I wanted to share this as a person who left a toxic fandom a year ago. I see people getting very upset over HR fan discussions. It’s the same in all fandoms, people hiding behind a keyboard say the most awful things. It can be very draining. My advice is to only follow accounts that bring you peace and block out the hate. Take breaks or leave the platform altogether. It’s honestly not worth it.

I feel so insane about ai. I've had face-to-face conversations with people who use it for therapy, who use it to calculate the safety of pill interactions, who use it for all their emails and grant applications and legal documents and academic papers and finance sheets and for every single question they have about the world, and if you tell them about the ecological costs they just laugh and say "I guess I've used a lot of water." and I've been in multiple gatherings of 10+ people where I'm THE ONLY PERSON who doesn't use chatgpt. it's turning me into a ranting raving pariah, because how don't you people see??? why don't you understand??????? this bullshit didn't exist five years ago, you absolutely do not need it, and it is destroying everything

Thinking about how François Arnaud posted a shady Instagram story about the USA men's hockey team a few days ago ("[The Heated Rivalry men] would never. I'm sticking to fictional hockey men"). And I'm sure that Connor agrees with that sentiment. I can only imagine the disappointment of finding out that you'll have to share the stage with a known Trump supporter and misogynist. I wonder if François posted that story on Connor's behalf because Connor probably isn't allowed to talk shit about the situation right now. I'm sure Connor, François, and the rest of the HR cast and crew are feeling petty and salty about this whole thing on Connor's behalf. Especially François and Hudson of course.
