This 1808 home in Honeoye Falls, New York is pure Americana. Itâs a rare glimpse into the early settlers work- a POST & BEAM/timber framed home w/hand hewn beams, morticed joints & WOOD PEGS! Only $299K.
This is full of original features. The fireplace in the gathering room is original, and notice the stone wall on the right.Â
This home is full of early American craftsmanship.Â
The kitchen still has the amazing cooking fireplace and when they modernized, they put in a wonderful vintage sink. Notice the typically colonial stairs on the left.
If these stairs donât scream colonial construction, I donât know what does.Â
This home is really a piece of history.
Look at how cute this is.
Nice little powder room.Â
Family room with original fireplace.Â
Beautiful main bdm with fireplace and wide plank floors.Â
Theyâve also added an en suite.Â
2nd lovely bdm.Â
And, stairs come up in this room.Â
There are so many fireplace, original doors, and quirky colonial features.Â
Office/extra bdm in the attic.
But, thereâs plenty of storage space left.Â
Beautiful yard and brick patio.
Look at that large weeping willow tree.
Lovely country setting, and they even have a picture of the home from way back.
for the love of old houses
