he has like, friends, who he's been catfishing through faceapp

like essentially sometime in like early season nine he starts just posting recipes without a ton of personality because he's gotten excited about cooking and is getting good at it. but he doesn't talk about himself really. and this continues for like a year or two. and then he starts getting like comments and stuff and he realizes he needs to start like making up personal details. because like, he's dean winchester, dead serial killer. he needs to lie about himself online to some degree, so he has to create a character. and like, posting recipes online is for women. so the character has to be a woman. it like doesn't occur to him that since he is a man online posting recipes, men must be allowed to do that and he could create a male character to embody. like it's not that he's embarrassed that He, As A Man is posting recipes. it just doesn't occur to him that his persona could be a man.
