deep in thought, how your lips curved into a smile when Jihoon did something silly. It was nothing serious, just fun. But Youngjae wasn't particularly interested in that right now.
The only thing he was interested in was you.
He didn't know how or why, but whenever you were around, he needed to find an excuse to be attached to you somehow.
And Youngjae, he wanted you close.
He didn't have a clear reason; he simply wanted you close.
Without a word, he came over and lay down on top of you, resting his head carefully on your lap.
The relief was immediate.
And, as if you were perfectly in sync with him, you lifted your arms a little to give him space, allowing him to settle in better. Youngjae wrapped his arms around your waist leisurely, breathing deeply against the fabric of your clothes, letting your warmth envelop him. He closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying the contact, the feeling of being close to you without needing to say anything.
Youngjae sighed softly, as he listened to Jihoon's laughter, so lively and full of energy. He could hear the jokes and the silly things he was doing; And he couldn't help but smile at the scene.
But even as he did so, his mind was still on you.
It wasn't more than a few seconds before he felt your hands move, instinctively moving down to his hair. And there it was, that gesture he so adored. The brush of your fingers through her locks, the light pressure of your nails against her scalp, the slow, steady rhythm that made every muscle in her body relax little by little.
Yes. Just like that.
It was almost ridiculous how much he enjoyed this. The way your fingers ran through his hair as naturally as you breathed, in how your nails gently grazed his scalp, sending little shivers of pleasure down his back. Each caress was like a silent confirmation that he had every right in the world to be here, glued to you, claiming your attention without needing to ask for it.
He opened his eyes just a little, just enough to see you laughing at some nonsense of Jihoon's; moving in an exaggerated way just to make you smile, and Youngjae felt a pang of tenderness in his chest to see you like that.
God, he adored your laugh.
He couldn't see you completely from his position, but he could feel your laughter in the subtle vibration of your body against him. But he didn't have the energy to join in the antics at that moment. Not when he was so comfortable, not when your fingers kept sliding through his hair with a gentleness that made him sink deeper and deeper into the sensation of being with you.
He didn't need you to do anything else.
He wasn't thinking about anything else, just that.
About how it felt when he held you close, when he felt your body so close to his. All he could think about was the warmth of your body under his head, the softness of your fingers sliding through his hair, how each caress felt like a gesture of affection that he didn't ask for, but needed.
It was that feeling, that simple, genuine attention, that had him completely spellbound.
And, for an instant, he thought that maybe, if he could, he would stay that way forever.
He didn't want to move.
He didn't want that moment to end.
And best of all, you weren't even making him uncomfortable about it. You liked it. It was like a kind of silent language that only the two of you shared: you taking care of him without thinking about it, him soaking up the comfort of your company.
And he enjoyed every second of it.
But, of course, something told him that eventually he would have to get up, that Jihoon would stop his madness and the rest of the group would return to the dormitories. For now, though, as you gently caressed him, as his mind completely melted away in that warmth that only you provided, everything seemed perfect just the way it was.
It is perfect.
Hanjinㅤ ❛❛ ──── ㅤHan Zhen !
The dorm was quiet, an unusual tranquility after days filled with practices and tight schedules. Everyone was scattered around the apartment, each doing their own thing, taking advantage of the rare free time. Hanjin, however, only had his attention on one thing - or, rather, one person.
You.
You were sitting on his bed, leaning against the wall, with his Korean book open between you.
Technically, he was studying.
Technically, you were helping him.
But in reality, Hanjin was just enjoying the perfect excuse to have you around.
At first, everything had been normal. You were correcting his pronunciation, patiently explaining grammatical structures, and he was nodding, making the effort to repeat them correctly. But honestly, he was having a hard time. Not because he didn't want to learn, but because his attention was elsewhere.
On you.
In the way you spoke patiently, explaining every detail with that sweetness that disarmed him. In how your voice sounded so natural when you explained to him in Mandarin so that he would understand better the meaning of the words, so comfortable, so you. In the closeness between you, in the warmth of your body next to his, in how easy it was to be with you like that.
As the lesson progressed, Hanjin felt more and more… comfortable.
Almost too comfortable.
Everything about you had him completely caught up.
At some point in the lesson - without even thinking too much about it - he reached out and pulled you to his side, drawing you in as easily as he breathed.
You said nothing. You just let yourself go, settling against him without complaint or question. As if this kind of contact was something as natural as the air between you.
Hanjin liked that.
He felt comfortable with you.
He liked how easy it was to touch you, how easy it was to envelop you with his presence without you pushing him away. He rested his head against your shoulder at one point, feeling the warmth of your skin, the rhythm of your breathing, the simple fact of having you there.
Your warmth, your familiar scent… It was so easy. It was so easy that he almost forgot they were still studying.
And then, he felt your hand move.
Your fingers gently ran through his hair, a brief touch but enough to make him feel that you were there, acknowledging his presence, responding to his need for contact without him having to ask for it.
