"Oh, yeah. Thanks to them for the same reason too. I mean, if it wasnât for Karla, and your other friend ⌠I forgot his name, I would not have realized how much I really love you." Abe said, winking at Charlie. "And wow. I wanna see that."
"Charlotte Davis. Stop that, will you?" he said, giving soft kisses on her neck and cheeks. His hug around her became tighter as he listened to her words. "We will be responsible parents, our child will grow as normal as he or she can, and we will love and cherish whatever he becomes in the future. Whatever we have in the past stays there and nothing more, okay? Now, letâs go to the bedroom." he said as they walked outside and headed to the room at the end of the hall.
âOther friend?â she frowned, tried to remember, â Nathan? As Nathan fucking Gorman?  Because in the ground of human decency to recognized as a friend. But Iâm glad someone talked common sens in you head.â She chuckled, â Jut beware of drunk Karla, she likes hugs.â
âCharlotte Hamilton you doofus. Or didnât you put this nice expensive ring in my hand?â She smiled softly as he rained kisses on her neck, feeling more calm on his arms. âI hope, just ignore my nervous hormone craze ramblings. And okay, not more talking about the past.â Taking his hand as they walked, she breathed more easily with the fresh air. âLetâs add paint as a thing the baby doesnât like the smell of.â
"Either way, for a man who obviously takes love for granted and regret it afterwards, he knows how to give some good advise." Abe said, laughing softly. "Well, I am a man who loves hugs and kisses too so I don't see how that's gonna be a problem."
"Oh, yeah. I'm sorry. The fact that I'm a man married to the woman of my dreams is still kinda sinking in. I need more convincing to believe I'm having a happy life." he said, giving her one last kiss on the back of the ear. "I really can't believe I'm the one who's telling you to calm down. Usually, you're the moral compass here." Abe pulled her to the last room in he hallway and opened the door to the main bedroom. "And welcome to our room."
