Update on First Demonolatry Meet-up
Hi all! Just by way of an update – I remain extremely appreciative of anyone who’s expressed interest in a London Meet-up and I still plan to arrange something either virtually or in person in London. However, I haven’t received enough responses yet to arrange something officially for May so for now I’ll put this on hold while we get some more numbers. In the meantime, I’ll be focusing on…
First Demonolatry London Meet-up
Thank you to everyone who’s either messaged or responded to the questionnaire! Given we now have a good gauge of interest, I’d like to invite everyone to let me know whether they’d be available and interested in having a meet-up on 31 May 2026 (either virtual or in-person in London depending on preferences). Please could I ask you all to confirm your interest using the form below? Thank you,…
Book Review: Lucifer and The Hidden Demons
This is an interesting grimoire and one I recommend for those trying to find their footing in demonolatry. For example, if you’re not sure if ceremonial magic versus informal magic is right for you? Or you’ve never tried demonolatry before and you want an accessible way to dive in first (safely).
Overview: This book, or rather this grimoire, provides a complete, easy-to-use and beginner friendly way to start working with demons. The magic in this grimoire is a mix of informal and ceremonial magic, by which I mean there is structure to the practices, but most of the work is done in your mind (rather than you planning the right date, finding the right materials etc).
The grimoire starts with some of the foundational beliefs the author and their order work on the basis of. They take you through how they view demons and what they think your relationship should be like with them. Interestingly, they take a departure from the usual give-and-take approach I know many practitioners (including myself) take when working and building relationships with demons. While I didn’t find I agreed with most of their views of what working relationships should look like with demons, I still think there is value in hearing them out and reaching your own conclusion. Likewise, the author themselves emphasises that your own critical analysis of their beliefs is warranted. I admire this refusal to impose their beliefs on others.
The grimoire then moves on to take you through some examples of how you can use the visualisation tools. You are then presented with one of the most complete toolbox for working with demons I have ever seen. Once you’ve gone through the list of demons & their areas of specialism, the visualisation instructions and the order in which you should go through them – you are essentially ready start working with demons.
The magic system:
Really, really interesting!!! This grimoire basically has you read a short paragraph, line by line. Each line has you visualise something, each line taking you along a certain path and having you visualise each step to the final visual destination.
Every demon has their own paragraph which once you’ve finished reading/visualising, summons them. You need to combine them based on which demon you need to summon with Lucifer as the universal base / starting point. So for example, if you wanted to summon Lucifer only, you would read the visualisation cues for Lucifer and stop there. If you wanted to summon another demon such as Beelzebub, you would first read Lucifer’s visualisation cues + summon Lucifer. You would then move on to read Beelzebub’s visualisation cues and summon Beelzebub. Once you have summoned the demon in question, you would then put forward your request as clearly and as detailed as you can (although as the author notes, the demons will understand you even if you don’t put forward every single detail or concern regarding you request).
My favourite part:
My favourite part was in the beginning when the author says that reading fiction is one of the best ways to improve your magical abilities. I could not agree more. His reasoning (and I think it ties in specifically with the magic system of this grimoire) is that reading fiction trains your brain’s imagination muscle. When you read fiction, you’re playing a movie in your head and each scene is something your brain visualises and puts together.
What I liked:
No missing parts: I really liked the fact that this is a complete grimoire. You could use this grimoire by itself and get incredible results for the rest of your life. You do not see this very often across older and modern publishing.
Safe: It is also beginner friendly because the visualisation cues have been built to summon the demons of your choice and only them (i.e. you lower the chances of any spiritual fraudsters trying to trick you).
Informative and effective: This book provides a whole list of which demons to use for specific purposes. It also takes you through how to deal with nuanced situations, especially ongoing circumstances where you may need to summon demons everyday as the situation evolves. As I was reading, I felt the power of the visualisation cues – I have no doubt the magic in this grimoire is extremely effective when practiced sincerely.
What I did not like:
Personal views: It’s not entirely that my views clash with some of the foundational views in this grimoire, it’s more so the delivery. They are not extreme views but I think they could have been conveyed with more tact. I also think that the truth is always grey rather than black-or-white so I would have appreciated some more flexibility with how some of the opinions were expressed in this grimoire. Then again, it’s their book! So they are perfectly entitled to write as they so please. In any event I found their views interesting to consider. Also, again, they themselves encourage the reader to criticise and challenge their views so I really can’t fault them and this is a minor point.
Demon names: I respect the different use of names for demons however I thought it would have been helpful to include references to what certain demons are known more widely by. This grimoire does not use more widely accepted names for certain demons so I found myself a bit overwhelmed by the amount of names I had never encountered. This does not impact the usability of the grimoire, so not critical but just would have been helpful.
Finally, not so much a point I didn’t like but I would have loved to have read some personal anecdotes from the author about how they’ve used the magic in the grimoire and what it’s done for them. They’re a great writer and I really appreciated their sense of humour throughout the book.
Conclusion: A great read for any demonolatry practitioner of any level. It has changed how I see demonic rituals and I will definitely be trying out the rituals in this grimoire. At this moment, I think this is the best grimoire I have ever come across on.
Give it a read!

Happy Vernal Equinox!
Happy Vernal Equinox everyone. In the UK, the Vernal Equinox was officially yesterday – 20 March 2026. However, as some of you may well know, today is the day on which some demonolatry practitioners perform a rite to Lucifer. Why is this? This is because the Spring Equinox marks the beginning of Spring and the return of the light (you see where this is going). From this point on, days will be…
What has your own demonolatry experience been like?