Such a simple gesture.
But as your hand ran through his hair, Hanjin seemed to have no intention of letting go. On the contrary, he pulled you to him more tightly, pressing you even tighter against his side. A shiver ran down his back, he liked it too much when you did that.
But then, you broke the balance of the moment with a few words.
-我去拿点吃的,我们休息一下吧 - (I'm going to go get a snack, let's get some rest).
No.
Before you could even move, his body reacted on its own. His arms around your waist tightened subtly, drawing you back effortlessly. He needed no words, only the weight of his grip, refusing to let go, as if letting you go was simply an unacceptable option.
You looked down at him with amusement. Hanjin noticed it. He noticed it in the way your lips curved just barely, in the mischievous light in your eyes, as if you were waiting for him to say something else.
And he did.
-不要,待在这儿 - (No, stay here.)
His voice was low, almost a whisper against your skin. The way he said those words, his tone soft but firm, made your heart beat a little faster.
And you… you couldn't resist.
He smiled without another word, enjoying the way you settled back in next to him.
He wasn't one to ask for things with grandiose words. He wasn't usually pushy about what he wanted. But with you, everything was different. With you, he had the luxury of being a little more selfish, of wanting more than he normally allowed himself.
And Hanjin knew what he wanted, and it was simple: he wanted to stay that way, glued to you.
-好吧 - (It's okay.)
You whispered with a smile, surrendering easily to his grip.
He didn't have to say much for you to understand.
Because, in the end, you wanted to stay that way too.
Jihoonㅤ ❛❛ ──── ㅤHan Jihoon !
After weeks of work without a break, the arrival of this rare day off had given Jihoon a much-needed respite.
He emerged from the bathroom with his hair still damp, feeling the warmth of the shower still clinging to his skin. The hot water had relaxed his muscles, but it had also left him with a drowsiness he could barely conceal. His eyelids drooped slightly as he toweled his hair dry, but as soon as he looked up and saw you in his bed, all the heaviness seemed to fade for a moment.
You were lying there, laughing at something Dohoon had said from the other bed. Your voice, your laughter, the mere sight of you there made Jihoon feel a tug in his chest.
The scene was so domestic, so quiet… That his mind had only one clear thought….
He wanted to be there with you.
He didn't think about it too much. In fact, he didn't think at all.
With lazy steps, he crossed the room and, without warning, dropped his full weight on you. Not gently, not with any warning, just with the full weight of his body, as if you were a pillow made exclusively for him.
The air left your lungs in a surprised gasp, followed by a burst of laughter as you tried, unsuccessfully, to protest between guffaws, but that only made him smile against the fabric of your clothes.
It didn't bother you at all, and he knew it.
-Jihoon -you said, your voice cracking -You're too heavy, get off! -you finished with a chuckle, patting him gently on the back. But he didn't move.
Not immediately, at least.
He just got more comfortable.
-No -he murmured in a sleepy voice, letting his arm wrap lazily around your waist, making sure you weren't going to slip away.
Dohoon, from his bed, chuckled as well, surely enjoying the scene, but Jihoon was already too comfortable to pay attention to you. His attention was completely on you, on how your breathing was still agitated by the laughter, on how your body was slowly relaxing under his. He could feel the steady beat of your heart under his cheek, a rhythmic, comforting sound that made his own eyelids feel heavier, plus the way that, despite your playful complaints, you made no real effort to push him away.
Jihoon sighed against your skin, completely content with the position he was in.
And just as you knew would happen, you ended up surrendering with a sigh and, without thinking too much about it, started playing with his damp hair.
If he wasn't so tired, he probably would have smiled self-satisfiedly. But instead, he just closed his eyes and let out a heavy sigh, completely surrendered to the gesture.
God.
It was his weakness.
He didn't need words, he didn't need anything else. Just your hand in his hair, the gentle rhythm of your caresses and the sound of your voice returning to the conversation with Dohoon as if you didn't have a whole human being lying on top of you.
He enjoyed this very much.
But he couldn't fall asleep.
He forced himself to open his eyes, though his sight was a blur of shadows and warm lights in the room. He didn't want to surrender to sleep so quickly. Not when he could stretch this moment out a little longer.
He heard your voice conversing with Dohoon, though the words became a distant echo, a soft melody that cradled him unwillingly. He felt your laughter vibrate against his chest, your breathing slow as you continued to play with his hair.
He blinked slowly, clinging to the feel of your touch, the sound of your voice, the way your body molded to his.
But it was useless.
As exhaustion overtook him more, his breathing grew heavier, slower. Every caress on his hair dragged him deeper into drowsiness, every brush of your fingers made his body feel heavier, more relaxed. He wanted to protest, to tell you to stop, that if you kept this up he was going to fall asleep on you, but all that came out of his mouth was an incoherent mumble.
And then, without being able to help it, his eyelids gave way.
