Oh my god, this is my first post! I'm nervous because I'm new to posting fanfiction on Tumblr. If you see any mistakes, please let me know. Like I said, I'm new to this site, so I hope you like it!, I apologize for any spelling mistakes; English is not my native language.
A - Affection: He is subtle and a bit shy in public due to his reputation as a government agent, he limits himself to holding your hand firmly or keeping a hand on your lower back, BUT in private, he becomes much more physical, he loves burying his face in your neck while hugging you from behind, sighing deeply as if he could finally drop the entire weight of the world off his shoulders.
B - Boundaries: Leon respects your space completely and will never pressure you to talk about something that makes you uncomfortable, however, he has his own boundaries too, there are "forbidden zones" in his mind related to Raccoon City or the U.S. government, he doesn't like being pushed when he retreats into his thoughts, he prefers you to just be there by his side, waiting until he decides to speak on his own. With time, he might share some of what happened in Raccoon City.
C - Comfort: If you are having a bad day or crying, Leon immediately goes into "emotional rescue" mode, he won't give you a long motivational speech, but he will sit with you, wipe your tears with his thumbs with incredible gentleness, and make you a warm cup of coffee or tea, he will stay there holding you in silence for as long as needed, reminding you that you are safe, he is a sweetheart.
D - Domestic: His daily life at home is heavily influenced by his training, he is impeccably neat, his civilian clothes are perfectly folded, the kitchen is left spotless after use, and he likes to keep a clear inventory of the pantry, he thoroughly enjoys mundane tasks like washing dishes or vacuuming, as that boring normalcy is his greatest fantasy.
E - Emotion: It's hard for him to accept how much he loves you because love scares him, in his line of work, caring for someone is equivalent to giving his enemies a weak spot, he has seen too many people die or turn into monsters, at the beginning of the relationship, he might seem a bit distant or hesitant about committing completely, so he requires a lot of patience on your part.
F - Fights: It is almost impossible to make Leon yell at you or lose his temper, if there is a serious disagreement, he will remain remarkably stoic, arms crossed and listening, if the tension gets too high, he will tell you in a soft voice that he needs to go for a run or get some air to cool off, when he returns, he will sit at the table ready to resolve the issue in a mature and logical way.
G - Gifts: Forget about giant teddy bears, leon’s gifts are practical and thought out for your daily well-being, he might gift you a high-quality leather jacket identical to his so you don't get cold, a tactical alarm keychain, or notice that your car's windshield wipers are worn out and replace them with new ones without you even asking.
H - Honesty: Leon is clear as water with you, he doesn't know how to play mind games or sugarcoat painful truths, but that same honesty makes his compliments the most real things in the world, if he looks you in the eye and tells you that you are the best thing that has ever happened to him, you can be one hundred percent sure he means it with all his soul.
I - Identity: Seeing Leon without his agent "armor" is a massive privilege, outside of work, he stops meticulously styling his iconic bangs (haha), letting it look messy and natural, letting you see the subtle dark circles of his chronic fatigue, his combat scars on his shoulders, and his expressions of genuine vulnerability in bed is his way of telling you that you are his only safe home.
J - Jealousy: Leon trusts you completely, but he does not trust the rest of the world. If he notices someone is making you uncomfortable or flirting with you aggressively, he won't make a scene, he will simply walk up to you, wrap his arm around your waist with quiet possessiveness, and stare down the individual with the cold, sharp, lethal glare of a man who has taken down global bioterrorist threats.
K - Kisses: His kisses are soft, lingering, and convey a deep sense of relief, he loves giving you quick kisses on the forehead or cheek before heading out the door for a mission or a meeting with the president, saving the deep, slow, and passionate kisses for when he returns home and can lock the door behind him.
L - Loyalty: Unwavering and absolute, once Leon falls for you, you become his number one priority over any government order or sense of duty, he would move heaven and earth, hack systems, or face his own agency if it guaranteed you would be safe from any danger.
