Ayye so what's your excuse for your blatantly racist comment?
itâs not racist, i never once said a racist slur or said something based on a race so? The pictures supplied are of women fighting police officers who are doing their jobs idiots, end of discussion, I never said anything âracist.â Violence against innocent police officers is not how you solve a problem.
Hmmm where do I even begin? So violence against innocent people isnât cool, yet violence against innocent black people is? If Iâm not mistaken, the civil rights movement attempted non-violent protests repeatedly, which led to The Freedom Riders being attacked and murdered, The Sit-in Participants being attacked and murdered, in fact, the Souther Poverty Law Center has a whole section dedicated to martyrs of the civil rights movement, several of which were murdered by law enforcement. If you actually believe fighting back against an oppressor, especially oppressors armed with water cannons, tear gas, riot shields, batons, and pistols, is somehow âwrongâ youâre part of the problem. And on to the racist part, willingness to submit to, support, or approve of a clearly racist system (i.e. All of America, hit me up if you want links for that) whether youâre a police officer enforcing it or a poorly misinformed (or stupid) person like who supports it, that makes you a racist, and worthy of zero respect.
I promise myself not to get involved here, but Iâm going in apparently,
Firstly, weâre not talking about someone dropkicking a police officer who is trying to stop them from drink-driving here. Their job was brutally enforcing legalised racism.Â
But on a point questforsims hasnât already explained, letâs briefly talk about the actual content of the pictures in that tweet.
The first, obviously, is a woman punching someone whose job was brutally enforcing legalised racism against her. We have established some people apparently donât approve of this. Letâs move on.
In the second picture, Gloria Richardson is pushing away a bayonet pointed at her by a member of the National Guard during a protest.Â
And the third and fourth pictures are of women standing. Like, literally standing. That is all they are physically doing.Â
I mean ???
Herâs is better