His breathing slowed, his body completely surrendered against yours. In the last moment before he fell asleep, he felt the brush of your lips on his forehead - soft, fleeting, like a whisper that carried away any attempt at struggle.
He lost.
But if falling asleep meant being like this, glued to you, with your warmth enveloping him and your fingers in his hair… then maybe losing wasn't so bad after all.
Kyungminㅤ ❛❛ ──── ㅤLee Kyungmin !
Kyungmin couldn't sleep.
The rented house was completely silent. Well, not complete silence-the sound of his hyungs' leisurely breathing, mixed with the occasional murmur of Jihoon moving in his sleep, reminded him that he was trapped in a confined space with three other people.
And that was the problem.
Dohoon, Hanjin, and Jihoon, in their infinite trust, had decided that it didn't matter that the bed was clearly for one or two people at most -they would sleep there anyway.
And they had done so without any respect for the concept of “personal space.”
There was no space. Not a shred of it.
He stirred for the umpteenth time between the bodies of Jihoon, Dohoon, and Hanjin, trapped in a ridiculously small space in the bed they shared. It had been fun at first, pushing and shoving, teasing and laughing until they were all completely exhausted. But now, with Dohoon glued to the other end of the bed, Jihoon completely unconscious, one arm draped over his stomach and Hanjin wedged next to him, Kyungmin could only think of how uncomfortable the situation was.
Four people on a single mattress had never been a good idea.
And he definitely wasn't going to survive the night like this.
With slow, careful movements, he managed to slip out of the tangle of bodies without waking them. His feet touched the cold floor, and he felt a shiver run down his back as he finally stretched.
He needed air.
Space.
Something.
He ran a hand through his hair, tousling it even more than it already was, and without much thought, he left the room, dodging the creaking of the wood beneath his feet.
His steps were silent as he walked down the dimly lit hallway, his eyes still half closed from sleep as he made his way to the one room he knew he could get a good night's rest in.
Your room. Your room was the biggest room in the house, the prize for winning the chaotic game of deciding rooms.
And besides, it had become a habit. Every night, after everyone had retired, he used to come into your room, cuddle with you for a while, and then go to his. It was his little ritual. One that had started unintentionally and eventually became a sort of silent habit between you.
He hesitated a moment before knocking, but the sound was soft, almost shy. In the silence of the early morning, it felt louder than expected.
A small silence and then your sleepy voice from within:
-Come in…
Kyungmin opened the door cautiously and peeked out, finding you sitting up in bed, rubbing your eyes with one hand. Despite how sleepy you were, a smile appeared on your face as soon as you saw him. He felt your chest tighten warmly.
Without a word, he looked at you with deer eyes, silently hoping you would understand his motive.
And, as always, you did.
He didn't even have to explain.
Without saying anything, you made a small gesture with your hand, inviting him to come closer, and he didn't think twice about it.
He closed the door behind him and crossed the room with silent steps before slipping under the sheets beside you. The mattress was big, roomy, but as soon as he got into bed, he glued himself to you without thinking. His face hid in the hollow of your neck, his arms relaxed around you, and as soon as he felt the warmth of your skin and the leisurely rhythm of your breathing, his body loosened completely.
This.
This was what he had been looking for.
One arm of his fell lazily around your waist, and when he felt your chin rest gently on his head, he knew there was no turning back.
It was too comfortable.
Your hand slid down to his hair, stroking it in slow, gentle movements, and he instantly closed his eyes, enjoying every second of that gesture. He bit his lip to keep from smiling too much. There was no way his hyungs wouldn't tease him in the morning when they found him here, but honestly… he didn't care.
They would surely provoke him and make him blush with their teasing, but he didn't mind at all.
If the price of sleeping comfy and warm with you was putting up with their teasing… then so be it.

SHINYU ~470 wc
i feel like shinyu wouldn’t mind going on roller coasters but also wouldn’t be dying to go on them. he would instead want to just enjoy the day with you and hear me out.. he would definitely love the shooter rides, like the interactive ones!! i could see him getting so competitive and trying to get the highest score he possibly could!! he’s such a cutie and would try to act nonchalant but he’s really just a little geek who loves spending time with u ><
your hands gripped the fake shooter gun as you rapidly shot at the animated targets in front of you. your boyfriend, shin junghwan, had his eyes locked on the screen in front of you two—his silly competitiveness obviously getting to him.
the compact car you sat in took a sharp right turn as it faced another screen with an influx of targets shown on it.
you laughed at this, finding the kiddy enjoyment quite thrilling. junghwan on the other hand, was still fully locked in.
you looked at him with a judgmental stare, coming up with an idea that would fully throw him off.
rest under the cut!
you stretched your arms out so that they would block his sight while pretending to shoot the targets directly in front of him.