M - Mornings: He wakes up very early due to his military body clock, often before the sun rises, instead of getting up right away, he will stay lying on his side watching you sleep for several minutes, gently brushing strands of hair away from your face and enjoying the sound of your peaceful breathing.
N - Nights: He suffers from bouts of insomnia and recurring nightmares caused by the PTSD of his missions, it’s common for you to wake up in the middle of the night and see him sitting on the edge of the bed or walking around the house in pajama pants, double-checking the locks on the windows and doors before he can calm his mind.
O - Overprotective: This is his biggest flaw in the relationship, sometimes it’s hard for him to switch off his survival instinct, when walking down the street, he will always make you walk on the inside of the sidewalk, in a restaurant, he will choose the table with a direct view of the emergency exit and discreetly analyze every person who approaches you.
P - Patience: He has infinite patience and a very teaching nature, if you want to learn how to shoot to feel safe, change a tire, or even cook a complex dish, he will take all the time in the world to teach you step-by-step, celebrating each of your small achievements with a genuine smile.
Q - Quality Time: His ideal date is not at a loud club or a fancy gala dinner, for him, the perfect quality time is shared silence in the living room: you wrapped up in your hobbies (reading, exercising, or working) and him sitting next to you on the couch reading a book or simply with his head in your lap, enjoying the simple peace of your presence, of course he will take you to upscale restaurants, but he prefers being with you at home.
R - Romance: His romance is very unconventional but deeply tender, don't expect handwritten poems, but you will find sticky notes on the bathroom mirror wishing you a good day, your car with a full tank of gas thanks to him, and simple yet delicious dinners waiting for you on the table when you get home late from work.
S - Support: Leon is your unmovable rock, no matter how silly or small you think your work or family problem is, he will turn off his phone, lean forward, and listen with his full attention, he will validate your frustrations and help you strategically break down the problem to find a solution together.
T - Touch: Since he is not a man of grand speeches or poetic words, physical touch is his primary love language, he likes to maintain a constant physical connection when you are together, resting his hand on your thigh while driving, intertwining his fingers with yours under the tableresting, or brushing his feet against yours in bed.
U - Understanding: Having lived through unimaginable trauma, Leon is the least judgmental person in the world, if you have irrational fears, insecurities about your body, or anxiety attacks, he will never make you feel silly or dramatic, on the contrary, he will wrap you in his arms and remind you that it is perfectly okay.
V - Voice: His tone of voice changes drastically when he goes from giving orders to talking to you, in the privacy of your home, his voice becomes much lower, deeper, and slightly drawn-out, losing all military tension, he will speak to you almost in whispers in your ear, using an incredibly peaceful tone that has the instant power to calm your nerves.
W - Wild Card: Behind his serious facade, Leon has a highly sarcastic and ironic sense of humor (just like in Resident Evil 4). If he feels completely comfortable with you, he will drop terrible dad jokes or sarcastic remarks with a completely straight face, just to see if you are paying attention and to make you laugh (though you usually just stare at him blankly because you didn't get the joke).
X - Xpressions: Leon learned to communicate a lot through his gaze due to years of not knowing how to express himself, you will know exactly what he is feeling just by looking into his eyes, they become noticeably softer and brighter when he watches you smile, but they turn dark and narrowed if he is exhausted or worried about something from work.
Y - Yearning: When he is deployed on classified international missions that last for weeks or months in areas with no cellular service, he has a really hard time, he carries a physical photo of you tucked into the inner pocket of his vest, or in his wallet, right next to his heart, looking at it at night is the only thing that keeps him sane and motivated to come back home.
Z - Zzz: Your presence is the only effective sleeping pill for his hyper-vigilant mind, Leon can only fall into a deep and truly restful sleep if he has you held tight against his chest or if he feels your body heat nearby, your rhythmic breathing acts like a switch that turns off his mental alarms, allowing him to truly rest.
