Why?

Killing in the name of God or Allah is counterproductive. If you believe in your religion and are an ardent follower, then isn't killing someone AGAINST your religion? You are taking a life, therefore aren't you doing  "God/Allah's" job? You are not allowed to do that, correct? Isn't "God/Allah"  the only one that CAN take a life? If committing suicide is a sin in the Christian faith, then you murdering someone is also a sin, right? How can you be a devout follower of your religion if you are doing things that are against it? I have never truly been able to understand these acts of "martyrdom/terrorism." By the way, God and Allah are one in the same.

I don't purposely look in my rear view mirror, but I can't help but glance at it from time to time. Going forward and never looking back makes no sense to me. You have to look back sometimes to be aware of your surroundings and to make sure you remember to keep moving.