“ahhh!! yn!!” he wailed.
you just continued laughing, keeping your arms in place.
he swiveled his head left and right in avail but each time you would mirror your shooter gun in the same direction.
to avoid this, he decided to gently push you down into the corner of the moving car, but ended up underestimating how much strength he actually had in him.
you fell into the wall of the car—not a hard fall luckily—with your face only inches away from junghwans.
he wore a frazzled look on his face, dark brown eyes trailing to your now flushed cheeks and down to your parted lips.
there was no pause of hesitation, no sense of contemplation, as junghwan leaned forward and gently pressed his lips against yours.
it only lasted a short while though, with the car abruptly taking a fast turn to the left and pulling the two of you apart.
you sat there, now lowering your shooter gun and looking at junghwan shocked. you couldn’t hold in your laughter, however, as you started giggling, admiring your boyfriend’s also surprised face and missing the touch of his soft lips on yours.
he grinned with you before cupping your face and leaning in for another. but you realize this is a fake out soon after, junghwan quickly turning his head towards the screen again, a teasing smirk now present on his face.
you scoffed at this playful action of his, focusing back onto the game as well; determined to achieve more points and get payback on your all too competitive boyfriend.
DOHOON ~570 wc
i’m a bit puzzled on how dohoon would be on amusement parks for some reason like my brain is just not working in favor for him rn but here’s what i’m thinking.. dohoon would be the kind of boyfriend who would want to get matching headbands or hats or just smth like that!! and take photos together in it. as for roller coasters i think he wouldn’t really mind them and might even have some he really wants to go on. i think he would mostly go with the flow though tbh. he’d take part in planning your day out if u want but would prefer just playing it by ear in a way? honestly i’m not fully sure lmk ur thoughts.
the two of you entered the park, excited to get your day started. the classic amusement park scent hit you, sweet tooth-rotting cotton candy, buttery overly salty popcorn, and the fresh hot churros all filling your sense of smell.
the first and most important stop—according to dohoon—was the shop at the very front of the park. the one with all of the different hats, headbands, keychains, anything you could basically ask for!
he dragged you towards the store, a big grin on his face.
you entered the shop, passing the candies and bubble wands, and arrived straight at the hats aisle.
and that’s when you found them. the perfect pair of matching beanies.
beanies? yes, beanies.
you knew your boyfriend was more of a beanie person than the baseball cap type. meaning when you saw two striped beanies with a combination of your respective favorite colors, you knew it was meant to be.
he bought them with no hesitation, pulling it over your head with a cheeky smile on his face.
“perfect,” dohoon chuckles.
you two make sure to take a gazillion photos in them—it was only right! (dohoon especially remembers to mark every single moment of the day.)
and at the end of the day, you and him settle in a booth at one of the retro style cafes in the downtown looking part of the park. your adrenaline highs both coming down at this point.
he sits across from you, on the opposite side of the table. he stretches his arms out, opening his palms to take your hands in his.
you accept, entangling your hands in his and resting your elbows on the table.
“i love doing these things with you, you know that?” he says, squeezing your hands slightly.
you raise an eyebrow. “doing what things?”
he laughs, looking out the window of the cafe. “having fun dates like this, silly.” he tilts his head as if he’s thinking deep thoughts. “actually, i take that back.”
you frown, “what?”
he turns back to stare at you, grinning now. “i like doing anything with you. it doesn’t have to be something big and exciting, like this.”
you roll your eyes at his sudden change up. “okay lover boy,” you tease. his words linger your mind. you hum, “you’re right. but, that doesn’t mean these bigger dates aren’t nice as well.”
he nods in agreement. “i just think that anything would be fun, as long as we’re together.”
your face flushes, “that’s true hoon.”
the night ends calmly as you and dohoon watch the fireworks show and leave the park hand in hand, matching beanies keeping your heads warm in the breezy winds.
YOUNGJAE ~590 wc
omg i think youngjae would be so romantic at an amusement park but also be very fun!! like during the daytime he’s all excited and what not but at night he gets a lot calmer and ends up just wanting to chill out for the rest of the day. i also think he would be a roller coaster person because of those pictures he posted on weverse of him on a couple roller coasters so i think he definitely enjoys them!! on top of all of this i literally can’t get the idea out of my head of watching fireworks with him in his arms after a long day of roller coasters :(( like that makes me all 🤭
you and youngjae found a bench lining the sidewalk and sat on it, waiting for the firework show to begin.
you held a sugary churro in your hand that the two of you planned to share, ending the night off with a perfect sweet treat.
both you and youngjae’s legs were killing you guys at this point—the thousands of steps taken surely not for the weak—so when you sat on the bench, a wave of relief and calmness flowed through you. you could tell youngjae felt the same, pulling you close to by the waist and tilting his head down slightly to meet yours.
he observed your face as you took a bite out of the long churro. he did this a lot—observing you, that is. he loved watching you through all little actions or movements of yours, actually, you didn’t have to be doing anything at all and youngjae still loved watching you. it brought a sense of endearment to him, a feeling of warmth.
you met his gaze, motioning the churro towards him to take a bite.
he took a good bite out of it, some of the sugar lingering on his bottom lip. you swiped your thumb against it to wipe it off, youngjae quick to react to the touch as he lowered his head to you.
a voice rings through the speakers surrounding the park.
