A wide smile appeared over her lips at the strangers response. Finally, someone who understood. “Would you like to join me?” She asked before taking another lick.
Delia couldn’t help by smile and nod. “I would love to!” he dipped inside the local ice cream parlour and got herself a mint chocolate chip cone before going back to join the other girl outside. “Ugh, so good.” She took a lick of her cone before holding her hand out to the girl, “I’m Delia by the way.”

Cole: Why are you saying that like it is a bad thing?
Cole: I mean...unless we have tiny mice in the house who like to drink wine maybe we should be worried about ghosts.
Cole: Ew no making out with my brother, he can pick Jo up. Maybe they will make out.
Del: Because we have to go outside, our friends and niece and nephew would miss us.
Del: Yes... it was definitely a ghost that drank my wine. How rude. I guess I'll just have to buy more. Oh well :D
Del: That's why I wanted you to pick me up, dumb dumb. Doubt it, he's still saying he doesn't have feelings for her.

Cole: Just how I want it.
Cole: Oh don't lie to me, two bottles of wine vanished from the fridge.
Cole: Isn't that my brothers job?
Del: You're going to turn me into a married hermit!
Del: Funny, two full glasses of wine also disappeared from in front of me. i wonder where they went :P
Del: It is but I can't make out when him when he picks us up. You on the other hand.....

“Maybe you should invent it and cash in on the idea.” Wyatt said with a smile. “I play the piano, trumpet, trombone, drums, and saxophone. If I played anymore instruments there’d be no room in my house for furniture.” He shook his head at how ridiculous he sounded at times.
“I’m too busy trying to keep kids in school and keep the high school funded, I don’t have time to invent anything. Though it would be fun!” she chuckled at the thought of her in a work shop trying to make it work. “Jeeez, you’re a many of many skills I see. I always wanted to play piano but it just looks so .... expensive and intimidating.”
“Okay I have a very serious question…”Cole began and he moved to face the person opposite him. “Do I wear to much plaid, because some punk kid at the bar last night said if she saw me wearing one more plaid shirt whilst I was working she was going to throw up, but I don’t wear it a lot do I? I mean that is totally sebastians thing…”
Delia just laughed at Cole and then nodded. “Well, you do wear a lot of plaid but it is in style right now. Go into any store and you’ll see most of the shirts are plaid.” She moved closer and straightened up the collar of his shirt, her body remaining pressed against his once she was done. “And I like the plaid, I think it looks good on you. Especially blue and navy plaid shirts, those ones are always my favourite.”

Cole: You know what sucks...
Cole: You having friends.
Cole: Come home I miss you.
Del: You've had be all to yourself ever since this ring went on my finger!
Del: I can't it's wine club... I mean book club night.
Del: I may need you to pick me up later... maybe Jo too.
Lunch at the cafe- Open
Arlette walked into the cafe with two boys who were pulling her in either directions on where to sit. “Alright.” She snapped in frustration. “Stand still or no food.” They both stopped and she looked around for a seat close to the bathroom but still close to see the door. “Ok. Lennon go and get some menus from the waiter whilst I put Hendrix in his high chair.” She said with military precision and her son walked over and asked for menu before coming back to her and she crouched down and kissed him “Thanks big guy.” She grinned and put him on his seat and sat down. Job done. Now on to lunch. She handed her son a menu who read it upside down and made her laugh. She looked around the room and heard her boys giggling at each other causing her to laugh.
Delia was at the cafe dropping Bash’s kids back off when she spotted the lady about her age come in with two boys. “Riley, why don’t you get that lady and her boys something to drink, yah?” she asked them, figuring if she didn’t put them to work at their father’s place he would. Shortly after Delia found herself at the table next to them, she’d been attempting to read the paper while she waited for her food but their infectious laughter made it hard. “Sounds like you three are having fun,” she said with a grin as she looked over at the table.
“Hey there, you don’t mind if I join you do you? This place is full and there’s nowhere else to sit. I’m Austin by the way.”
Delia looked up from her book and smiled at the person who’d approached her table. “No, go a head! My date got called into work so that seat is full. It’s nice to meet you, I’m Delia.”
Cammie sat on the bench outside of the local ice cream shop. It was an usual time of the year to be eating ice cream, but she loved it. She would have ice cream whenever she possible could. Eventually, someone sat down beside her. “It’s acceptable to have ice cream in the winter right?” She asked before taking a lick.
Delia chuckled at the other girls question before nodding slowly. “Honestly, I like Ice Cream better in the winter. You can enjoy it without worrying about it melting all over your hand in about one minute. There is no judgement here, don’t worry.”
wyattsroberts:
“I doubt they’ll make something like that and if they do, it probably won’t be in our lifetime.” All musicians suffered in some way as it took a lot of dedication. Just when you were in marching band you played in various conditions. He had endured them all in his life. “Depends on where I’m playing. Most of them are warm though thankfully.”
“It would be a cool idea though, you’ve got to admit.” Delia was mentally glad that she’d never been very musically talented. Had she been she probably would have been in Wyatt’s shoes during cold football games in high school instead of being basket tossed into the air. “I’m glad you’ve gotten to the point where you get to play in warm places mostly. Are there any other instruments that you play?”

