Murder is the deliberate and premediated killing of another person. Abortion is not muder on the account that embryos are not people; at that point in time, they are just a bundle of unfeeling cells. Knowing you, you’ll bring up third trimester abortions. Yes, by that point the foetus is considered a human because it can feel, move, etc. However, basically all abortions at that stage are necessities; maybe carrying the baby to term would kill the mother, there is no chance of the baby surviving even if carried to term, etc etc.

The whole concept of pregnancy isn’t being taken seriously . Women want maternity leave what do majority of the companies do? They would rather fire women who are pregnant than give them maternity leave because it’s “too costly” for the big companies . Medical procedures aside from labor are expensive for those expecting. And various other things that involve expecting mothers are too costly and underfunded. If it were taken seriously every woman would be able to get adequate health care for their pregnancy and maternity leave from their jobs.

And what did women do to earn any of that?  You have to work for special benefits.

They have worked for their benefits. 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s not right to fire a woman because she’s pregnant. It wouldn’t even be costing the companies anything because they have temps. Those temps are trained by the expecting mothers. In that process (when the temp replaces the expecting mother who is about to leave) the company isn’t paying the expecting mother when she’s not working—the temp is essentially a place holder for her job. In other cases(which is a vast minority), companies that are better off financially do give mothers a six week paid maternity leave. Those companies that offer maternity leave know how difficult it is for mothers to go through that entire process and they allow the mothers to get used to the huge lifestyle change that is having a baby. Do you even know how emotionally and mentally draining it is to give birth? My guess is that you don’t. Mothers should be able to get maternity leave and still have their jobs after giving birth. It’s not right to fire a woman just because she’s pregnant.

Women can deal with those obstacles by not getting pregnant in the first place or by getting a husband.  What you’re suggesting puts a strain on small businesses.  Pregnancy and birth are just as stressful on the father too by the way.  The father of the child has to wait on the mother hand in foot because that is his duty.  That’s why absentee fathers are scumbags.

In some cases both mother and father have to make ends meet. That’s what I’m saying. If companies (big corporations) give women maternity leave—even if it’s by hiring a temp, it’ll help ease the stress on fathers. Also, what I’m suggesting is not putting a strain on small businesses because that small business would be hiring a temp which would act as a place holder for the mother. The mother on maternity leave would not be getting paid but she would not lose her job either as the temp would act as a place holder. It wouldn’t be hurting small businesses whatsoever because the same work would be put into place without paying double. In today’s economy it’s becoming almost impossible to raise a child on one sole income. Women being able to have maternity leave eases the financial stress and burden that fathers have to endure because they’ll know their job will be there to help support their family as soon as they’re better and able to return to work. And I completely agree with you on the fact that absentee fathers are scumbags.

Of course women should control when they get pregnant.  You think men should do it for them?  Men have enough on their plate to be forced to deal with that shit and it says a lot about how much you value women’s agency that you want to hand over their personal responsibility and accountability to other parties.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch.  Someone’s got to pay for that “free/low cost birth control” and I bet you think it should be the state since you have Engels as your profile pic.  Where does the state get its money?  Tax payers.  I pay taxes so it’s my money going to cheating whores and gold diggers whenever they want to spread their legs.  Loyal decent women aren’t the ones inhaling state funding here.  I shouldn’t have to pay a chunk of my hard earned money every time a woman wants to have sex!

I believe the abortion decision should be given equal weight between the mother and the father of the baby.  How is that unreasonable?

Have you ever heard the word rape? Or maybe, you know, those abortions that are actually necessary, because the mothers life might be at risk? Or for you we’re just objects? It doesn’t happen to every woman in the world, but it is still a reality. And the only thing we’re fighting for is that: equality .
