“One thing I never expected: the smell of things. Everything down her either smells amazing or horrendous; no scent is in moderation.”
“i’ve got you” - @delinquentblues
it’s a pretty well known and unfortunate fact that medics make pretty terrible patients. clarke isn’t a complainer, but she will fidget and flinch. her issue, a rudimentary surface wound, isn’t bad but the sting and pull of the slightly damp cloth results in a strange, uncomfortable sensation. her body isn’t really agreeing with the idea of sitting still and she can feel dmitri losing his patience.
“sorry. i’m not trying to be a pain in the ass.”
"You're not? That don't sound like you."
We're it anyone else, Dmitri doesn't think he could be bothered to deal with all the shifting, but for her he does his best to keep his cool as he continues to carefully clean the wound. It’s more ginger contact than he’s ever had with anyone, and the fact that it’s with her is almost bittersweet.
“Next time maybe don’t get yourself hit if you don’t wanna deal with the clean up.”
Send “I’ve got you” to help my muse wash off blood from their body
“i think the only way we’ll get through this is together.”
"I couldn't agree more."

“A gun might be a better option, unless you’re aiming for losing a limb” she pointed out, sliding from her bed so she could climb into his, forcing him over so she could get comfortable. The blonde honestly knew she would go with him if he left– she didn’t have anyone here to keep her, sure she’d made some friends, but none she could honestly say she would stay here for, under Octavia’s rule. She already couldn’t breath for fear of offending someone down here– once she had the chance to, she was going to run with him, somewhere far, far away.
“If I’m the one with the sword, the bear is the one that’s losing limbs.” He laughed lightly at his own assertion; the idea of standing his ground against a bear with nothing but a sword seeming as ridiculous to him as his level of certainty about being the victor in that tussle would likely be to anyone else. “But let’s just hope bear activity is at a minimum wherever we end up.”
cosmicfell:
When he didn’t pull away, her head tilted slightly, deepening the kiss, her hands letting go of his shirt in favor of moving u phis chest to his face, cupping one of his cheeks as the other came to rest on his shoulder. This was only the second kiss she had ever been given, the first had been Murphy in one of the drunken early nights of the dropship, but it had been nothing like this.
The kiss for several more seconds, Dmitri caught up in it before some part of kicked in to realize what was happening and he broke the contact of their lips, but did not pull away any further than that, and stood there panting lightly. Slowly his lips curved into a smile, and his eyes met Alona’s. He reached his hands up and placed them over hers. He didn’t make any move to pull hers away, just finding a comfort in the mutual contact.

“I don’t know why I did it– it just sort of happened” she saw he was hurt and something in her took over. Maybe it was from one of the few memories she had of her mother kissing her scraped knee that drove her to do the same for someone she cared so deeply for. All she knew was now she couldn’t look at him.
He mirrored her inability to look ahead, eyes scanning the floor as though somewhere on it he’d find some intelligible words. He didn’t know what to do with such tenderness, but he couldn’t get out of his head the fact that he’d....liked it. It had been strange and unfamiliar, and that had prompted him to pull away, but the moments of reflection since had made him realize it was not entirely unwelcome. “It’s okay. I mean...if you wanna do that...or whatever.”

My Opinion on;
Character in general: A regular OC jamboree! While I’ve only written opposite Alona so far, all the muses on this blog are fleshed out and intriguing and I applaud the work put into them.How they play them: Each character has their own voice and are cool to read in each of their varied interactions and verses. The Mun: Tiny is a sweetheart!

The initial support systems were in place, and everyone had a second to breath at last. Rooms had been found and claimed, and Dmitri sat alone in his staring at a wall. Everything that they’d lost came crashing in on him. It was too much to process all at once, so he just sat and stared in shock, trying to wrap his head around it all, but he couldn’t get past what was the most significant loss of all: Clarke. She’d given up her life to save theirs. It didn’t seem like a fair trade to him.
He was so caught up in mourning that he didn’t notice at first when he was no longer alone, but some movement in his peripheral vision finally caught his attention, and he looked over at Raven with a blank expression. He didn’t know what to do or what to say, so as his eyes met hers and he maintained his solemn silence.

She was one of the last people he’d expected to hear such a declaration from, even in the heat of an argument like the one they’d been having. It knocked all the wind out of his sails and rendered him silent for several long seconds. When he finally found his voice, it was soft and came seeping out through tightly clenched teeth.“...Nice to know you joined the fucking club, Reyes.”

“I don’t– I’m sorry” the blonde scrambled to move away and busy herself doing anything that didn’t involve looking at him. In truth she didn’t know why she did it, she just noticed his hand and before she could stop herself, she was pressing her lips to the broken skin. She could feel her cheeks pinking and so she hid them behind a wave of golden curls.
When she hurried to put some distance between them, he immediately felt like he’d messed up. He half thought to reach out and stop her but ultimately decided against it, though he did sheepishly keep his eyes on her even if they were slightly downcast. “I mean...I wasn’t..complaining or anything...just surprised is all.”
cosmicfell:
“No– but I will be” she managed a small smile, not nearly as bright as it usually was, but it was something. She found herself looking at him for a moment longer before she felt her lips press against his. She wasn’t sure why she did it– but she did know his mouth felt warm and it helped her to forget that not even a moment ago she had been in the middle of a panic attack.
When their lips met he was frozen stiff, the sudden contact catching him completely off guard. Nothing could have prepared him for it, yet when the initial shock was over he found a comfort in the kiss like he’d never known. He didn’t try to go for anything more, just indulging in it for however long she maintained contact.
cosmicfell:
Maybe it was from never really processing her brother’s death or maybe it was just a panic attack from living in the bunker for so long. But either way, she was so thankful he was there to hold her, just having the contact he offered her was more then enough and eventually her breathing did even out enough for her to look up at him, tears still shinning in her usually bright eyes.
He listened close as she gradually began to calm, but even when she looked up at him and their eyes met he didn’t let her go, just in case. “You alright now?” His voice was far softer than usual; not even a hint of his trademark bite or impatience. He spoke hardly above a whisper, though he was sure she could hear.

He’s never been good at words of comfort, and he desperately wished he was, because watching Alona be so frantic was breaking his heart. What he could, and did, do was hold her. If he couldn’t find the words to support her, he could at least just be there for her. He wrapped his arms around her tightly, quietly keeping her close.

cosmicfell:
It wasn’t unlike Alona to show affection, she was a very open person– but kissing was something on the newer side, at least between her and him. She couldn’t help it though, when she saw his knuckles, her heart hurt for him and before she could stop herself she brought his hand to her lips, ocean eyes glancing up at his when he stilled.
While Alona was typically the bubbly one of the two of them, such a show of affection was pretty foreign to him on a grander scale. After another moment or two of silence, Dmitri pulled his hand out of Alona’s grasp and awkwardly reached up to rub the back of his neck, eyes darting around everywhere but on her. “Uh...what was that about?”
“DOWNPOUR” - Alona
@cosmicfell
He’d only even left the dropship to try and hunt down something to eat. Of course, this only ended in him coming back empty handed and soaked from head to toe once the rain kicked into high gear. He was slowly trudging back towards the dropship when he heard a voice just to the side of him calling out. While he normally would have ignored it, he was cold, and tired, and wet, and a chance to sit and leave the rain was too enticing to pass up in the moment. He reluctantly headed to Alona’s tent, unceremoniously plopping down on her bedding as soon as he entered. If she expected some sort of thanks, she’d be sorely disappointed.
