Y’all I actually have a cool job now that doesn’t make me want to die every day. Isn’t that neat.

#lots of public speaking though #but I literally get to have a hand in designing a new restaurant layout which is so so cool #and I’m home in time for dinner

So funny story, the date of my last reblog was July 21st, 2022, which happens to be the day my dad died. Apparently that kinda trauma directly influences your daily scrolling habits lol

So the life update has some ups and downs. On the downside, like I said, lost a dad. Also experienced a mental health hospital again so that wasn’t great. But on the upside, I’m now about 90% stable as long as I take my meds. Also got my dream job in Atlanta so I’m moving back south!

Also, my thoughts on Star Trek: Picard: I was excited for the changelings, confused that there was another Crusher, and disappointed that we fell back onto the borg. But over all solid last season and really hoping another series picks up where it left off!

Lastly, I knit and crochet now and it’s about 20% of my personality, with Star Trek being 20% and Chick-fil-A being the other 60%.

danger days is NOT meant to be listened to on good speakers you’re supposed to listen to it in the summer heat on your shit car stereo and turn it up until you can it barely sounds like music and you can feel it in your legs. ideally your check engine light should be on for an optimal listening experience but i know that’s not feasible for everyone

People in the Off Topic comments bitching about how they miss AH getting sloppy drunk. Like, seriously? They’re mad that AH isn’t getting alcoholic drunk anymore? Fuck on out of here.

There’s several factors to why they’ve stopped drinking as much.

1. They’re getting older and being sloppy drunk in your 30′s is Not A Good Look no matter which way you cut it. They still drink, but as more of a social occasion and really see no reason to get sloppy drunk anymore.

2. The show being on Thursdays mean they still have work to do and can’t just hop into an Uber/Lyft home.

3. Geoff and Joe have been very open about their addiction history and the rest of AH have been very respectful and encouraging about their sobriety. Jeremy has even mentioned that even after moving back north, he’s stopped drinking as much.
