Because of the indian autistic kids who grew up being berated for not being able to eat their own cultural food.

Because of the black people whose sensory issues with spice stop them from being able to feel "truly" black, or black "enough".

Because of the korean autistic people with arfid who feel ostracized from such a crucial bonding activity with family because spiciness is too much for them.

Because of all the people with sensory issues, arfid, ibs or other conditions that give them trouble with spicy food, who feel ostracised and alienated from such a crucial part of their culture.

yeah doing research on disabilities and talking to doctors is great but i really don't have time to have hashimoto's or fibromyalgia right now. i'm busy with my several other disabling physical and mental conditions. i want to talk to doctors because i feel like there's something going on other than pcos but im so busy rn that having additional illnesses feels like a liability
