I am drawing ONLY Undertale/Deltarune related characters because when drawing original characters or characters from other media I do not feel motivated or interested enough.

I can basically draw your character (JUST your character) for free.

The full art with the background, pose and control over the process will eventually be a paid commission when I get to making the post about it. As for now the full art is inaccessible for the commissions.

So what's the last thing I've been doing related to the animation?

THIS wobbly text that appears at the end of Papyrus's hangout. Every frame of every letter is animated manually because I don't have the easier way to to it (for it to look normal while doing so)

Too hard for me to do it in other places so this text effect is for the Papyrus hangout only.

Now that some characters were revealed I will start working on the chapter 0 main poster to sort things out.

Dess and Noelle Northernlight character design. I already had them used in the comic (didn't post it yet because couldn't think of how to connect the parts properly).

The designs were drawn from memory so i might've forgotten a few little details on Noelle.

Meanwhile, not that I remembered, I will continue drawing a comic for a bit. Consider dropping the designs being a slight teaser for what's gonna be next.

I am dropping only 1-2 arts for pride month because of me focusing on a more important stuff.

Eclipse is actually agender (genderless). I had it as a cannon the whole time, I just didn't know the word (I'm still learning- )

Same goes for Northernlight Eclipse, the only difference between them and him are the pronouns.

Also an attempt at making a semi-background instead of leaving it completely empty.

Continuation of my previous post about Underguard visual novel, this is the general style for the background I planned to use if I ever continue seriously working on it.

The image obviously isn't polished and doesn't have shading but the general style is basically following the sprite version of the rooms while also adding extra details.

I honestly have no idea what I'm actually doing.

A random thought I had is turning Underguard into a visual novel. The story will stay the same (I still need to complete writing a post with it)

I will work on it more in the background but I still wanted to share the thoughts. Mostly because it doesn't go well with the classic Undertale style.

Also this post works as a way to drop this very random doodle of Goner.

Emerald Nero character info post

General character lore:

Was mistreated and abused by his own father. When mother died the father got thrown to jail. After that Emerald started getting help from local Social Support systems but since his magic is unstable and dangerous they are also under the observation.

Personality:

Most of the time has suppressed emotions because of the pills they're taking for better control over magic. When not suppressed they get easily irritated. Emotions are more unstable in general because he didn't learn how to control them.

Importance to the story:

Has a key access for one of the important areas they got from a father. Refuses to use it due to past family trauma.

Slowly but I am starting to introduce some of the original characters

Underswap perseverance human art. The basic idea is her being a goth girl searching for eldritch horrors.

Extra thing to say is that when I'm done with designing all humans I might (but not necessarily will) make yet another blog dedicated for Underswap humans only (including Frisk and Chara)

I won't make a poll if I should make it (because I will anyway) but I wanted to hear what you would think about it.

Blue is a good contrast color to yellow, what can I say.

Effect of Darkness on monsters in Undernight

[Immunity] - Monsters with positive aura and/or who practice Light magic often are immune to the negative effects of the Dark, or at least less affected depending on their Light level.

(I will use this guy as a reference)

[Stage 0] - An ordinary monster that was not yet affected by the Dark.

[Stage 1] - Early stage of the Darkness, has no negative effects. Monster's stats are increased and they gained access to the Dark oriented magic.

======================

[Stage 2] - Monster can now use only the Dark bullet patterns without having an access to their default magic.

======================

[Stage 3] - Gained weakness to Light magic. Darkness starts radiating from a monster into the surroundings but not as intense yet. Intensity varies between different mosters.

======================

[Stage 4] - Darkness takes its physical appearance on monster's body, partiallly influencing their behavior. Magic becomes unstable, mostly losing the shape it originally had.

======================

[Shadow stage 1] - A physical manifestation of a Darkness within monster. Has the exact appearance and abilities as an original monster but instead made entirely from Dark. Appears only when monster from stage 1-3 turns to dust (dies). Monsters from stage 4 cannot leave a Shadow.

[Shadow stage 2] - Dangerous and unstable piece of living Dark that doesn't look like anything at this point. Accessible either by killing a stage 4 monster or by heavily damaging stage 1 Shadow.

General information

The Dark exists in the AU as a force because of the forbidden dark spell that monsters used to get stronger. Despite that they got sealed anyway but the general effects of Darkness are still present on the surface.

Shadows didn't exist immediately after performing the spell. They started appearing due to a cumulative effect of Darkness that was sealed underground with monsters. Technically the effect of the Dark is still growing.

The Shadow's dark aura prevents any regular magic from being used. The only type of magic that is not being affected by this is pure Light and Dark magic specifically.

Shadows don't have HP but they can be damaged. Shadows can't be killed by any normal means. If Stage 1 Shadow gets hardly damaged it it moves to Stage 2. If Stage 2 Shadow gets hardly damaged it retracts far enough to restore the shape. If Shadow can't get away then it just fades out and reappears later.

The core purpose of Shadows is to spread chaos. They don't have a mind of their own and they only exist to destroy.

I've done a little bit of sketching and figured the exact amount of pages left for the comic. It does seem like a lot but since I have everything planned now it will take a lot less time to actually draw.

Compared to what I have planned for the Northernlight comic this is very much not a lot.

I will focus on FULLY completing this comic (including the final version of the images instead of sketches) before moving on to working on other comic(s). Despite that I am still doing other non-comic related stuff so it isn't 100% focus.

Sketching a comic layout to understand better what happens next instead of just drawing what comes to mind immediately. (comic about Sans)

Sketches are less for making the exact image and more for understanding the layout and framing.

No idea why exactly I am sharing all of this, maybe because I wanted to say that I don't have TOO much pages for this comic afterwards.

I will likely have these 3 pages, then one more with Papyrus and 2 or 3 more with Alphys. Maybe something else to complete it properly.

I am slowly getting into drawing people's characters (no I didn't forget)

Reminder that the commissions are still stockpiling. I will get to all of them eventually and I am drawing only when I feel like it (forcing myself to draw will just make the art worse and will just be less fun to draw)
