**Find My Kind** Spell
Here is a simple spell I thought Iâd share for attracting like-minded people and luring towards yourself more genuine friends/friendships.
Quick Tip: A cup of Chamomile or Mint tea would be quite nice to start, finish or to drink throughout this spell, as chamomile is good for abundance and mint attracts prosperity.
Ingredients:
Basil  - crushed, powdered, plain, whatever! Rose or Clear Quartz (alternative = silver coin) Vanilla Essence or Oil Lavender -  sprigs or powdered, doesnât matter. A Candle  - white is great. so is orange or brown. A Pen  -  green, orange or red would be best. An Envelope A Piece of Paper
Method:
1. Keep the quartz in your possession throughout the spell - in a pocket or next to the candle is fine.
2. Dab the vanilla essence in the four corners of your piece of paper.
3. Draw 3 circles/suns on the piece of paper with your pen, interlocking with each other like in this picture:
â write your full name in the middle section outlined here in red. 4. If you want, you can write on the other side of the paper the qualities you want the people you attract to have. A similar sense of humour, loyalty, any particular appreciations/hobbies etc.
5. Fold up the piece of paper and put it in an envelope along with the basil and lavender.
6. Pass the envelope through the flame of the candle as many times as you wish (if in a circular manner, aim it to be clockwise) and repeat this mantra:
I call upon my people Listen to my voice The blood that runs through all our veins Will now give us no choice
Now is the time For us to be bound To attract like to like and within each other Our light shall be found
I call my kin Come to my side Let our minds intermingle Let our lives intertwine
â Repeat the last phrase as much as you like. 3 or 9 times would work quite well, but itâs up to you.
7. You may decide to burn the envelope - if this is what you choose, then wrap the ashes in a lettuce leaf and bury it in a flourishing garden or at the base of a big, old tree. If you do not want to burn the envelope, kiss it and bury it in your garden, close to your front door or at the roots of a large tree.
8. Keep the quartz on or around you when going to meet new people, or if youâre feeling in the mood to meet new people. If you donât want to wear it on your person then keeping it in the bedroom or near the phone or computer should be fine as well.
Good times to perform this spell: Waxing Moon or Midday
~ BewitchedByNight
Traditional Celtic marriage vows, better than anything I've ever heard:
You cannot possess me for I belong to myself But while we both wish it, I give you that which is mine to give You cannot command me, for I am a free person But I shall serve you in those ways you require and the honeycomb will taste sweeter coming from my hand.
But thereâs more of it? I pledge to you that yours will be the name I cry aloud in the night. And the eyes into which I smile in the morning. I pledge to you the first bite from my meat, And the first drink from my cup. I pledge to you my living and dying, equally in your care, And tell no strangers our grievances. This is my wedding vow to you. This is a marriage of equals.
Full Moon ritual
My ritual is very simple. I didn't plan it ahead of time. I went outside, under the full moon, raised both hands to embrace the moon, and mentally spoke, with all my heart and every fiber of my being, "Goddess, you know what I want and you know what I need. Please give it to me as painlessly as possible." And i went back inside, knowing she would..
What's in a name...?
I call myself a secular witch because I don't follow any specific deities. And yet... And yet... I stand out under tonight's full moon and I call her goddess and Mother One could say this is a holdover from the Wiccan influence when I was a new witch but.. But... I have been calling the Moon "Mother" since I was a child, decades before I got in the actual practice of witchcraft. So what's in a name? Nothing. Magick speaks to each of us differently. Never let anyone judge your path.

Sigil making with black light ink. Saw this suggestion on another post so I decided to try it. Found the pen at Barnes and Noble in the childrenâs section. It doesnât write real smooth on skin but with a little work I got one done.
It was a little tricky, had to hold the lid in my mouth so I could see :)

To Get The Job You Want
Oregano
Basil
Button (green would be best)
Something to attach the button to thatâs related to the job (optional)
Sprinkle the oregano and basil on the table. Set the button on top of it and let it sit for a little bit. Remove the button and gather up the herbs. Place the herbs in a fire safe container and burn them until they are smoking. Pass the button through the smoke while saying:
With the aide of this button, I do find, A job that I Am proud to call mine.
At night, place the button on a charging board. (credit to seraphickalmagick for the idea of a charging board) Something kinda like the picture below. Make sure it includes all the things that you want in a job, the more specific the better.
Keep the button on you during the day, especially as youâre job hunting. You can attach the button to something that is related to the job you are wanting to make the spell more powerful.
My Personal Experience: An hour after I wrote this spell, I got a call from the place I was wanting to work at.Â
I crocheted a bracelet to keep the button with me throughout the day to ensure that the interview went well. Originally I was interviewing for a position in the framing department, but that ended up fizzling out. Instead I was offered a job as aâŚcrochet instructor ;)
Hopefully this will work as well for you as it did for me!

