People will see another video of ICE taking an immigrant away from their families and putting them in a camp or prison indefinitely, and their response is to go “I won’t forgive anyone who voted for this”. But this isn’t new; ICE isn’t new. Haven’t we been seeing this on the news since 2016? Even earlier than that?

ICE was still a functioning organization under Biden and Obama, the only difference is that they were doing it quietly, and no white people died in front of a camera. If Renee Nicole Good hadn’t been killed, would people care? If Alex Pretti hadn’t been killed, would anyone be outraged? No. Because it took two white people being murdered on camera for everyone to actually realize “oh this is wrong, they’re just kidnapping and hurting people for the fun of it”.
