Covid-19 has the potential to kill 2% of the population who gets it, and it’s got the spread to get to half of our population.

With that in mind, consider when you’re donating to homeless shelters or food pantries, that people who are living in poverty and people who are homeless have easily depressed immune systems and that you might want to add a few things to their bags like:

Tissue boxes, antibacterial hand wipes, extra bottles of water, hand sanitizers with an alcohol content greater than 60%.

Please add to this list, I’m just brainstorming.

I’m not saying this is a cure, but the more we can do to protect the immune systems of people this virus will attack, the better we all will be.

as an aside, no matter how much you enjoy makeup, I highly recommend learning to be comfortable without it. you can only reframe coerced behavior as empowering for so long before it begins to wear on you.
