”One can only do so much dancing in these uncomfortable get-up’s before it becomes unbearable. Do you know when they’re serving the food?”
The night had been going by dreadfully slow from the moment Demelza had arrived. The Slytherin's feet had been stepped on by her date so many times that she lost count. The sixth year was a last minute choice for accompaniment and although she was sweet she had two left feet. Demelza wasn't exactly in the mood to be surrounded by the entire Hogwarts student body anymore. Demelza decided after the last ungraceful stomp on her foot that heels she wore were bringing enough discomfort without the added amenities of her dates ogre like grace.
Out of self preservation she lead the other girl to the bar. With a few choice words prepared for anyone that planned on getting her way in the forefront of her mind. That is until the green eyes spotted her ex-girlfriend. Of course she had to run into the last person she wanted to see right now. Too drained to turn around, she kept walking.
"Thank you", she replied with a sigh. Her date felt the obvious tension in the air and excused herself although Demelza wanted to grab her hand and beg her to stay."What about you, where's your date?" she asked. Talking to Phoebe just added on to tonight's delights.

Hahaha I don’t know if I can agree to all that but I’m sure you all will definitely put up a decent fight.
I’ve already begun my N.E.W.T studies and I can already tell that Nastily Exhausting aren’t nearly dreadful enough adjectives to describe the agony to come. I don’t think I’m in the wrong when I say scoring anything below an Outstanding will only be a pathetic waste of all of my time.
some first year asked me why don’t we have house bonding— at first i was like… what the fuck is this child asking me but now thinking about i think a house-wide prank war is what we need.
That’s actually a quality suggestion. For efficiency I think we should separate by grade level.
HOGWARTS COMMON ROOMS SERIE → Slytherin
The password to the common room changes every fortnight. Keep an eye on the noticeboard. Never bring anyone from another house into our common room or tell them our password. No outsider has entered it for more than seven centuries.
