✧.* { CHLOE BENNET & SHE/HER & CIS FEMALE & 29 } is that BILLIE FORBES who’s come back from the future ? they’re CAROLINE AND CHRONOS’ kid, right ? i’ve heard they can be pretty JDGEMENTAL. how typical for a DEMI-GOD. i guess they must rely on their SWEET side shining through. rumor has it they’re trying to hide THAT SHE HAS MADE A WEAPON THAT CAN KILL A GOD BUT DOESN’T WANT TO TELL ANYONE SHE HAS IT BECAUSE THEY MIGHT USE IT ON HER OR HER FAMILY, but that’s probably just noise…
Billie is the daughter of Chronos the time god and Caroline Forbes the vampire. She is the oldest biological child of her family, taking on a mom figure most of her life. She is named after her mother’s father. William/Bill Forbes. She became assistant mayor when she was 15, helping Hope to make their little town a better place. Though really she didn’t come into her true assistant mayor skills till she was older.
During her private time in the future she had been trying to work out how to use her god-magic, if there was a way that she could change the rules of the prison that Jen, her cousin had made. She used her magic to make a god weapon, she had been considering testing it, but she didn’t want to risk waking Ken to try and use it on him. She has it with her in the past but given people’s emotions, she doesn’t want to tell anyone she made it.
Hit me up if you want to plot, i’m not going to be on the discord!
GRANDMA? Liz was startled for a moment by the outburst only calming when she realized this was a thing. She was meeting her grandchildren out of order. “I don’t know! I-I lost Stefan somewhere at the apple stand.” But never mind that. She found herself moving with the new grandchild, calling out to her, “Wait! What’s your name?” Because despite every emotion she felt in the last few days, she was someone who had to stop and let information sink in. Hell, she wanted a better look at the young woman.
“I meant luicen,” she said, giving the crowd another look over before she moved to behind a big trailer that fenced around in. She looked to the exit, one exit to fight was better than in the open. She then turned to Liz. “I can handle Stefan,” she said. “Don’t worry.” Stefan was human after all. She looked to her grandmother and smiled. “Billie. After my grandfather.”
“I’m closing up shop in about five minutes but I guess I can make an exception for you. Gotta love using your power for corruption, right?” She joked before a look of shock came on her face. “ A boy? Who?” She tried to feign innocence.
“Is 5 minutes enough time for a beautiful butterfly,” she joked. “I can pay you if you need, what are you charging the kids?” She asked. “Oh, okay, so I should report him then. For being in the girls dorms,” she asked, a smirk on her lips, daring her sister to lie to her again.
“I’M SORRY,” She really wasn’t, “but I couldn’t handle another song centered around Stanksgiving.”
“Well it’s nice, I don’t really know any of the songs to start with.” It wasn’t like they had alot of music in the future. They followed online but with no way to go to consents or go met others. It was pretty limited.
“Ah, you got me there,” he said as he pointed to her for a moment before letting his hand fall down to his side. “You seem to know about Mystic Falls, care to share with a curious stranger?”
“I think you basically know the important part. You can’t go in,” she said lightly. “There is an anti-magic barrier around the town. Any witch magic doesn't work inside the town. E.g. the magic that keeps vampires alive disappears and you return to what you would be without magic... which is dead. Mystic Fall isn’t that close to here, why were you going there?”
“I don’t know why they insist on making everything pumpkin flavored honestly. It’s tragic.”
“Maybe they just have alot of pumpkins,” she joked. That’s what happened in the future once, they did a whole harvest of pumpkins and given it was one of the only food they had, you had just make do with it. Turn it into everything. “Though pumpkin bread isn’t that bad.”
Marcel smirked at her, a tipsy smile on his face. “Make it two dogs,” He said before slamming the hammer down, nearing breaking the carnival game. “Make your pick Forbes,”
She reached over and pointed out the one she wanted. When it was in her hands she smiled. “Thank you,” she said, brining to teddy to her chest. “Though I do think it counts as cheating a little.”
