This is the escapist, for when you really don’t want to confront anything at all

The escapist

High stealth

Poor swimmer

Uses mostly ranges attacks

Special abilities-

Detach: Can detach tail to get away from predators, allows for a second chance to escape. Tail will regrow in two cycles, or at the cost of six food

Claws: can climb up walls without needing to jump, and can attack without a weapon

Design notes:

Long whiskers

Big ears (tattered at the tops)

Slender, but with thicker arms than most slug cats

Does not bleed when tail is detached

PURPLE

Carnivore

Screams when tail detaches

They are full of fear

Gameplay notes

Danger music is almost always playing when they leave the den, but it starts off softly, and gets progressively louder when danger approaches

Poor balance when tail drops

There is a dream every other cycle

Enemies are always aggressive

Distrustful of scavengers, music will go silent and will be replaced with a heartbeat that gets progressively louder. Despite this, Scavengers are rarely hostile and will sometimes let them cross for free.

Environment always has a slightly red overlay

Aside from mental illnesses (usually a thing in arti hcs) and the eye scar, does your artificer deal with other physical and mental drawbacks? (E.g. Missing limbs, further inflammation, constant deafening tinnitus, etc.)

No. They're pretty simple as far as I can tell.

I've seen a lot of cool Artificer designs and I want to collectively see more of them in this post. I doubt mine is the most fucked up one. I usually tend to be easy on them, especially since I project onto them.
