i'm so sorry that i haven't updated in a long long time, just went through some crazy life changes and when i went back to work on it, i discovered i wrote myself into a crazy plothole. i've been working on a full rewrite of the fic and have been posted the edits as i go. more to come for sure!

are you still updating second jobs on ao3? i'm late to the party and just binged the whole thing and i'm hooked :3

i am i am! my life got super hectic (i moved across the country, started grad school, am working on research publications, and also my debut novel hehe) and had to put it on hiatus for a while, but i'm making my way back to her.

in its current state, i would say i'm about 50% done with the story of second job. i have tried to write chapter 20 genuinely like 8 times but i've discovered that i've written myself into a crazy plothole and can't work my way out. i've been going through the entire fic (like all 100k+ words 🫩) and rewriting the whole thing. i'm about halfway done with my rewrite and will start working on it again after i finish my current fic.

i'm so sorry i hope this response wasn't too tmi! just wanted to let it be known that i am still working and have lots of big plans. and big big thank you for even reading it and i'm so glad you've enjoyed my work!