“the firework show will now began.”
you and youngjae turn to look at the starless sky, hearts beating in anticipation.
then, it starts.
three fireworks shoot up into the night, lighting up with a loud bang. bright colors of red, orange, and yellow radiate the dark blue sky. you turn your head to youngjae. and, quite literally, you’re speechless.
he is beautiful.
the fireworks reflect in his dark eyes, his hair appearing as soft as can be, bangs scattered around his forehead and partly covering his eyes.
you don’t know how long you stare at him like that, but it sure is for awhile.
youngjae’s eyes meet yours and he smiles, the ends of his eyes crinkle a bit.
“hm?” he hums curiously, pulling you even closer to him.
you smile. “nothing,” you say almost breathlessly, “i think you’re just really pretty.”
he giggles, and you can feel his chest move up and down as he does.
he looks at you for a moment, pondering on what to say almost. he whispers, “thank you for today. i wouldn’t wanted to spend this day with anyone else.”
you feel as if the loud fireworks are resonating through you, but that could also just be your heartbeat increasing rapidly.
“i wouldn’t want to either” you don’t have to think long before saying your next words. “i love you jae.”
he presses a tired kiss on your forehead. “i love you too yn.”
HANJIN ~390 wc
hanjin would be soo fun to be at an amusement park with!!! i could totally see him wanting to get matching headbands and taking one million photos with them lololol. also since he’s such a photography lover i could see him getting really excited after finding a photobooth and quickly rushing you to it happily!! he’d adore the photobooth strip so much too, like he would definitely have it in his phone case or hang it up on his wall. to add, he’s also such a cutie i just know roller coasters would be fun with him. i think he would love the exhilaration of it all but also be a teensy bit scared. i love this sweet boy lawdd
after a long and tiring day at the park, you and hanjin headed towards the exit; warm hands intertwined cozily.
it was a pleasant and peaceful moment as the two of you stayed close together in the crowd of people—who were also trying to leave the park—until you heard hanjin exclaim in.. shock? excitement?
he quickly dashed out of the swarm of people, pulling you along with him. (not forgetting to say sweet ‘excuse me’s’ to the people you passed through, of course.)
you were dragged along in a daze of confusion until you realized why he’d done it. there was a bright, glowing photobooth that stood out in the gloomy and dark night.
the two of you stopped in front of it and hanjin turns to you with a wide smile on his face, eyes reflecting the shine of the booth.
“can we take some photos?? please yn?” he stresses his plead.
“why would i say no?” you giggle while ruffling the front of his bangs. “let’s go hannie!”
his hand still in yours, he pulls you into the compact photobooth and discusses the poses he wants to do (this was a very serious matter to him), paying and doing the set up on the screen at the same time.
you just nod at his words and observed the way he looked in the moment. he was happy, so very happy.
the two of you took the photos and rushed to exit the booth afterwards in pure excitement to see how they came out. and with no surprise, they came out perfectly.
he giggled at the sight of the photo strip. “i love it,” he turned to you, looking happier than ever. he continued, “and i love you even more.”
JIHOON ~450 wc
oh boy, oh boy, this silly guy would be so fun to be at an amusement park with. i personally think he would be a roller coaster person but idk for sure. but!! i see it as him being one to drag you from ride to ride because he has so much he wants to do and he’s so excited to go on them with you especially. he would make not even a second of this day dull!! like his energy would be thru the roof all day long and then maybe, just maybe, in line on the last ride you two have decided to go on, he might rest his head on your shoulder and start to get tired. just maybe though. (also i think he would be the one to wear the bag all day. lowk all the members would do that tho.)
jihoon collected your shared bag full with your things after getting off of the ride and the two of you quickly rush out.
he takes your hand in his. “that one next, right?” he gestures to the roller coaster across from you.
“sure, let’s go!” you beam, and the two of you begin walking towards it, a sense of pep evident in your step.
—— later !
jihoon and you have been on rides back to back, screaming your hearts out in joy and posing for the pictures (the poses so far have been peace signs, kissy faces, and deadpans; a few extra miscellaneous ones added into the mix as well).
the sun has fully set, leaving a beautiful dark blue painting the sky and a chilly breeze covering the park.
you and jihoon approached your final, last ride of the night—basically gone through all of the possible attractions you guys could. you walked through the railings and caught up with the line.
all day jihoon had shown no sign of exhaustion, until now, that was.
he hooked his arm into yours and laid his head on your shoulder. you admired his features, your tender gaze hovering over him.
“you tired?”
he’s quick to shake his head.
