For Yuzu pretty please! 💥, 🌙 , 🍏, and 🐟?
👹 How does you OC act around different people and how does their personality change to match the environment they’re in? How do they act wit
💥 Are there any emotions your OC doesn’t know how to deal with, doesn’t understand or hates having to feel? Any reason behind this?
Prior to being given the name Verite, Yuzu is basically at the level of a child from a mental standpoint. Yuzu struggles deeply with sadness, particularly as it relates to the people she cares about, like Wendy or Clayman. It gnaws at her in a way she cannot begin to understand, and it pains her deeply. All she can do is be silly to try to dismiss that sadness, because she doesn't have the ability to understand or to listen. She lacks that emotional intelligence. There's a feeling of responsibility and guilt that comes with it, and all of that is much too complicated for her to fathom.
Once she's given Verite and gains more human level intelligence, she can understand those feelings, but she still hates them. Her mother and father should never have to feel sad, especially sadnesses that cannot be fixed easily.
🌙 What are some of your OC’s favourites? Favourite food, colour, season, stuff like that! Give some general simple facts that tend to get overlooked!
Food: fatty cowdeer belly XD any fatty meat really
Color: the purple of Wendy's hair
Season: fall! Crunchy leaves Yuzu's beloved
🍏 When your OC says “I had a bad day” what does that tend to mean? Is it really as bad as they’re saying or are they being a bit dramatic?
Yuzu as a child would only say something similar to that if Wendy had a bad day. Days when Wendy was sad or upset or hurt.
As an adult she is much more likely to say it as a joke than in any amount of seriousness.
🐟 What was your OC like as a baby? What were they like as a child? A teenager? An adult? How do you think they’ll develop ten years into their future? Twenty years? Will they live to old age?
Yuzu was first born as a regular ol' fox. Then, she was named Yuzu, and became much more like a human child :D she's just the sweetest. She wants nothing more than for her family to be happy and to make everyone around her laugh and smile. Extremely earnest.
As an adult (Yuzu Verite) she retains a lot of that earnesty, but she also understands things a lot better. Painful emotions cannot be cured solely by silly behavior. She still will behave in a silly manner to put smiles on the faces of those she loves - but she'll also do things that require more emotional intelligence, like listening to the problems or just providing comforting space.
She's interested in becoming stronger, but not obsessive. She wants to be able to protect her family.
10 years from now...20 years from now...10-20 years with Clayman and Wendy back together, seeing them work through the difficult things and finally get to build a life that's just...free. Safe in Tempest. Yuzu would I think be able to focus more on herself then - to make her own friends, and figure out what she wants from life.
