Kleptomania vs Shoplifting

Idk why but I decided to check out the tag for kleptomaniac and was shocked to find basically every post being about shoplifting. Like as a person who has quite recently been told they are kleptomaniac, I’m surprised to see people think that stealing from big corporations and such is kleptomania. Like???? I’ve only ever stolen stuff from friends, classmates, family, teachers etc. But only small stuff like pens, charms, necklaces, notepads, bracelets. Ya know, shiny stuff no one really cares about that I like hoarding for whatever reason. But when I went on the tag, there were people proudly saying to have stolen Gucci stuff. I’m really just confused.