Spence: Maybe when we're out.
Spence: Hm...it would probably have to be the compliment thing. We've been 'together' for half our life. We've had many firsts already.
Del: It's not like I'd tell anyone that she was gay! Or Bi or whatever she is. I just hate that you have to carry around this big secret all the time.
Del: There has got to be some things you two havent done together. But maybe the compliments thing is better. You can probably come up with more compliments than date ideas.
Del: What's your dress size by the way?

“And also ‘cause it was sort of my parents, so I would feel bad if I brin’ the decoration ‘ere and left them with nothin’ “ they did tried to convince him to take it though, but Arthur just thought wouldn’t be fair with them, after all, they were the ones that bought it “I don’t see anythin’ wron’ with that, if it makes you feel better, I know other people that do exactly the same thin’, I also sometimes do it too, it’s not that unusual” he doesn’t see what’s wrong with looking for ideas.
“That makes sense. I’m sure they’re glad that they got to keep their decorations.” She chuckled softly. She’d always wished she’d kept some of her parents things, unfortunately with the way things had happened after they died most of their stuff and her stuff was auctioned off. “I just feel like a bit of a fraud. Some artsy people can come up with this stuff on their own and deserve the credit, all I did was follow their instructions and pass it off as my own.”

“Everybody knows Lubbock, the town stinks so bad you can smell it all the way over in North Texas. I like it up here. Course I miss home every now and then, but this is as good a place as any to settle.”
“Wait... seriously? No one warned me about that. I don’t want to spend a week in the smelliest part of Texas! Do you get to visit home often?”

“Nothing’s wrong.” Colby reassured her quickly as she scrawled down a few notes, glancing up now and then at Delia with the best smile she could muster. “I just…when inspiration to write down music gets all in my head then I have to get it down while I can before its gone.” She explained quickly, pausing with her eyes on Delia before looking down again. “You’re being a real big help.”
Delia just kept giving her a confused look until finally she explained the bit about having inspiration to write. “No problem, anything to help.” She still didn’t totally understand it but she had no where to be just yet so she had time to wait around. “Are you writing lyrics or the music?” she asked curiously.

“You… you would?“ he asked, “I don’t want to be a bother or anything. And I can’t offer anything in return, except maybe a few coffees on the house.“
Delia shook her head, “Oh stop, you’re no bother at all! And I don’t accept payment, even if it is yummy coffee. I’m just happy to know you’ll appreciate the decorations and won’t hurt yourself trying to put it up.”

Del: Well i saw this thing online where you get a big glass vase and you fill it with cute date ideas and all kinds of firsts that you want to have together... like 'First roadtrip' 'first cruise' 'picnic under the stars' 'couples dance lessons' and all that kind of stuff. Then when you want to go out or need a date idea she can pick one from the jar. Or you can do 365 compliments or things you love about her so everyday she can pick something out and read your compliment.

Spence: I basically just bought them a house. I don't think I can swing a couples get away.
Spence: I got them jewelry for Thanksgiving. I'm so bad at this gift giving thing.
Del: Do I ever get to meet this mystery person for real?
Del: Okay so what about getting a ornament with your name and the year on it to commemorate your first Christmas together in the new house?
Del: I have a really cheesy and adorable idea but I'm not sure if they're the kind of person who likes cheesy and romantic things.
