Magneticmirror week day 7 final day.
I didn’t really make anything yesterday cause I had literally no network- I’m in a cabin ya’ll I barely have any network. Anyway besides that I’ll try to send one in the free day and send day 6 later on when I can focus on it. Anyway today’s prompt is free day so have fun reading this y’all<3. Since today is a free day I honestly have no idea what to do I had completely planned out the free day but sadly I have bad memory and wrote the plan in a paper that remained in my house- so I’m gonna be improvising and this takes place after ep 11 and i kinda based it off as after the infirmary prompt cause I’m too lazy to write another one so I give y’all this one.

Casper couldn’t believe he agreed to this. He agreed to go on a date just because he wanted a second chanse with Odward. Because he wanted to fix things. But at the time when Odward asked him he couldn’t think and agreed completely forgetting how he….looked.
Casper cursed under his breath while looking at himself in the mirror in his outfit. Callista raised an eyebrow at how quiet he was. Usually he’d already be talking about his date and how good he looked. Now he was just staring at himself in the mirror like it cursed out his whole family bloodline.
“Hey Cas.” Callista snapped her fingers in front of his face.
Casper snapped out of it, blinking a few times then looked at her.
“Yea?” Casper said mentally cursing how weak and out of it he sounded.
Callista looked at him with a slightly annoyed and confused look. “You ok? You’ve been glaring for the past 10 minutes. I know you’re a fashion lover but-” Callista suddenly paused looking at his strained look.
“Is this about the stupid burns?” Her voice and expression softened while asking. She knew her brother hated how he looked with the burns.
Sure Casper forgave Key and the two have started acting more friendly with the other but Casper was the type to care a lot about how he looked ever since they were kids. Callista was the type to not give a damn on how she looked and always thought she looked great even in the morning when she looks like she came out of a tornado…Casper on the other hand cared about it. Including for his dates with Odward.
“…would you believe a no?” He looked away while muttering it.
“No, I won’t” Callista sighed. “You know he doesn’t care, right?”
“I do. This is the first date he’s asked me after the big fight alright! I wanna looked good for it not look like a half cooked…” he struggled to find something to related it to the half burns. “A uh…half cooked thing!” He threw his hands up.
“One You’re not a thing. Two you look great brother, seriously.” Callista flicked his forehead which earned a surprised yelp from Casper then hugged him.
Casper didn’t even have time to get mad at her or glare for the flick. He paused for a bit then hugged her back, burying his face in her shoulder.
“Do you think he’ll still like me with this?” He muttered.
“Ofc. That idiot is too whipped. I heard from some of the other 4th year kids he snapped each time someone tried to mock ur burns behind our backs and I wasn’t there to defend you.” She smirked, pulling back.
Casper chuckled at the thought of Odward snapping at someone for gossiping.
“Come on you’re gonna be late.”
“Yea yea thanks sis.” Casper hugged her again then went out.
(Ugh I love the twins comfort😭🫶🏻)
Odward waited near the skondola for Casper.
“Hey!” Odward snapped out of his thoughts and looked toward the sound.
Casper ran over excited. Meanwhile Odward was staring and having another gay panic episode in his mind wondering how he was lucky enough to get a boyfriend who can pull of anything he wears even with the burn marks.
Casper’s smile dimmed at the sight of Odward staring. His mind going into those dark thoughts again.
“What is it? Do I look that bad?” Casper made it sound like joke but he was impatiently waiting for Odward’s opinion on the inside.
Odward had a nosebleed and looked away which startled Casper but put him at ease at least he didn’t hate how he looked with the burns. Casper started laughing and gave him a tissue.
“Sorry about that….you look great” Odward wiped his nose but his face was still red.
“Come on let’s get to the date already.” Casper pulled Odward to the skondola.
Once on the skondola Casper hummed.
“So where exactly are we going for the date?” He questioned curiously while looking down.
“It’s a surprise Cas, it wouldn’t be one if I simply told you” Odward teased.
“Come on Oddie! just a hint, please?” Casper leaned against him
“No” Odward replied, holding back a smirk at his lover’s forming pout.
“Life’s not fair green bean” Odward replied used to his boyfriend’s whines by now and only sometimes immune to them.
Casper childishly stuck his tongue out at him.
Odward pinched his side where he knew Casper was ticklish.
“Hey- hahaha” Casper giggled trying to get Odward to stop.
“Nope you asked for it green bean” Odward laughed at him while continuing to tickle him.
They both spent the skondola that way.
“I hate you.” Casper muttered looking down from the height they were at.
