"How many times do I have to trust you to keep a secret? One that is pretty fucking big?"
"That's not fair! I was drunk. I haven't told a single of your secrets until now."

"How many times do I have to trust you to keep a secret? One that is pretty fucking big?"
"That's not fair! I was drunk. I haven't told a single of your secrets until now."
"I’m sorry, I can’t hear.”
"How many different ways do I have to tell you that I'm sorry?"
"Nic."
"Seriously."
"I didn't say anything, Bobby."
"I’m not a robot, Delia. You don’t know a thing about me or what makes me upset."
"Right."
"I’m not following. Which part am I ‘lying’ about?"
"You are like physically incapable of being pessimistic."
"What’s that supposed to mean?"
"It means exactly what it sounds like: a lie."
"If I’m not, then who will be?" he shrugged. "I’m not always optimistic. I have moments like everyone else."
"Yeah, sure and I love puppies and Katy Perry songs."
I’m not going to ask again: stop touching my hat
"Well, if you stopped acting like I don't exist, I wouldn't have to resort to this."
Pressing her lips together to keep from making a statement that would probably step over the line, Bette sat up and pulled her own black, slouchy top over her head and folded it nicely, then dropped it to the floor. “I think you and I share similar determination to be number one. I like being on top in any capacity, honestly,” she smirked, knowing full well the innuendo she’d just made. “Never have I ever been okay with losing something.”
Catching the double meaning of the words, Delia ducked her head, hair curtaining over her face to hide the smirk that played at her lips. "I am pretty sure your girlfriend would have something to say about tht. She seems like she likes to fight to be at the top too." Raising a single brow, Delia made a noise of disinterest in the back of her throat. "I'll never be okay with losing. Sorry, babe. Never have I ever... done something without an ulterior motive, honestly."
"——So… What is it exactly that you’re doing?"
"What do you mean? I'm walking back to my dorm room? Possibly ignoring you? What part has you confused?"
…I’m just joking, Delia.
"Hm."
"It’s a matter of opinion, I guess."
"You optimism s so fucking annoying sometimes."
“Twerp? What are we, in a 90’s high school comedy?”
"…I didn’t hang out with Amelia. Not that I wouldn’t, I just - she has things to do."
"Freak."
"Horrible? Where’d you get that idea? I think that despite some of our downgrades and problems, that we’re a pretty special species."
"We suck."
