You are delusional. Slaves did the majority of the work to give the US exports prior to and during the industrial revolution. Without them being stolen and exploited, America wouldn’t have been able to sustain its self.

Well, first of all we’ve gone from “blacks built america” to “blacks harvested exported cash crops”, two vastly different things.

Secondly, America’s industrialisation occurred primarily in the north, where there were less slaves and mostly after the civil war when slavery had ended. Slaves had virtually nothing to do with america’s industrialisation (which is where america’s wealth came from) and in fact, the use of agrarian slave labor actually delayed industrialisation because landowners were spending money on slaves rather than investing in capital. It’s precisely this reason that the north industrialised before and became wealthier than the north and why industrialisation was greatest after the use of slaves had ended.

Finally, America could quite easily have sustained itself without slavery. There were far more free white workers and indentured servants than black slaves. It would simply mean that slave owners would have been less wealthy because they would had to have spent more on labor costs. The proceeds of slavery also have little to do with the development of America’s wealth because they were mostly concentrated in the south and the south’s wealth was almost entirely wiped out by the civil war.

The only delusional ones are those who think the harvesting of cash crops is somehow responsible for creating the vast industrial engine of america. If that were the case, large numbers of developing nations would be extremely wealthy by now.

You are so foolish it’s ridiculous. The industrial revolution didn’t begin until 1820. Slave labor to harvest cash crops was the primary source Of wealth in the United States for CENTURIES PRIOR to the industrial revolution. And slave labor actually built the majority of government and civilian buildings in cities and towns as the U.S. was in its infancy and expanding. Without slavery America WOULD NOT have been able to Prosper at the same levels. You say that America

So the government and construction companies used this Slavs labor as their primary source. the same reason companies move the factories to other countries, so they can pay next to nothing and make the most profit. The whole reason why slaves were brought to America in the first place is because white workers didn’t want to do that work, and wanted to get paid to do it.

You are honestly confused if you think the north didn’t make money off the cash crops in the south. They bought them from wealthy southerners, then sold and traded them with other countries, for a steep profit. Only reason the souths wealth was somewhat wiped out by the civil war was because of having to pay the government for seceding, and costs of war. You do understand that the industrial revolution began 40 years before the civil war, and the American revolution occurred almost 100 YEARS, prior to the industrial revolution.

So let’s say you ignore the almost 300 years prior to the American Revolution that Slave labor was the primary source of wealth in America. You still have 100 YEARS of save labor and cash crops giving America the majority of its wealth and trade power. Then you have 40 more years until slavery was abolished. When people say “slaves built America”. It’s because Slaves LITERALLY built America as far as construction and giving America its primary source of wealth for CENTURIES prior to the thing you claim built America. They aren’t saying, “Slavery Is the only way America made money”. So please learn the history of this country before you spout ignorance as fact.

Breaking news! Madison police savagely beat and tease 18yo Black teen and put a bag over her head.

On Tuesday, 18-year-old Genele Laird was brutally assaulted by the Madison police. The video of her arrest had hundreds of thousands of views hours after it was posted on Facebook.

According to police Laird confronted an employee at the mall food court about her phone that had been stolen. She displayed a knife and made threats against the employee before mall security called police.

Luckily there are witnesses who did the right thing - they recorded what was happening. Ofc, the police said that she was resisting the arrest, but I can’t see it in the video!

In addition, after violently kicking, punching, and tasing her, cops put a bag over her head. WHAT THE HELL!

About 40 demonstrators protested Laird’s arrest Tuesday night at the Public Safety Building, displaying a sign that said: “Hands off black women.”

You definitely need the entire force to contain an 18 yr old girl. Fuck all those pigs. In America the police are more corrupt than the criminals.