Apparently the date was being on a cable car(don’t ask me how that’s different from the skondola I’m making this related to a headcannons I have for Casper)
“What? It’s not that high up love.” Odward looked at him confused.
Casper is afraid of heights. He refuses to admit it but always finds a way to avoid heights. But Odward blindfolded him this time…so…
“I just don’t like them they’re pointless and there’s nothing to do up here!” Casper acted fine but was panicking from the inside
Suddenly while still moving they passed a poll and it made the cable car shake a little.
“OMFG WE’RE GONNA DIE! ODDIE THIS IS UR FAULT WE’RE TOO YOUNG TO DIE!” Casper clutched Odward’s arm tightly.
Odward started laughing he had a hunch that Casper had a fear of heights so this just proves it for him.
“Don’t worry sweetheart, you can use ur tama if we do end up falling. It’s metal.” Odward reassured him.
Casper calmed down a bit, suddenly flustered.
“Y-yea I knew that” he let go.
“I was just…tryin to not make you feel alone on being scared mhm.” He nodded to himself.
Odward chuckled. “Sure you did”
Casper frowned but before he could say something and be dramatic Odward kissed him.
Casper returned the kiss wrapping his arms around his boyfriend’s neck.
The sun started setting from behind as they started arriving back down.
Odward broke the kiss and stroked Casper’s burns slightly.
“You looked more beautiful than ever” Odward whispered.
“Are you just saying that to make me happy?” Casper raised an eyebrow.
“Never.” Odward kissed his forehead then his nose earning a giggle, then his lips.
Casper hummed kissing back.
After the ride the two lovers went to other parts of the place (imagine it as an amusement park but with some fancy name)
Casper dragged Odward to some watergun challenge while pointing at the big plushie on display.
“Can you win it for me Oddie? Please please pretty please?” Casper clasped his hands together and gave Odward his biggest puppy eyes.
“Alright alright you don’t need to beg” Odward laughed at how cute his boyfriend was.
He payed for a round and started shooting. hitting the bullseye each time thanks to being a striker it was easy for him.
Casper hugged the plushie while walking besides Odward.
They got to some petting zoo where they were allowed to pet and play with the bunnies.
Odward being a bunny enthusiast when it came to bunnies stopped at it like a cat spotting its next feast.
Casper noticed and rolled his eyes with a smile already knowing that they’re doing this no matter what.
“Did you know bunnies never stop growing their teeth and their long ears help them cool down in cold weather?” Odward said excitedly while a brown bunny sat on his lap eating the carrot he was holding.
“That’s nice to know love.” Casper smiled petting his own white rabbit.
The date was fun. they watched a movie after the rabbits and played some street ball with some kids. Odward bought Casper some chocolates and placed a flower in his hair as well, the flower matched Casper. The two continued their date doing new things and trying them out as well as doing things they usually did before the whole break up and burn thing. Eventually they had to go back to their dorms. Casper refused to go to his dorm insisting on going to Odward’s and Odward being the sucker he is allowed it after some convincing. (It took 2 mins)
“Just ignore the mess…” Odward muttered unlocking his door.
“What mess? I don’t think ur able to do that love-” Casper stopped himself when he saw his room.
“I take that back” Casper retracted.
Honestly this was the first time he’d seen Odward live in a mess….well not exactly a mess just books opened and the soccer balls on the ground but still. Not really Odward style. The bed was fine tho.
The two changed and ended up cuddling.
I don’t know how to draw if I could I would’ve drawn these two cuties anyway hope y’all enjoyed this and sorry it’s late I just got network and I’m tryna work with what I got.

“Babe please…” Casper blinked up at Odward
“We’re not going out at this time Cas.” Odward muttered trying to open his eyes.
“But….but ice cream..” Casper Whispered.
“It’s midnight. Go. To. Sleep.”
“I’m not responsible for ur sickness if it happens.” Odward grumbled tho there was no heat to it.
“Do you want some cake?” Casper asked happily.
“No I want sleep you idiot” Odward laughed.
“I think you want strawberry cake.” Casper looked back at the cakes cheerfully.

hope y’all enjoyed this long fanfic I planned to make it longer but eh anyway I’m glad the Dragon striker fandom is growing it’s a really lovely show and I haven’t had such a wonderful comfort show since httyd which finished years ago. I’m really happy that more and more people are loving and finding comfort in this wonderful show and I hope it continues growing till we get a new season or a part two for season one and for everyone who’s keeping this fandom alive keep up the good work🫶🏻🩵 all of your guys work is amazing and wonderful! I don’t wanna make this long but I hope everyone has a great time and are having fun!