“no, just need to recharge.” he hums, “you’re like, my charging station, you know? i’m the phone and you’re like… a charger. a charger specially for me—only me.”
you snort at his metaphor. “somehow.. i understand what you’re saying.”
he looks up at you, smiling warmly.
“of course you do, my charging station.”
you meet his eyes, mirroring the same smile as him. “pfft okay then, my iphone.”
the two of you end off the day, holding hands on that last roller coaster and getting ice cream before leaving the park. on the way home, you and jihoon reminisce your exhausting, but fully worth it day.
KYUNGMIN ~430 wc
stop kyungmin would also be so fun to be at an amusement park with. these type of interactive dates would be so fun with him!! okay so i think kyungmin would say he isn’t scared of the roller coasters and on the way there he’d be like “nahh i’ll be fine those are lightwork.” but when you two actually get there and are about to go on the ride he’s actually scared. like very scared. but it’s okay cause you’re there so he’s not terrified at all! (truly though, it’s his pride that won’t let him back down.) ughhh i love kyungmin
you and kyungmin enter the park full of enthusiasm and energy. without thinking much about it, you bolt together to one of the closest rides, trying to make use of the current short wait times.
there’s basically no line as you enter the loading area and are directed to a row of the coaster. oh wow! it also just so happens that the two of you are directed to the very front row. what a fun coincidence?
you were beaming with happiness at this point—the anticipation killing you—but to your scaredy cat boyfriend, something else was killing him.
a sense of fear.
kyungmin took your arm into his hold. “yn um.. is this ride one of the more.. tame ones?”
you stared at him a bit confused. “no kyung, it isn’t really.. why?” you had assumed this whole time that he was a huge roller coaster person just as you were since he’d been reciprocating your excitement all this time. now that you think about it.. he never said he loved them.
he chuckles, but it comes out in a quite nervous tone. “nothing! it’s just..” his eyes wander around, as if searching for a reason. “i was just wondering since i wanted to, um, go on one of the more extreme ones first!”
he cursed himself internally for letting his pride get to him and not being able to confess the truth.
you gave him a doubtful look and opened your mouth to respond—but got interrupted as the gate to the coaster opened. you gave kyungmin a reassuring smile and guided him through the gate and into the seats. his palms a bit sweaty.
the ride goes by in a flash and you hold kyungmin’s hand the entire time (aka his hand was strongly gripping yours the whole time).
after, the two of you exit the roller coaster.
“so.. what’d you think?” you asked him.
he was in a daze, almost. he starts, “that..”
you hold your breath.
he beams, a lopsided smile plastered on his face, “that was amazing!”

Oh! A got7 reaction to you flinching during an argument! Or any group you’d like! I Stan them all
Im Jaebeom
After about an hour or two of constant yelling and screaming at each other about the pettiest of things like not spending time together, did he only become more frustrated. He knew you didn't mean it either, you were tired and stressed and just wanted to be by your side, as much as he did for you too. Out of anger and frustration, Jaebeom ran his fingers through his dark locks as he took a long sigh. You didn't really know why, but it was probably due to you being so worked up that the moment his hand raised to touch his hair, you flinched and took a few steps back. Jaebeom happened to notice the steps you took back and he felt his heart break at the sight. He was hurt as much as he was confused.
"You don't think-," He sighed, trying to figure out the right thing to say, "Do you really think that I'd do something like that?
You felt terrible, you knew that he would never hurt you so you don't know why you even flinched in the first place, you hated yourself for making him doubt himself for that split second. You couldn’t help but let the tears fill your eyes as you shook your head aggressively, “No! Not at all! I don’t know why I did that. We w-were just so angry and I don’t know!” You covered your face with your hands and Jaebeom sighed, pulling you into his embrace as he kissed the crown of your head, gently rubbing your back.
“I’d never do that to you, Y/N. Ever. You know me better than I know myself, silly,” He’d whisper into your ear as he held you tight, regretting the fight that happened in the first place.
Mark Tuan
The two of you had been arguing for what felt like hours and no matter how hard you tried to stop or he did, one of you would always come back with a comment that stirred the other. Originally Mark was meant to join you on a trip for the weekend because of a family member's wedding. However, unfortunately he wasn't able to get the time off and his work had only notified him today that his request had been denied. From all your pent up anger and frustration you had begun to tell him and told him that if he didn't want to go in the first place, he should have told you instead of doing it on purpose and waiting so long to ask for a vacation.
Out of frustration, Mark had thrown his hands in the air. You yelped and flinched, slightly cowering away. Heart pumping fast, Mark stared at you with guilt laced in his features. He knew of your past and what had happened before you two met and he hated himself for thinking so carelessly in that moment.
“Y/N!” He hissed out, hurt and shocked all at the same time. “I would never do that, I’m not him.”
You slowly wrapped your arms around his waist and hummed. “I-I know, I know you're not. I’m sorry.”
“You don't need to be, baby. I'm sorry too,” He murmured.
