Synopsis:
Elena Gilbert is a doctor in the ER at Mystic Falls Med. She had lived a hard life thus far, losing her parents at too young of an age and trying to save her brother from a harrowing drug addiction. When she meets a mysterious stranger, all seems too good to be true. It’s exactly what it is when she finds out he’s actually the new doctor in town. With workplace romances now resulting in automatic terminations, it’s going to be difficult for them both to keep their feelings at bay -- especially when Damon could care less about the rules. He’s just trying to make Elena see that they don’t matter either.
But something evil lurks nearby, something that’s much bigger than the both of them. It’s going to be a dark path for Elena when she finds out her supposed sober brother is just the opposite and the people he’s involved with put all of their lives at stake, especially when one of the members gains an unhealthy obsession for Elena.

Be sure to follow. This was a story I started years ago, but fell off the ladder for personal reasons. I have since taken down the existing chapters and started a new. I have several chapters drafted and this time, the story has been planned out through the very end. Looking back on high school, I just remember specific scenarios and thinking “Wow, that was such a big deal at the time”, but right now it feels like it never even happened. So I guess if I can give any advice, I would just say that everything will pass, and it’ll feel like it was a big deal over nothing.
