âYeah, seems like it. The people living here certainly donât seem botheredâyouâd think theyâd be less used to this if this was new,â Light didnât bother to comment much on his attireâsheâd found herself wearing a lot of strange things herself and after all, he was a new arrival. Income was something long lost to her due to circumstances, but she could figure well enough there was a good reason for thisâunless he was trying to assert his position somehow.
She herself at least had some time to at least grab an outfit that wasnât one of the garbs sheâd come in with, and didnât seem to gain that many stray glances. She glanced over at the other people at the door, their gaze averting at her eye contact.
âNot too long myself, long enough to see thereâs been a few of those eclipses and thereâs really capricious beings here. Keep your wits about you.â Her gaze turned extra stony as she addressed Leon.
â did you say â a few â of the eclipses? you mean thatâs a normal thing? jesus... â the mark of disbelief breeds easily across his features; brows furrowing further than they already had as his voice trailed off in thought. the door to the gym shifted and people began filing inside, the trainer who beckoned them in offering each of the passing folk an almost judgemental look. â maybe iâll see you inside.â leon added, as they lined up to enter the building. the trainer nodded towards lightning, but as leon approached the door he lifted a hand. â new here? youâll need paperwork before you can use the equipment. name? âÂ
â leon kennedy. â he answered, unafraid of the intense staring the man was giving him, as if that stare was seeking to burn right into his very flesh. â you got any clothes here? canât exactly work with this. â but he was only half paying attention now, instead his gaze following the woman he had been speaking to before she vanished into the ladies changing area.
â she a regular? â â if she wanted you to know, sheâd tell ya. move along, romeo. thereâs clothes in the back. â â fair enough. thanks. â
and so he walked on through, pushing aside the door to the menâs locker room to the potent stench of body spray.Â