Jackson Wang
“Can you please just stop for a second!” Jackson bellowed, gripping on to your arms. It wasn’t tight, it was gentle despite the frustration you were both feeling. You saw another woman drop him off at home today that you didn’t recognize as his manager or part of his company and you couldn't help but think of the worst as you flipped at him.
You had spent the last five minutes stomping through the kitchen, accusing him of cheating on you and having the audacity to let the woman drop him home while banging the pots and pans you were pulling out to make yourself dinner. Jackson had grabbed on to you to keep you from banging more pans and to have you stop and let him explain. However, you had tensed and immediately tried to push him away.
“Let go! Let go! Don’t touch me! Don’t!” You shouted, eyes squeezed shut and tears spilling over. Jackson immediately let go, stepping back and giving you your space before he fell to the floor, hugging your middle as you sobbed. He didn’t know what was going on or what had happened.
It seemed you two had much more to talk about than the new manager he had just hired today.
Park Jinyoung
“All I asked was for us to have a nice dinner tonight and you couldn’t even come back on time for that!” You shouted in anger at Jinyoung, who was growing increasingly frustrated at the argument that was going on between the two of you. He had come home late from work, again. He couldn’t help that the shoot had run over, but he also couldn’t just leave. It was his job and you knew that.
“You were probably with her!” You accused angrily and he scoffed, bringing his hands up to run them over his face. You flinched in confusion as you held your breath, staring at him with wide eyes full of fear.
“God! How many times do I have—Y/N? Y/N, what’s wrong?!” He took a step closer to you but you took one back.
“D-Don’t come near me,” You struggled to get out. Jinyoung felt his heart crack a little, but stayed where he was. His dark eyes bore into yours.
“I would never hurt you, Y/N. There is no reason for you to be scared of me," He said as he held his hand out for you to take.
Choi Youngjae
If there was anything Youngjae hated in this world it was when you gave him the silent treatment. When you didn’t even want to scream and shout at him, it wasn't worth the fight in your opinion. So that's when he knew he really messed up, “Y/N, please! Just talk to me!” He whined, throwing his hand out to grab your wrist. You flinched almost immediately, taking a step back and swinging your arm up to your chest and holding it there.
Youngjae frowned, looking at you in disbelief, “Did you really just flinch?” He questioned to which you didn’t say anything at first, only glaring at him, “You know I would never do that, Y/N. Ever," His words came out harsh but you knew that was only because he was hurt. Sighing, you scrunched your eyes tightly and lowered your arm.
“I know. I don't know what I was thinking. I didn't mean to upset you like that and make you feel any different about yourself."
BamBam
One thing you absolutely hated more than anything in the world was fighting with BamBam. You two rarely fought and were pretty good at being able to communicate calmly when the other had done something to upset or frustrate the other. Today, however, you had a long day at work and your patience had run out. All you had asked BamBam to do was run to the store to pick up the ingredients you needed for dinner with your parents which was in a few days.
“I’m sorry, Y/N! I had a meeting at the company today and I haven’t had time to go! Why is this such an issue?!” He threw his hands up and froze when he heard the sharp intake of breath from you. Your hands were slightly trembling and immediately he felt stupid for doing that. He knew of your past relationship and how there were still certain things that triggered you, especially when you were consumed with emotions.
“Hey, baby,” He said, walking towards you slowly. You stared up at him with glossy eyes, “I’m sorry, love. I’m sorry. C’mere," He opened his arms and waited for you to walk into them. You did—slowly—but you did and he sighed in relief once you did.
“Go shower and we can go to the store together, okay?” You nodded and kissed his cheek, apologizing for being so mad. He only smiled at you and lightly smacked your ass.
“All is forgiven. Now go clean up so I can dirty you later," He teased, to which you chuckled lightly. He had a habit of trying to make you laugh after situations like these.
Kim Yugyeom
Yugyeom was staring at you in shock. One minute the two of you were yelling at each other, then the next you were pressed against the wall and staring at him as if he was some kind of monster. All Yugyeom had done was raise his hand to pull open the cabinet, but you had panicked and screamed at him to stop as you pressed yourself against the wall. Like you were trying to get as far away from him as possible.
Your relationship was fairly new, you had yet to tell him about your childhood, about your parents. He had no idea. You stared at him with teary eyes and took a few deep breaths before you spoke. “I-I’m sorry, I t-think we should talk,” He didn’t move towards you, but he didn’t back away either.
"I don't really know what to say right now," He sighed, playing with his hands," But when you’re ready to talk about it, I’ll be on the couch.”
Prompt: “Don’t go that way.” - #7 for Idea Starters
Word count: 1076
“I need some directions.”
You should have just asked him for an autograph. That would have been quicker than this. What had you been thinking?!
To be fair, you weren’t thinking at all.
“So, there are two alleyways to head down,” he continued, and you were surprised you were able to hear the words coming out of his mouth and that they made sense to you. Well, some of them, because now he was still talking, and you had no idea where he was in the grand scheme of his directions. He paused, frowning for a moment. “Don’t go that way.”
