Larsadie and change
I get that a lot of people are upset over the ship sinking and others praise representation; while both reactions are valid, hear me out.
TLDR; Shep is good and Shep and Sadie are good, but not just because Shep is NB. Representation is amazing and we should get more casual representation like this instead of being hammered over the head with a character that is nothing else but gay; it's also good because change can be healthy and should be accepted if so, as sudden as it might seem
It's no coincidence that all the changes happened so suddenly and one after the other. It's the creators way of putting us in Steven's shoes. Who wouldn't be upset if the people you knew now seem to want nothing else but to move on? Steven is frustrated and so are the some members of the audience.
A big part of SU Future is change and people drifting away, as Steven struggles to accept it. The episode "Little graduation" shows it best.
We feel as if years of development happened just to tease us into hoping it might be true, only for those characters to be shown for like 2minutes and then do a complete 180. Except that it was good change. It's fueled by their individual development and the way they both went in completely seperate ways, whether you take the possibility of Lars living forever due to Rose's powers or not.
Shep came out of nowhere because they came out of nowhere for Steven, and since we only see from his pov, it just builds up to frustration and memes.
Can't wait to see how they'll go about dealing with all the stuff and change Steven is bottling up and slowly and unwillingly letting out