Rainyâs Visualization Job Spell
This is just a simple, easy job spell! Perfect for the day you submit your resume or job application, and adds a boost of luck to your chances. Note: This spell should be done in addition to applying for a certain job
Written by Rainy-Day-Witchcraft, please do not remove source!
Materials
Green candle
Wealth/Luck Powder (recipe here)
Copy of your application
Step 1: The Set-Up
On a flat surface, fold a copy of your application or resume into a smaller flat square, and place your green candle right in the center, surrounded by a ring of Wealth/Luck Powder. (I found that the skinnier candle I used sat up better when I slightly melted the bottom with a lighter, and stuck it to the paper!) This candle can be carved with any matter of sigils, runes, words or chants to add some power and intent to your spell. Your application/resume can also include these: I personally chose to add some luck, success, and âgetting hiredâ sigils to the paper. Â
When this is done, carry the paper & candle over to the area you will be performing your visualization at; I chose to do it while sitting on my bed, as I perform most of my meditation there! The candle should preferably be at eye-level to prevent slouching or back pain, but this is not necessary.Â
Step 2: Visualization
Begin readying yourself by approaching a meditative state. Control your breathing, sit with half of your back-end elevated (to prevent back pain) and focus on clearing your mind. When youâve reached your calm and cleared state (whenever this might be for you) light the candle, and begin your visualization. Visualize yourself getting a call from the employer, acing your interview, working at the business, etc! Visualize what you hope for yourself, how to get there, and what steps youâll take to make it happen.  (Tip: While visualizing, you may close your eyes or stare into the candle flame, whichever is easier for you)
When you have finished visualizing these things, sprinkle some wealth/luck powder into the flame and candle wax. At this time, you may choose to say a few words, or perhaps a more elaborate chant. When this is done, go ahead and let your candle burn out and melt onto the paper. You may also press a sigil or symbol into the melted wax when the candle has snuffed out, or sprinkle your remaining powder into it
Step 3: Taking Measures
Of course, as with any spell, it does take some non-magickal work on your part! Here are a few common tips on applying and interviewing for jobs:Â
Do your best to submit a professional, clean, and completed resume or application. Make sure the paper isnât wrinkled, that your handwriting is neat and legible, and sometimes it can even increase your chances of being hired if you submit a cover letter!
Wear nice clothes, regardless of the job you are applying for. Make sure not to show too much skin, or dress in anything that would not be appropriate for the workplace. Although extremely sexist on the part of the american work system, this tip is more for the ladies ~
Speak clearly and at a good volume; hold eye contact, smile, and (if time allows) ask some questions about the company, or share what knowledge you already have on it.
And good luck! Even if you are not hired for the job, just keep on trying; If you are especially hard on cash, try looking at jobs you wouldnât normally consider
Let me know if you have any questions or comments about the spell. Thank you, and have a wonderful day!
~Rainy
Bonus: Here are some snapshots from my performance of this spell!
Job Spell!
The basics of the spell I believe got me a job interview within 2 days:
Materials:
A favorite incense that helps you think of success or liveliness.
A representation for value/money. (gold, a favored crystal/stone, etc)
Fire and a place to burn a small paper.
Green ink or marker.
A candle for the deity or spirit you would like to ask for help from, or if you donât work with any, pick a candle that is a color you feel appropriate. Suggested: green, gold/yellow.
A symbol (sigil etc) that indicates your goal, motivation, or direction you want in life.
1) Burn your incense. I chose a patchouli/forest incense. Patchouli attracts prosperity, and forests thrive and sustain themselves richly without interference, and are their own ecosystem. Thatâs how I want to be and what I want to accomplish. The incense had a green color so that helped also.
2) Take your object of value (I chose a piece of gold jewelry kept on my godsâ altar) and run it through the incense smoke while you begin to focus your intent. Enter a mild meditation or trance if you can, and begin to push the intent into the object. The purpose of this object is to keep it around your person as long as you feel it helps, to attract opportunity and to motivate.
3) When you feel ready, set the object aside or on your altar if you have one, then light your candle. If you work closely with a deity, ask if they would be willing to help your purpose with their energy.
4) Get a small strip of paper and your green marker. Write the symbol youâve chosen on the paper, and if you have a preferred job, write the name of it on the other side of the paper. If youâre asking a deityâs help, the symbol should be of Theirs or something that indicates Their strengths. I used the Kenaz rune because itâs my favorite and I use it for a lottt of things.
Here is the chant to say while building and focusing intent as you write. If you have room on the paper without it being too big, write the chant down too.
Doors of success, open to me
I stand on my own and take what I see
Doors of success, open to me
Prosperity is mine, I blaze my way free
Light the paper on the fire in the candle, and let it burn in a safe location. Repeat the chant as much as you feel you want to while it burns. Envision the fire being fueled by the intent you put into the paper while you wrote. I prefer to do this spell in front of an open windowâI feel it lets all the smoke from the incense and paper suck out, like releasing all your purpose out into the air to do its job. But thatâs only important if you feel it is.
Put out your candle however you see fit, but let the incense burn out all the way. Keep the object of value (that you charged/enchanted for attracting your job, motivation, or money) either on your person or beside the candle you used.
Every twig is a wand, every puddle is a scrying glass, every star is a candle.
No special tools are needed for witchcraft. Witchery is what you make it, nature and the great spirit listens to your intent and observes the purity of your actions, it does not judge on the accuracy of your tools.Â
Hedge witch.