Carli had been stuck volunteering in the facepaint as she needed extra credit. She had missed more classes than she meant to and this was the only way she could raise her grade. One of the kids had decided to paint her face like a sad clown and she was miserable. “If you even laugh at me, this paint brush is going up your-” She stopped as she realized a kid was nearby. | @sanguishqsstarters
“Is that so?” Billie laughed at her sister. “Well you can do a butterfly on my face, right here,” she teased, tapping on her cheek. “And then we can chat about the boy I caught in your room.”
SHE HAD AT LEAST been able to change her clothes but the dress she was wearing was the least of her worries. No, that happened to be the fact that she’d managed to slip away from Stefan without him noticing in such a large crowd. Blending in only consisted of hiding behind a few people, pretending to enjoy herself hoping she could skootch herself closer to an exit. “Yay,” she cheered unenthusiastically. “Do it again.”
“Grandma,” she said, running over to the other. She gave the room a quick look over. “Where is he?” Lucien had to be here, right? This was his plan after all. “Come on,” she said, reaching out to move the other with her away from the crowd.
Marcel was actually going to enjoy himself for once. He had spent so much time worrying about Davina, The Mikaelsons and the Triad. He was going to enjoy his drinks, play some games and have a good time. He was already playing the test your strength game to see if he could win something. “Take your pick,” He said to the person by him, playing with the sledge hammer. | @sanguishqsstarters
“So I wanted to go to Mystic Falls but I heard you died when you stepped into it and thought, huh that’s rude, so now I’m here being forced to celebrate some stupid holiday that isn’t even accurate,” he rambled with a sigh. “Life, huh?”
Well, her timing was never short of nothing but fantastic. Though, this wasn’t quite the celebrations she was used to. Fair rides, games and the like - Scarlett wasn’t surprised to find herself already going for a beer. Taking a sip, she nearly spit it out - “Pumpkin flavored beer. That’s… new. And disgusting. Ten ten don’t recommend.” She set it on the table, deciding she was done with that. @sanguishqsstarters
SHE HAD SHIMMIED HER WAY up to the guy djing the festival with intent. Leaning closer, she acted interested in what he was saying with two end goals in mind. “Mhm, that’s a nice playlist but I’m gonna need you to put a little of this and a whole lot of that in there.” Had she compelled him to do such things? Maybe but suddenly over all of the chattering noise, WHO LET THE DOGS OUT started blaring instead. “Thank you very much.”
A new body had been exactly what he needed. Thanks to a little magic from Fallon, he felt like a brand new man. His new look gave him security; no Klaus looking to rip his throat out, no Caroline begging for her mother back, no women attempting to guilt trip him for his misdeeds. It was a brand new start and he was grateful. His face was turned up to the sky, enjoying the feeling of sunlight on his face. “Beautiful out, isn’t it?” he mused. God, this was the most free he’d felt since he got to this godforsaken place.
Billie was eating a pie. It was good but that was about all she could say for it really. Her mind was racing and she looked at her phone again. Still not seeing a reply from Lucien. She looked up to the other. “Ah, yeah. It’s nice.”
“Yeah, it’s probably not going to be easy,” she admits. What Billie didn’t know is that doing what she needed to do involved walking directly into the lion’s den, but she’d keep that to herself for now. She didn’t need anyone else worrying about her. “I’d be happy to let you at this point,” Caroline said with a sad smile. There was nothing she wanted more than Lucien to be out of their lives for good.
“Yeah well playing with more than half your team on the bench tends to be like that,” she commented honestly. “And I get that this is something you struggle with and I know that Dr Saltzman struggled with it as well from reading his book, but... we are stronger than you. We have the ability to protect people and fight the battles that otherwise couldn’t be won. Sometimes being a good parent is letting us fight, and trusting us to win.” Over what she was clearly doing now which was trying to keep them out of it. But she nodded when the other said that she wanted Lucien dead. “I’ll make a call.”
