Leon and Chris go on a weekend trip to a cabin in the woods in the middle of nowhere. It starts out great. The cabin is cozy, there's a small lake for swimming and fishing, it was off the grid and no one could bother them. But then, they hear a knock. They go to the door an no one is there. Weird. But, whatever. A vase behind them falls off of the table and breaks. Shit. They'll have to replace it probably but again, whatever. They go to the lake to swim and they get to for a few minutes. Then a loud, high pitched scream is heard from the forest. But they can't pinpoint which direction it was from. They both call out for the person, but no answer. They decide to go looking for anyone that needs help. They get dressed and go into the forest with their pistols. They hike for a while and don't find anyone, so they return to the cabin, both still worried about a potential person out there. But they did what they could... They're getting ready for bed when a mirror on the living room wall falls to the floor and shatters. "Damn it, what the hell is going on?" Chris is almost fed up. Leon doesn't know what to do. The two agree to just clean up the glass and go to bed. They eat, change their clothes and go to bed. Less than an hour later, they're both woken up by a bang on the wall. They get up to investigate but find nothing broken or fallen. They hesitantly agree to go back to sleep. They're woken up again by the sound of something falling. They get up to investigate again, and they find a cabinet open with pots and pans on the floor. Leon begins to pick them up but Chris wants to look around. "HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK?!" Chris yells as he runs to the back door and rips it open. "What's wrong?" Leon inquiried, "I just saw someone standing out here! It was like a silhouette but I saw clothing! Like all black clothes! Someone is here, Leon!" Leon walks up to Chris and looks around beyond him. "How are they just gone?" "I don't know, but I think it's time for us to be gone. Let's pack up." "Good idea." The two begin to pack their clothes and belongings back into their luggages and prepare to leave the cabin for good. "Alright, you ready?" Chris asked, picking up his closed bag. "Ready as ever." Leon replied as he too grabbed his luggage. They walk towards the front door and Chris unlocks it, opening it for Leon. "After you". Leon smirked. " So, chivalry isn't dead." Before Chris could chuckle or respond, the bedroom door adjacent to them slams shut. "Okay! Fuck you!" Chris screamed as he and Leon both hurried to their Jeep. "Fuck that." Leon exclaimed as he rubbed his face before running a hand through his hair. "So much for a relaxing vacation." "Don't worry Leon. Once we can find a cell signal, I'll look for a nice hotel we can stay at." "Sounds good." They drive away down the dirt road and never look back.