“Huh?”
He smiled softly. “Down to the very end of that street. There’s a shortcut.”
“Next to the bakery,” you confirmed with a sharp nod. “Got it.”
The man frowned. “I didn’t say about the bakery.”
Damn it.
You really should have gone with the autograph now.
But his face had lit up when you hadn’t approached him walking his dog asking about his fame. His dark eyes had turned decadent warm chocolate, and his hand gestures excited.
You had treated him like anyone else on the street when you had asked Choi Youngjae for directions.
And he had appreciated more than you had expected.
Picking up Coco as she started to yap impatiently at his heels, Youngjae cocked his head to the side. “You already know the way there, don’t you?”
“Would it annoy you if I did?” you asked tentatively.
Youngjae’s wide smile curved up his mouth, and soon his hearty chuckles let loose. Right in front of you. In person.
You needed to get a grip on yourself before you turned into a squealing fan.
“That was clever.”
“It was the first thing I could think of. Surprisingly more so than ‘can I have your autograph?’. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have fooled you.”
“Just to get me to talk to you more?” he wondered, taking a step forward. You wondered if that was an invitation for you to follow suit.
You hoped to God it was.
Falling into step at his side, you nodded and shrugged at the time same. Youngjae laughed again. “It’s okay. I’m not offended. Curious, though.”
“About?”
“Why, out of all places in this area, you asked where to find the closest dispensary.”
“Oh,” you replied, feeling flushed. “That.”
“You’re not unwell, are you?” Youngjae asked, concern etching his expression.
If you didn’t admire the idol before, you sure did now.
“Actually, I work there.”
“Sly move,” Youngjae announced with another laugh. “Ensuring I know where you work, uhh – sorry, I didn’t catch your name.”
“I didn’t tell you it.”
“That was a perfect segue into telling me, though. I mean, you know mine.”
“Doesn’t a lot of people?”
“You’ll be surprised how unnoticed I go on the streets. It’s this one that makes everyone put two and two together,” Youngjae admitted, nodding his head in the direction of the infamous Maltese he held.
Your lips twitched. He was onto something there. You had figured it was the singer by his dog. Especially when he had scolded Coco for walking around the other side of the lamppost and getting the lead tangled when he called her back.
“Y/N. That’s my name.”
“Y/N, the pharmacist,” he said, rolling your name around on his tongue like it was something special.
You bit your lip to suppress the giddy giggle pressing up your throat. “I’m sort of an intern, though.”
“An intern?”
You nodded. “I just started working there two weeks ago. Not long graduated with my degree. You remain an intern for a year before gaining the full pharmacist title.”
“That will explain why I haven’t seen you in there before. This is my neighbourhood, after all.” He then eyed you cautiously. “Wait. You’re not going to—”
“Gosh, no. You know where I work now. That could complicate both of us,” you hastily pointed out, and Youngjae relaxed again. You smiled weakly. “Besides, you won’t see much of me. I’m normally out the back, running about for the senior pharmacist. I only see the front of the dispensary when the owner takes her break at two.”
Youngjae stopped walking, turning to face you. He smiled warmly. “Well, Y/N, the intern pharmacist, it was nice walking with you. Here’s the bakery turn off, so I’m sure you can make the rest of your way to work now, right?”
You nodded. “Thank you for escorting me and not seeing me as completely ridiculous for my weird reaction.”
“Not at all,” Youngjae replied with a wave, softly encouraging Coco off back the way you’d come.
Staring after him for just a moment more, you smiled. You didn’t believe in special encounters, but the one you’d just had with Youngjae had revitalised you. The last few arduous months had come into fruition now.
A full-time job, and Choi Youngjae’s handsome face in the flesh.
You all but skipped into work.
“I’m going on my break now, Y/N. Can you watch the front for me?” the owner Yelena asked, and you stepped out from the back with a nod.
You liked serving the customers. It gave you a chance to practice what you had learned in your degree when you gave out advice on what was best to take for certain ailments. You also got to know some of the regulars, and frankly, anything was better than attempting to chat with the senior pharmacist. He was polite where needed and silent there otherwise. At first, you had thought it was just you, but he was the same with everyone.
The doorbell chimed as the sliding doors opened, and you turned from restacking some stock that Yelena had left for you to do, your mouth falling ajar.
Youngjae grinned, looking curiously at some of the display items as he made his way over. Of course, since this was his neighbourhood, he’d come here for any health need he might have.
He wasn’t here because of you. Right?
“Two-ten,” he said suddenly, looking a little bashful as your expression narrowed with confusion. “I didn’t know if the break was a lunch one or just a quick one, but—”
“You came here to see me?”
“Well, I did come for a reason,” Youngjae mentioned, and you nodded, trying to rein in the fan inside of you. This was your professional environment.
