we Didn't see his corpse in the water, so there's that... but the two white bags floating & his missing body is so ominous + his body was paralyzed, so if baekjun took him out the water he was at his mercy anyways. the drugs don't make you incapable of living, it just does smth to ur serotonin (god, someone license this so we don't have to rely on chopped mtl) so the only way to silence him was killing him 😭

this is obv v bitter/sweet, but i really like that they're further making distinctions between their reincarnations. the soul may be the same, but everything else is completely different. & they couldn't have been mother & son again if they weren't both reborn anew.

despite being situated in different genres, both are dear & close to my heart bcus they feature characters that went through shit that irrevocably changed their lives (for the worse. way worse) & are just trying to live a normal life afterwards with the help of their partners who have endless patience & love for them 🫶🏻
