Deja Brew: Feeling you've had this coffee before

Coffee is serious. You know what I mean. Do you find yourself thinking, as you stand in line: "It is inhumane, in my opinion, to force people who have a genuine medical need for coffee to wait in line behind people who apparently view it as some kind of recreational activity. I bet this kind of thing does not happen to heroin addicts. I bet that when serious heroin addicts go to purchase their heroin, they do not tolerate waiting in line while some dilettante in front of them orders a hazelnut smack-a-cino with cinnamon sprinkles." Yes, coffee makes us severe, and grave, and philosophical. So much that a mere painter-gone-barista needed a way to tell the world what -really- happens with the power of COFFEE. That any power in the world were as nothing compared to espresso, cappuccino, and mocha, which are stronger than all the religions of the universe combined, and perhaps stronger than the human soul itself!.....?

"One of the unintended consequences of our criminal justice system is that families get broken up. Children are often hurt, through no fault of their own, by the actions of a parent. When a parent is incarcerated, it becomes almost impossible to have a normal relationship with a child. [...] The project is a collaborative effort between Mural Arts and the United Community Action Network at SCI Graterford, a maximum-security prison where we hold art classes and where murals are painted. FACT helps fathers who are incarcerated to reconnect with their children, in the hope that these men can become positive role models and encourage their children to make positive life decisions."