Demonolatry FAQs
Welcome to Demonolatry London
What is demonolatry?
Demonolatry is the worship of demons in simple terms. ‘Worship’, however, should not be construed in the same way that God is worshipped in the Abrahamic religions. It can be worship in the sense that demonolatry practitioners revere, respect and hold certain demons in high esteem – but it’s not worship in the sense that we get down and grovel (or anything similar).
In more detailed terms, it can also involve close occult practice with demons. This is, in essence, working with or using the aid of demons when undertaking magical work. Occult practice can range in complexity – from ceremonial magic, contracts, rites, spells and even to simple praying.
It can also be practised using different hierarchies, ‘denominations’ of demonolatry or can be your own personal path/understanding (within reason).
What makes it ‘demonolatry’ is the help of and reverence towards demons/infernals.
2. What is a demon?
A demon a spirit, but at the level of a god or deity. They are ancient beings who have often gone by other names throughout history and in different cultures.
Many demons were once ancient gods that were worshipped and then later demonised by Abrahamic religions – largely a conflict between the rising monotheistic Abrahamic religions and their polytheistic/pagan predecessors. This is key to understanding demons – they are not evil entities, many of them were once worshipped in their own right prior to being labelled ‘demons’.
Today, we can refer to the demonic/infernal pantheon as inclusive of the Goetia, Lucifer, Lilith and a few not explicitly mentioned in Goetic grimoires. Through personal experience, although they may not often be collectively referred to grimoires – they do seem to share their own distinct culture when comparing them to say, the culture of the Hellenic gods, the Nordic gods or the Hindu gods for example.
They are not malicious, most are very kind and if you treat them with respect – they will respect you back. So there is no need to be afraid of them or demonolatry, just be sensible and kind!
3. What is it like working with demons?
It will vary as each demon/infernal has their own personalities, ways of working and preferences. Overall though, they’re responsive, patient and very wise (although their advice will also vary).
In the early days, it looks like the odd sign here or there. Hearing their name a lot occurs for a lot of people. You start getting a feel for their presence – which can feel overwhelming, warm, ‘scary’ or you might even hear their voices if your clairaudience is super.
As you build your relationship with them, they start to become a part of your daily life – either through prayer or by simply feeling their support during times of needs.
After a while of practising, you will have your own routines, rites or modes of working with them established. You’ll be able to ascertain exactly which demon has entered the room by the ‘vibes’ alone. They won’t always visit strictly on business and they will often pop in seemingly randomly at times.
Your life will change for the better – either because of their guidance, their ‘meddling’ or simply through the support of their presence if you don’t have a great support system in your life. Some can really teach you what unconditional love looks like, while others can show you how to stand up for yourself, how to navigate issues or even how to simply be more content with yourself. You learn a lot simply by getting to know them. I certainly find many of them inspiring enough to evaluate what kind of person I’d like to be.
4. How do I get started in demonolatry?
If you’ve never worked with demons/infernals before – I’d start with some research so you can better understand demons, the goetia etc. You don’t have to be a subject matter expert nor do you have to go out and try to read every single grimoire out there. Find a few good books or webpages and see what resonates with you – see what demons you feel drawn to.
Even social media is a good place to start, just make sure you take a critical ear to everything and top if off with your own personal research.
Once you feel like you have a good grasp of what demons are, who they are and what demonolatry practice can look like – start thinking about what demons you would like to reach out to. They won’t all offer to start working relationships with you, but there is likely to be at least 1 or 2 that will be happy to get you started at least.
Also make sure (if you are new to magic/the occult in general), that you have a good understanding of protection magic and trickster spirits. This is really important when starting out and especially until you find a true and trusted ‘patron/matron’ demon.
Once you’re ready to meet the demon / have your protection in place – you can choose a method of communication. For beginners, tarot is often a good starting place or it could be as simple as praying to the demon and asking them to send you back confirmatory signs. You could also ask the infernals to send you signs that will give you clues of which demon wants to work with you (this is also particularly helpful if the tarot reading was vague). Responses can look like odd occurrences, seeing strange animals, hearing their names or even getting visits/signs in dreams. It really varies but I’ve found they often don’t leave room for interpretation! (especially patron/matrons)
From there, let your relationship(s) naturally develop.
If want some suggestions for resources or a good point to start with any of these elements – leave a comment or DM me and I’ll be happy to help.
I will likely add more FAQs as we go along, but I hope this is a useful starting points for newbies out there.

Welcome to Demonolatry London
Welcome to Demonolatry London. A site for infernal practitioners of all levels, skills and ability. This site is dedicated to the lovely infernals (and angels) I have worked with in the past few years. I found myself feeling as if there were not many open/public demonolatry groups in the UK and so this site will seek to combat this a little bit.
This site is aimed at:
Those who wish to have a bigger sense of community with their fellow infernal practitioners (particularly in the UK/London).
Those who are just starting out or simply curious about demons, infernal practice, demonolatry, demon/deity worship and want some guidance or others to talk to and learn from.
Those who wish to do some of the above in-person, at monthly London meet-ups. An informal and friendly setting.
I hope to meet some of you online and in-person. This site and events will always be free and I only ask that anyone using this site or coming to events also takes a liberal approach with sharing their insights, knowledge and tales.
We're currently gauging interest before going live with online and in-person meet-ups. If you're interested - let us know in the comments or visit the Official Demonolatry London site to cast your vote.
