Sounds of the Crome Syrcus are combined here with other artists–the Syrcus' friends. The Seattle psychedelic rock group was named from a dream that singer and bassist Lee Graham had, perhaps sometime in 1966. Things begin with a-side "Fox" by the Mystics (featuring early Crome Syrcus members). The Crome Syrcus quickly experienced Command-ABC recording sessions in New York City by 1967, 'Love Cycle,' and were intertwined with the ballet, stemming from a friendship with the company of Robert Joffrey. The Crome Syrcus developed an original score for 'Astarte,' and performing live around the world, from NYC to Tacoma, and to Vienna. The set is completed with a piece including Milton Katims, father of the late Peter Katims, who assisted engineering in NYC on 'Love Cycle,' and was from Seattle just like the group. This piece can be found, like many of the songs, on iTunes. https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/schubert-quintet-in-c-major-d-956-symphony-no-5-in/id271423250 Obscure rarities!
